“My dogs and I love Anastasia! One of my dogs has been going to Anastasia for months. My other dog is a nervous guy and likes his alone time, so we usually leave him at home. But we decided to take him on a trial run to spend a day with Anastasia, and he made a new best friend!”

“Hayleigh was great! I absolutely loved that she had other dogs in her home, so my two dogs had a bunch of new friends to play with. When I picked them up, I could tell they had a very fun and playful day. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Seth was super responsive, communicative and professional. While we struggled to find a Rover receptive to caring for our dog that doesn't play well with others, they quickly read the description for our dog and without preempting, let us know the accomodations they would take to ensure our dog had a stress free stay. They obviously knew how to take care of dogs well, including rather particular pups like mine. We were so grateful for Seth and felt very comfortable leaving our dog in his care. Next time we are in the area and need pet care, we will definitely go to them again!!”

“Kyle’s doggy day care was great! My dog, Clancy, has separation anxiety and Kyle was patient and kind. Clancy had a great time playing with the other dogs and came home pooped everyday.”

“Devin was great with my puppy. Found out that my pup has a little bit of separation anxiety, but Devin managed to keep her distracted with walks and play time. Very happy with our experience. Will definitely use her again!”

“Adnan was great with my puppy, Dolly! She spent the full day with him and his dogs, and everyone got along swimmingly. I was able to receive updates and photos throughout the day as well! Looking forward to this being Dolly’s weekly daycare.”

“Margaret is so great with our energetic 1 year old pup! He absolutely loves going to her house for daycare and has now learned to be around cats, thanks to her magic "dog whisperer" kitty, and just loves playing with her dog, Rocky, and whoever else is there for daycare. She sends photos throughout the day and always gives a little synopsis at the end of the day which I really appreciate. Margaret also keeps watch and puts the kabosh on dominant behavior and I have noticed a difference in my dog's play after going to daycare there - he has never been aggressive but now he has less of the dominating tendencies he used to have and I really think this is owed to Margaret. I highly recommend her for daycare - we are so thankful we've found her on Rover!”

“Mark was awesome, I had a last minute change and he was able to help me and Buddy out. Great communication and follow up. Buddy had a great time. Clean home, friendly and easy to get to - close to the airport if you're flying. I will definitely use Mark when traveling in the Portland area again.”
“Serena is great! I love that whenever I leave Theo in her care, I know he’s going to get nice and tired playing with Nugget, and I appreciate the updates I get throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend and we will keep coming to Serena!”

“Kris is absolutely the best sitter in Portland. He is communicative, he is honest and he is very giving towards your furbabies, he takes initiative to go above and beyond!”

“Took my 3 year old female GSD to Allen’s for daycare and had a good first time experience. Got to meet the other dogs and see her interact with them. Lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which really helps you feel at ease for a first time drop off. Good to know the dogs are running around getting their exercise. We plan to continue using Allen’s services.”

“We are really pleased with our dog’s first stay with Peter and Missy! We appreciated being able to meet them and their sweet dog, Gunner, prior to booking with them. Peter and Missy seem very caring, conscientious and knowledgeable about dog care. After our dog’s visit, we were pleasantly surprised to receive information about our dog’s activities (e.g. map showing where he went on a walk, at what time and distance) and loved the photos! We appreciated them taking such great care of our dog!”

“Wow what a great dog sitter! She took ths time to explain how she introduces a new dog to the mix. She sent a ton of photos and gave me details throughout the day. My little pup had a blast! Thanks so much!”

“Chica always loves her days at Rosanna's! She perks up every every time I mention it. There's always something to do! Running in the yard, hunting, playing and getting cuddles on demand. It's a great vacation for Chica every week!”

About: Animals have always been part of my life — from horses to fish, and most importantly, dogs. For the past 2+ years I’ve been a foster with the Portland Dachshund Rescue, caring for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with medical needs. Through local dachshund meetups and rescue work, I’ve become known as a trusted safe space for small dogs in the Portland community. What sets me apart is the blend of heart and hands-on skills: • Experience with senior dogs, medical care, and even injections when needed. • Specialized understanding of dachshunds and other small breeds. • A home set up with secure fencing and stairs for tiny dogs’ safety. • The flexibility of working from home most days, with the option to bring pups to the office on others. I treat every guest like my own — with patience, love, and individualized care. Most days I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I go into the office, but I can often bring a guest dog with me if needed, so they won’t be left alone. Because I only host up to two small dogs at a time (20 lbs and under), I can keep routines flexible — from regular potty breaks and short walks to cuddle breaks on the couch. My schedule is designed to give your pup a safe, consistent rhythm while you’re away. Whether your pup is staying at my townhome or I’m caring for them in yours, safety is always the top priority. My home is rescue-approved with secure fencing, pet stairs, and even an outdoor ramp in progress for tiny legs. Guests are always supervised, indoors and out. If I’m in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys, and I’m happy to follow any security routines or send photos so you feel comfortable. My goal is simple: peace of mind for you, and a safe, happy experience for your pet.
About: Hi, I’m Kyle and have 15+ years experience caring for animals! Your dog gets the whole house. I no longer have a dog of my own, so yours is the only pet here. No pack dynamics, no resident dog to negotiate with. That's made my home a go-to for reactive, anxious, and senior dogs who need calm. I work from home, so your dog has company about 90% of the day, plus a large fully fenced yard with 6-foot privacy fencing and gated entry for safe off-leash time. What I specialize in: Senior dogs: medication administration, mobility assistance, patient pacing Reactive and anxious dogs: quiet single-pet environment, no forced socializing Peace of mind, built in: Pet first-aid certified Emergency vet less than 10 minutes away Indoor/outdoor cameras Daily photo and video updates Meet-and-greet required before every first stay, because fit matters Working from home means your pup will have constant companionship throughout the day, with plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and potty breaks whenever needed. No more rushing home from work or feeling guilty about leaving them alone! My spacious, fully-fenced backyard is a dog's dream playground, perfect for supervised exercise that matches your pet's energy level and abilities – whether that's playful puppy zoomies or gentle senior strolls. Being present 90% of the day allows me to closely monitor your pet's well-being, maintain their routine, and ensure they're happy, comfortable, and getting all the care they need. I'm experienced in administering medications, following special diets, and accommodating mobility issues. Your dog's comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I'll adapt activities and care to their specific needs and limitations. Your peace of mind is my priority – regular updates, photos, and videos will keep you connected with your furry friend throughout their stay. My daily schedule is structured to provide consistent, attentive care for your pet throughout the day: Early Morning (6:00-8:00 AM): - Wake-up potty break and gentle morning exercise - Breakfast and medication administration if needed - Peaceful morning cuddles while I have coffee and check emails Mid-Morning to Afternoon (8:00 AM-2:00 PM): - I work from my home office, providing constant supervision - Regular potty breaks every 2-3 hours or as needed - Play sessions in the fenced yard between video calls - Quiet rest time with comfy beds near my desk - Lunch break includes another walk or yard time Afternoon to Evening (2:00-6:00 PM): - More active playtime and exercise sessions - Afternoon snacks or medications as scheduled - Social time with my senior dog for friendly pups - Extended outdoor time during nice weather Evening (6:00-10:00 PM): - Dinner time and evening medications - Relaxing evening walks - Cozy indoor time with lots of cuddles - Final potty break before bedtime routine Weekends are even more flexible, allowing for extended play sessions, extra attention, and customized activities based on your dog's energy level and preferences. My schedule can be adjusted to accommodate your pet's established routine, ensuring they maintain the consistency they're used to at home. My pet-proofed home is designed with your dog's safety and comfort as top priorities. The property features: - A fully fenced, secure backyard with 6-foot privacy fencing and gated entry - Pet-friendly, open-concept interior with non-slip flooring (I have rugs I place around the home for aging pets that have a hard time getting around) - Separate spaces available for dogs who need quiet time or personal space - Temperature-controlled environment with plenty of cozy beds and resting spots - All cleaning supplies and medications secured in a high cabinet - Multiple water stations both indoors and in shaded outdoor areas Trust & Communication: - Regular updates with photos/videos throughout the day - Immediate notification of any concerns or changes in behavior - Consistent availability via phone, text, or your preferred communication method - Meet-and-greet session required before first stay to ensure compatibility - Happy to follow your detailed care instructions and maintain your dog's routine - References available from long-term clients, including those with senior dogs Senior & Special Needs Care: - Experience administering various medications including pills, and topical treatments - Mobility assistance for dogs with arthritis or physical limitations - Close monitoring of food and water intake, bathroom habits, and energy levels - Gentle exercise adapted to your dog's abilities and energy level - Quiet, stress-free environment perfect for older or anxious dogs - Understanding of common senior dog conditions and their management

When I met Halley, I realized we had met before. She used to work at a boarding and grooming facility that I still occasionally take Sheldon too. It was so wonderful to see her. She was always such a bright spot. She is so absolutely sweet and attentive to your pet, I have found a friend and a caregiver for my dog and I am so happy with her. I would give her six stars if they had them or even 10 Sheldon was so tired out when he got home from playing all day. I know he enjoyed himself just by the fact that when he smelled her, his tail was whining so hard it shook his whole body. Halley is real. She is a great provider and it would be in your best interest to use

Dean is wonderful! Super communicative, amazing with dogs, and their home has a great yard that our pups loved. I really appreciated the photo updates and seeing the dogs so comfortable together. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Definitely recommend!

Our boy can be pretty anxious but Angela and her babies Henry and Dingus were so good to our pup. We were in town on vacation and just needed a day to run some errands so we’re so thankful she was able to make space in her house so last minute. Would absolutely recommend and we will definitely be a repeat customer if we’re back in town!
