My schedule is very flexible and I am able to do walks, drop-ins and sittings on both weekdays and weekends. During housesitting, I commit to not leaving for more than 4 hours at a time to make sure the animals are getting the attention they deserve! I like to get out hiking and would love to bring another dog along!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I can account for. I love dogs of all sizes, but it is particularly important to me that especially large dogs are leash trained and have limited reactivity to outside stimuli.
A typical day
I love hanging out outside (even in the rain!) and am always happy to go for multiple walks a day, as I do with my own little guy. Hiking and hanging out in parks happen regularly! I’m also a professional tennis ball tosser and toy tugger (when appropriate). But probably my favorite thing is to snuggle and give pets :)

Pet care experience
After 20 years of teaching, I am grateful to Rover for providing me an opportunity to take a break and continue doing work I love! I have decades of experience in pet care including 5 years as a boarding specialist at a popular vet. I’ve done pet sitting, walks and care off and on for over 20 years. On the personal side, I’ve raised/co-parented more than 10 dogs and nearly as many cats. I adore animals and am thrilled to have this chance to get to know many more!

Jenny took such great care of our dog, was super communicative and accommodating, washed the sheets and emptied the trash before she left, and really hit it out of the park!
Jenny took good care of Belle and the house was clean and organized when we got home. Two things that could have been better- walks every day as agreed upon (even if it was rainy) and more pictures and proactive updates during the stay.
Jenny adjusted quickly to our cat's abrupt need for multiple medications right before we left on a trip to visit family. She did a great job looking after both cats while we were gone :)
Jenny put out minds at ease with our pup! She went the extra mile with taking him on walks, playing, and cleaning up accidents and was very communicative throughout.
