About: Hello fellow canine friends and their owners! Hehe. My name is August and I’m currently between building a business and seeing clients as a therapist. I have lots of patience especially for the fur babies of the world. I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember and they have been my best friends ever since. I currently own two senior chihuahuas, Charlie (age 19), and Lily (age 14). I have a soft spot for senior pups but I truly love all dogs. My schedule is very flexible at the moment and can spend as much time with your dog as needed. I look forward to connecting with you and your pup! I work part time and I set my own schedule every week. I’m available Monday-Friday with some time restraints on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!

About: Being Deaf myself, body language is a major source of communication. Dogs are constantly communicating and I’ve spent a lot time learning how they communicate. My mission is to help them always feel heard and safe. I have experience with mostly smaller dogs under 15lbs and love checking out new Parks together. I’m always home 24/7 unless we head to the park or their favorite doggy treat store! My place is set up for small dogs, stairs to the main bed, water bowl, their own bed , a crate if needed, we have pee pads set around but Also we go out for potty time. I have a gated garden downstairs & a gated yard I rent just a few steps away from my apt. My studio is small which is why we go outside quite often to enjoy the fresh air!

About: I’ve worked in both veterinary and child care. At the vet clinic, I worked with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve been taking care of my family’s dogs since I was small, and babysitting kids since I was a kid myself. I’ve been pet sitting for friends since 2017. I share my home with a greyhound, a bearded dragon, and a teenager. ;) I’ve undergone extensive background checks due to my current job. I work remote so I can do visits during lunch hour and after 5 pm. I have scattered availability during other times of the day, so let me know if you need a different time! :) I can shuffle my breaks accordingly. I would be open to hosting a dog (less than 30 lbs) in my home for doggy day care if they are a good fit with my dog. I have lots of openings on the weekends unless I’m traveling. In your home, I will be respectful of all house rules. Let me know what your pet likes to do and we will do that. :) I will adhere to whatever feeding and care instructions you set. I don’t care for client’s pets in my home.

About: I am a WFH current federal employee working for US DOT. I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer with prior experience as a Veterinary Technician. I've had dogs my whole life with a need to pet every dog I walk past on the street. I am a big runner and am always asking to borrow my friends' dogs for runs. I enjoying running, hiking, playing soccer and ultimate frisbee. I've been house sitting for friends and family members since I was 18. I'm responsible, clean and respectful. My main reason for joining Rover is simply because I love dogs and pets and want to spend more time around great animals. I can provide references on request. Morning walks help me start the day energized and focused, while midday breaks for feeding, playtime, or quick walks give me a chance to reset and recharge. I have a small fenced patio where your dog can lay in the sun or enjoy the fresh air. In my home, I allow pets on the furniture and my bed.

About: I am an animal lover through and through. I’ve had pets throughout my entire life including 7 dogs, 3 hamsters, and 5 cats. I have pet sit for friends and family countless times and volunteered at my local Humane Society animal shelter. I also have lots of experience administering medicine to both cats and dogs. I work an event-based job with a very flexible schedule, so I have an abundance of spare time to block out for caring for your pet. I will pay close attention to your pet's likes, dislikes, tendencies, and triggers. I know it can be scary for some pets to be away from their owners, thus I believe being knowledgeable about their behaviors will help me connect with them and give them the best care possible.
