“Jessica is fantastic!! My address wasn’t updated in the app, and she was kind enough to drive from my old home to my new place. She definitely took more than 30 mins out of her day to walk my dog, and I was so appreciative!! Took lots of photos and looks like Kona had a blast ❤️”

Johnathan A.
About: I've had dogs since I was ten. I've trained anxious dogs, aggressive dogs, and crazy puppies. They're all super sweet when you get to know them! I've dog sat for friends and coworkers for about three years, I love getting to know they're personalities. I really enjoy training, walking, and just having fun with the pups in my life. I'm a part time student, and about to leave my summer job, so my schedule is very wide open. I can walk or pet sit any day except Tuesday (when I have class). I have a reliable vehicle so I don't need much notice, let me know anytime! I have two dogs in my townhouse in southeast Portland. We do daily neighborhood walks or hikes in the mountains. I'm a big fan of long walks or trips to the dog park. I frequently do leash training, as well as teaching new tricks. No matter what I'm doing, I like to have dogs hanging out with me and giving them as much attention as possible.

“Thanks as always Genelle!”

Stephanie F.
“To whom it may concern, I am writing to highly recommend Stephanie for any dog care and walking services you might need. Over the years, Stephanie has provided pet sitting services for my dogs on numerous occasions. Each time, I was met with peace of mind knowing that my dogs were in the capable and caring hands of Stephanie. Stephanie possesses a blend of professionalism and genuine affection for animals. She treats each dog as if it were her own, ensuring they are not only well taken care of but also showered with love and attention. More than once, I have returned from trips to find my dogs doing wonderfully. Stephanie has consistently demonstrated an exceptional understanding of canine behavior. Whether it's a puppy full of energy or a senior dog requiring a gentle touch, Stephanie manages to cater her care approach specifically to the needs of each individual dog. She understands the importance of routine, discipline, and affection, making sure that each dog is not only exercised and fed but also mentally stimulated and comforted. I highly recommend her! Sincerely, Fiona Riley”

Hannah R.

“Hannah was amazing! She was very flexible and accommodating. We loved the aesthetic pictures she sent of our puppy. She definitely gave us peace of mind on our trip while away. Thank you? And highly recommend.”

Cassie T.

“Cassie is a patient, caring and wonderful dog walker. She understands dogs with special needs and can communicate with them using a body language that makes dogs feel comfortable. We have an anxious dog who takes a very long time to warm up to strangers and she has taken the time (6 months!) to get to know our dog so they can be friends and she can take care of him. It gives us immense joy to know our pup has been able to build a relationship based on trust and caring. We are very pleased and would recommend Cassie to any dog who needs extra patience.”

Crysten S.
“Crysten has an exceptional ability to care for animals, showcasing a level of expertise and compassion that is truly unparalleled. She played an instrumental role in the entire breeding process for my English Bulldogs, from insemination and birthing to vaccinations and blood draws, ensuring the well-being of the puppies at each stage. Not only did she handle the technical aspects with great skill, but she also provided loving care to the mother dog, taking her on walks and ensuring she was comfortable and happy and received a break from her pups.”

Raphael T.

“Couldn’t ask for a better dog walker. He was on time and walked my happy dog just the right amount of time. Will certainly call him when we need further help.”

Taylor M.

“It was such a pleasure having Taylor take care of our precious dog! She was dependable, consistent and most of all our boy adored her. He even gave the happy howl when she stopped over. We got photos and prompt updates daily. This was my first time using Rover and Taylor . We will definitely be back.”

Emma H.

“Emma was polite, kind, and a great communicator. She and Callie got along great. I would definitely book with Emma again.”

About: I’ve been on Rover for a couple years now and I’m loving meeting all of the wonderful pets around Portland! I have personal experience living with a cat and/or dog for my entire life, as well as some semi-professional experience in a pre-vet technician course I took for a year through my school. I absolutely love animals and I want your pet to be as happy as possible! I get along really well with animals and I am good at reading pet body language and respecting their personal space as well. I have a 4WD personal vehicle, so transportation is never an issue and I’m very responsible with my time management. I have pet-sat for both friends and family since I’ve been a young kid and I have always had a great time with their animals, honestly it’s a privilege to me to be asked to do so! I am willing to do whatever it is to make sure that your animals are cared for and happy while you are away, and I'm happy to give you updates as often as you would like them. I am not picky about any particular animal breeds or size, I love anything from a tiny cat to a 135 pound Mastiff. I currently have two cats named Butters and Nazgûl, they doesn’t come with me to clients’ homes but I’m always happy to show everyone pictures! I’m always willing to learn and try so feel free to ask for any accommodation your pet needs. I work full-time remote alongside doing Rover. I’m most easily available in the morning or evenings during the week, and all day on the weekends, but my schedule is flexible and I can make most requests work. I am currently only taking care of animals in the client’s home, but I will do everything to make sure that your pets are comfortable.
