About: I have always been told I have a special touch with animals. When you’re away you want more than a pet sitter, you want your best friend to get some quality time! I work four days a week, and outside of that I have a very flexible schedule with no other major commitments, so I’m able to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, not just something I fit in, which means I’m present, attentive, and happy to adjust my day around what each pet needs to feel comfortable and cared for. I provide attentive, reliable care in your home by keeping your pet’s routine consistent and stress free. I’m great at following directions, and have a lot to offer when it comes to companionship, playtime, and a calm presence. For dog walks, I can accommodate your dog’s needs surrounding exercise, enrichment, and safety. I also send regular updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I've always been the designated pet sitter for my family and neighbors, as a longtime animal lover, and I'm missing my own family pets as I'm away finishing my teaching degree :( But a good friend recommended this app to recharge my animal companionship battery, haha!! They've been a sitter/walker on here for a long time and thought it would be a good experience for me, as well :) I'm currently completing the last of my degree and application for my Oregon teaching license, so I have a lot of time in the day to give, and would very much appreciate having a fur buddy to share my daily walks with or stop by your place to make sure they've got food, water, potty time, etc! I'm very familiar with crates used by family's dogs (shiba inu and doberman who both need "their own space," haha-- divas!!) or anything else they may need. I'm also familiar with administering medicine whether in tablet or liquid form.

About: Newly retired and available to care for your fur baby in my home or yours. I know how important it is for pet parents to know that their babies are safe and well-cared for when they cannot be with them. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I've raised puppies and kittens and cared for senior pets. I have experience administering medications orally and injections. Come stay in our adult-only, quiet home. Our resident pup, Cash, loves other dogs. He is happy to share his fully fenced back yard, toys and treats. I am newly retired. That means I have the time to watch your pup or make drop in visits. I can keep your pup during the day and for overnight boarding in my home. Free time means I can manage any kind of walking or potty break schedule as needed. I can also reinforce any training for young or old pups while in my care. We have an adult household with one dog. Our dog is a wonderful host pup. He loves dogs and is not worried about sharing his space, toys or treats. Our backyard is fully fenced. We live in a very walkable area near parks. We have gates and crates on site so you won't have to bring those items.

Note: I provide the walk-only service exclusively in the Kenton neighborhood. Thank you!) I have owned dogs most of my life and spent my adolescence on a small family farm. I love dogsitting and live really near North Portland VCA should there ever be an emergency. If your dog is a good leash walker, they'll get at least two walks per day; otherwise, we'll see how it goes! There is opportunity for backyard play, but I depend on walking to ensure dogs get the movement they need. There are no pets in my house at this time, so as long as your dog gets along with people, the relationships should be OK! No chewers, please; I do not close crate doors. I am a retired teacher, so I am mostly home but do go out for a variety of reasons during the day or evening sometimes. I have a fenced yard and spend lots of time in it with dogs during decent weather. If your very big dog is non-reactive, I would love to host your very big dog. 🐶 (I do not board puppies but do walk puppies. Just please do not ask me to close the door on a crate.) Please ensure your dog is flea-free.
