About: My most recent animal care experience is from my current Veterinary Hospital Assistant job. This year, I also worked as a Temporary Kennel Technician and volunteered at One Tail At A Time in Portland. I’ve gained experience safely handling animals with different personalities, monitoring behavior, administering medications, and helping maintain a clean and safe environment for both animals and people. I also completed Dog and Cat First Aid Training through American Red Cross. I currently have a full-time job as a Veterinary Hospital Assistant. My work schedule is not consistent right now, but will be eventually. For now I will be updating my calendar frequently to show my days off that I am available for hire on Rover. I will send consistent updates, photos, and stick closely to your pet's routine so they feel safe and comfortable. About: I’ve worked in both veterinary and child care. At the vet clinic, I worked with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve been taking care of my family’s dogs since I was small, and babysitting kids since I was a kid myself. I’ve been pet sitting for friends since 2017. I share my home with a greyhound, a bearded dragon, and a teenager. ;) I’ve undergone extensive background checks due to my current job. I work remote so I can do visits during lunch hour and after 5 pm. I have scattered availability during other times of the day, so let me know if you need a different time! :) I can shuffle my breaks accordingly. I would be open to hosting a dog (less than 30 lbs) in my home for doggy day care if they are a good fit with my dog. I have lots of openings on the weekends unless I’m traveling. In your home, I will be respectful of all house rules. Let me know what your pet likes to do and we will do that. :) I will adhere to whatever feeding and care instructions you set. I don’t care for client’s pets in my home.

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born, always finding a comfort in them and I think them in me. I am very patient and calm, and I understand how to handle high maintenance pets. I am currently living at my childhood home working odd jobs while I save up cash to travel and eventually move to San Francisco. I have a very flexible schedule with little other commitments right now. My childhood dog recently passed on so I am missing the animal life a bit. I've spent 14 years caring for dogs of every size and temperament — from high-energy puppies who need structure to older dogs who just want a calm, steady presence. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, oral medication, leash walks, and playtime, and I treat every dog in my care like my own. Reliable, patient, and genuinely happiest with a dog by my side.
