About: I come from a very large family (7 sisters 3 brothers) and we grew up with dogs, cats and other animals my entire life. I’ve also had my own dogs and cats as an adult and do pet sitting for my mom and siblings Currently looking for employment so I have a lot of free time ( will update once that changes). Recently moved to Portland and don’t have any pets currently to take up my time. I follow client care instructions to the letter. I love taking walks and exploring the city so I’ll make sure your dog has been worked out if they have a lot of energy. Taking care of animals for so long I feel that I am very emotionally intelligent in how I interact with any pet.

About: Hi there! I have been a life long lover of any type of animal. I have cat and dog sit here and there for family and friends over the years and love to create bonds with new fur babies. After much thought I recently adopted one of my own and it has been a fun adventure filled with ebbs and flows as I had imagined. I’m a very active individual and find great joy in teaching and being patient and present with the fur babies of the world. All of them are different with their own needs and personalities - but I find great joy untangling that and developing a relationship with them all. Shoot me a message and I so very much look forward to meeting you! I work a part time job and would love to fill my extra time with the fur babies of the area. I have several days completely free throughout the week and enjoy to go on hikes or the dog park in between errands and such. Every dog and cat are different. In my home I have a very friendly and playful dog that loves to go hang out with his buddies at the dog park. When I am out of the house he does stay in the cage but in a way it is his little house within our house. If your pup is friendly with other dogs we can have them meet but otherwise I will solely focus on caring for your baby. I also have a kitty that is very particular and will likely hide with other guests in the house but he has shown great improvements. He warms up just slowly.

About: I’ve loved pets my entire life. After many years with many beloved cats, my family finally got a dog and the rest is history. I have walked, fed, bathed and loved all different sorts of dogs and cats and have been trusted time and time again with friends’, families’, and strangers’ pets. I would love to lend my experience to you and your family. I work remotely from 8-5 and have a flexible schedule during that time so am free to drop in throughout the day and work from anywhere! I'm patient, detail oriented, and conscientious about food and medical needs. I want your pals to have a great experience in my care! My schedule is consistent and predictable, so I can tell you exactly when I'm available and make sure we'll be a good fit. I occasionally work nights, but never overnight. I have full respect for the safety of your pets, and your home. I am alert and aware of our surroundings on walks, and am comfortable with any security measures I am asked to take for the pets' (and their home's) best interest.

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up spending lots of time on farms; horseback riding and caring for all sorts of critters. For several years I worked at a couple of different animal rescue organizations back home in California, where I looked after many dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc, all from different backgrounds and with different needs. I am also a bit of a houseplant collector, so I am happy to take care of any plant needs you may have while away :) I am an appointment based nail tech, so I don’t have a very regular schedule. I rarely take more than a few appointments a week at the moment, so my availability is very open. Any appointments I do have are usually between 1-4 hours max, and I do my best to schedule around my animal clients needs :) I have always had a deep love for animals. I have been lucky to grow up learning to care for and love many different animals; from house cats to horses. I have learned to be responsible, dedicated, and patient with every animal, and I understand that every animal has their own needs and preferences. Safety, transparency, and trust are very important to me and I put a lot of care into my work. I also will always put effort into leaving your house as clean if not cleaner than when I arrived! I want your time away from your furry family member to be as stress free as possible.

About: Hi! I'm Rosilynn. I live in Portland and love being outside. I was a dog mom for 13 years, and sadly... my sweet Strudel passed away last year. He lived a beautiful, happy, and long life. Even though I'm not ready to have another dog of my own, I so miss being around furry friends. Which is why I started Rover. I love dogs with all my heart. I love walking them, spoiling them, and making sure they're having the best day ever. I raised Strudel from a puppy to a senior, so I'm familiar with frequent potty breaks, medications, looking for glass on the sidewalk... all the dog mom things! Your precious will be loved and looked after in my home. I work from home so I will be with them most of the time. And if you'd like, I'm happy to bring them around the city with me. They'll get as many walks as they want. We can spend time at the park, get treats along the way, and anything their heart (with your permission) desires. They'll also feel like they're on vacation! Please note ** I dog sit part time because I love dogs and I enjoy this :) I also travel frequently so as of now I am unable to commit to consistent and recurring weekly needs. When I am in Portland, I am happy to pet sit! I work from home so I am able to stay with them for most of the time. If you're comfortable with it, I'm happy to bring them around if/when I run errands. I will take them out whenever they need in the morning and can accomodate almost all potty schedules. I usually walk 3+ miles a day, so I'm happy to bring them along if they will enjoy that distance! Please note ** I dog sit part time because I love dogs and I enjoy this :) I also travel frequently so as of now I am unable to commit to consistent and recurring weekly needs. When I am in Portland, I am happy to pet sit! I live in an apartment but go outside often. I am always looking out to avoid any glass on the sidewalk, I have never run into that problem, but just in case. And double checking their leash/harness is on correctly. I can also cross the sidewalk if they are not friendly with other dogs, I will always approach other dogs with caution for their safety.

About: As a dog owner of my own for 8 years and growing up with pets, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets like they’re family. Thats me! I will care for your animals like they are my own and will always strive to give them a positive encounter. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies (around 3 weeks old and up). I know sometimes extra care is needed and will always prioritize their comfort and well being. Additionally, I am good with shy and/or skittish dogs and know how to help them feel safe while showing them I am trustworthy and gentle. My experience with cats is about 10 years. I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is an 8 year old mixed breed with a generally chill demeanor. She is gentle with puppies, plays well with other dogs, and is also keen for quiet time. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.
