I just hope she is always available when I need a dog walker or sitter because we’ve been spoiled and can’t imagine going to anyone else. About: As a dog owner of my own for 8 years and growing up with pets, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets like they’re family. Thats me! I will care for your animals like they are my own and will always strive to give them a positive encounter. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies (around 3 weeks old and up). I know sometimes extra care is needed and will always prioritize their comfort and well being. Additionally, I am good with shy and/or skittish dogs and know how to help them feel safe while showing them I am trustworthy and gentle. My experience with cats is about 10 years. I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is a thriving child of divorce and is with her Dad until August. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.

About: As a former National Park Service employee of ten years I’m basically hardwired to love the outdoors and animals, and spending time with animals in the outdoors! I’ve pet sit cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and abilities for friends, family, and coworkers. Having had both very old and anxious dogs, I’m familiar with the patience, attentiveness, and consistency needed to watch high needs pets and will always adapt my care to guarantee their comfort. As both a college student and an exercise enthusiast, I can fit the care of your pet seamlessly in with my everyday life - be it cuddling on the couch, hanging out in a shared space, throwing a ball, or going for hikes or light runs. When outdoors I always carry extra water and a dog bowl, and am closely tuned in to the needs of your pet to assure they are safe, comfortable, and having a great time. As a full-time college student I have very flexible availability, especially in the early morning, afternoons, and evening. This means I can check in often, and dedicate the best/coolest time of day to walks. As someone who grew up with hyper active and intelligent dogs, I understand that the anxiety that comes with human-pet separation is a two way street. To make sure both you and your pets have peace of mind, I will do my best to gather all necessary information from you about your pets needs, routines, preferences, behaviors, training level (judgement free - training is hard and dogs have a mind of their own), and physical capabilities. I will take notes during our conversation, closely follow all directions, and send you as many pet pics as you need!

About: Newly retired and available to care for your fur baby in my home or yours. I know how important it is for pet parents to know that their babies are safe and well-cared for when they cannot be with them. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I've raised puppies and kittens and cared for senior pets. I have experience administering medications orally and injections. Come stay in our adult-only, quiet home. Our resident pup, Cash, loves other dogs. He is happy to share his fully fenced back yard, toys and treats. I am newly retired. That means I have the time to watch your pup or make drop in visits. I can keep your pup during the day and for overnight boarding in my home. Free time means I can manage any kind of walking or potty break schedule as needed. I can also reinforce any training for young or old pups while in my care. We have an adult household with one dog. Our dog is a wonderful host pup. He loves dogs and is not worried about sharing his space, toys or treats. Our backyard is fully fenced. We live in a very walkable area near parks. We have gates and crates on site so you won't have to bring those items.
