Pet care experience
When I was 12 I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society caring for and walking dogs of all ages and behavioral levels. I volunteered at the OHS until I turned 18 when I began working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, as well as pet-sitting. As a dog handler I spent time 1:1 time with dogs, distributing medication, and moderating large groups. Currently, I take many of those same dogs on weekly hikes, adventures, dog walks and work on basic obedience. As a dog owner myself, I participate in dog sports, service dog training and canine conditioning with my young dog and senior dog. Additionally, I am in the process of becoming a certified dog training (CPDT-KA) and certified behavioral adjustment trainer (CBATI-KA).

Raina has watched our two Bernese Mountian dogs on several occasions. We had her watch them when we were out of town for overnight trips. She kept us well informed on their status. She sent multiple photos showing how they were doing. She took them on walks. Kept them active. She spent the night in our home to ensure they were well cared for. She was easy to work with. She took care of the girls as we instructed her. I would recommend her for any of your dog sitting needs
We’ve known Raina for more than 15 years. Over the last several years, she has cared for our dogs whenever we travel, and honestly, I think they get more excited to see her than they do to see us come home. She has such a natural way with animals — loving, patient, attentive, and incredibly responsible. We never have to worry when we’re away because we know our dogs are not only being well cared for, but genuinely loved and spoiled a little too. She keeps us updated, treats our pets like her own, and always goes above and beyond. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pets.
Raina is the best! She has been dog walking, dog adventuring and dog sitting for our dog/s for 6 years. She is reliable, responsible a great communicator and amazing with animals. Sophie (our 5 year old golden retriever) gets so excited to see Raina (one of her most favorite humans) whether it be for a scheduled walk or a chance meeting. I highly recommend Raina for anyone looking for their pet!
