Chris also took them to the great dog parks nearby, and Judy had a great time exploring there as well. It was also nice that all the dogs got along, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. About: I can’t think of a time when I’ve been without a fur baby and currently have 2 cats but no dogs since my last dog passed away. I have enjoyed dog sitting for friends and family and actually feel a bit sad when it’s time for them to go home. I’ve taken couple of my previous dogs through obedience training and also agility training which was really fun. My dog friends really enjoy coming to my house to which their humans will testify! I am a retired nurse and spend a lot of time at home. I enjoy being outside, going for walks and working in my yard. My property is fenced but I always prefer to be outside with any dog I am caring for. When it’s for a potty break or playtime I will be out there also.

About: As a dog owner of my own for 8 years and growing up with pets, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets like they’re family. Thats me! I will care for your animals like they are my own and will always strive to give them a positive encounter. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies (around 3 weeks old and up). I know sometimes extra care is needed and will always prioritize their comfort and well being. Additionally, I am good with shy and/or skittish dogs and know how to help them feel safe while showing them I am trustworthy and gentle. My experience with cats is about 10 years. I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is a thriving child of divorce and is with her Dad until August. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.

She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

About: I’m a work from home PhD student with one dog and one cat. I’d love to board or day care your doggo. I will be home with your dog for their entire stay. I’ll treat your dog as my own: giving them frequent potty breaks, a daily long walk, and lots of scritches. My Pom Ellie would love to have a friend who visits! I have several rooms and can separate your dog for meals, if needed. My dog is very much a food-hunter so our home is kept safe from doggies getting in to anything not meant for them. I only sit one dog at a time. You’ll get lots of photos and updates! 🤍 I run a business that is fully online from my home, and I am also a PhD student. So, I am always home and will be with your dog unless I have to run an errand. We take one longer walk per day and have many potty breaks otherwise (every 2-4 hours). Meals will happen on the schedule you describe. I have a Pomeranian here but she can be separated if your dog has special eating needs. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and in bed. Lots of toys around and my Pom will be so happy to have a friend to play with.

About: As a former National Park Service employee of ten years I’m basically hardwired to love the outdoors and animals, and spending time with animals in the outdoors! I’ve pet sit cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, and abilities for friends, family, and coworkers. “Josh is a true dog lover and dogs know it immediately. He has twice watched our Boston Terrier, once in the form of visits to our house when a new pup, and most recently overnight at Josh’s house for almost a week. In both cases Doc had a wonderful time and was well cared for.”
