About: From growing up around dogs to walking/pet sitting as I got older, pets have always been a bit part of my life. I have pet sit many types of breeds, from Chihuahuas to German Shepards, and have administered treatment to senior dogs with attention and care. I enjoy being around dogs, playing with them, giving them attention, and adhering to any training you might be working on! I have open availability to walk or petsit your fur baby. I’m available for short or long term sitting, and am available during the week for walks. Understanding your pet’s needs within your home is very important to me, and I take care to write down important numbers, medications, and routines. I want to make your pet’s experience as safe and happy as possible while you are away!
“Mat was super great to work with. I dog Jackson really liked him and enjoyed their daily walks together while I was out of town. Mat was super responsive and sent lots of great pictures about his adventures with Jackson. Will definitely use him again in the future.”

“Lo is a lifesaver! She is consistently on time, professional, and flexible with my schedule. Not only is she very communicative, but most importantly, My pup loves when she arrives to take him on his regular walks. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have had cats and dogs in my home since the age of 11 and have loved everyone. My childhood dog passed in 2023, around the time I moved from the East Coast (Maryland). My Gracie girl was a rescue and required extra attention during thunderstorms and other anxious situations. Near the end when mobility slowed, we made sure to give her the best, wagons rides and stair carries to spend as mmuch time as possible. I also used to take care of my sisters cat when he got sick with FIP. This included giving him two shots daily for ~3ish months and getting him back to being a healthy boy. He has since moved with my sister and my fiancee and I moved to Portland with our own two cats. I would love the opportunity to take care and spend some time with your puppy or kitty! I work remote full time and besides some scheduled meetings, I am able to provide morning and afternoon pet care in and around the Portland area during weekdays. I live with two cats that my partner and I pretend are our children. Feeding, scooping litter, playing, cuddling are all part of the daily routine and something I would look forward to providing your pet. I am also able to walk dogs or complete check-ins.

About: Physically fit and can walk as much as needed up 4-5 miles. Love going for quick run with them. I have a cat. Very patient with cats, good understanding of cat nature. I think I’m genuine with pets and they sense my love and care! As pets are extremely good sensing emotions. Looking to invest to vet courses and vet licensing in future. Currently retired from trucking (unemployed), pretty flexible with my schedule. Really enjoying some vacation time, taking time finding job I love. But I’m pretty active so need those walks! Feed my cat every morning, play with her during the day we’ve got bunch of toys of hers. Get cuddly in times whenever she feel like cuddly.
“Delaney was a calm understanding individual. Although our Esther gets excited and hyper. She knew what to do and off they went. Esther came back tired and happy.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on, long-term experience with dogs at every life stage. I’ve raised two dogs from puppies, so I’m comfortable with training basics, routines, and the extra patience puppies need. I also have a 13-year-old senior dog who has lived with epilepsy for the past 11 years, and I’ve been responsible for both daily and emergency medication throughout that time. Because of this, I’m very attentive, calm in stressful situations, and experienced with senior care, special needs, and medication schedules. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I work part time and have a flexible schedule. I’m mostly open to walking/caring for dogs during the week, Monday - Friday but can sometimes walk on evenings or weekends. I care for pets by following the owner’s routines closely so they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I take time to understand each pet’s needs, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any behavioral cues. I keep the home secure, maintain a clean environment, and provide regular updates with photos or messages so owners feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: We don't deserve dogs. They give affection and trust without reservation. For that, they get special care. It's a precious and rare gift. Gratitude and respect given. But...boundaries. I happily retired last year and considered dog day care or boarding businesses. For now, I like the idea of caring for pets in their natural environment. I have experience with horses and goats. I also pet and house sit in the Hawaiian islands as well as the American Southwest. I don't have a home arrangement where I can normally care for a pet however I will entertain special circumstances if an unusual situation occurs.
“My dog Nesta loves her walks with Kayla! She’s reliable and so kind to my girl while I’m at work. I will absolutely keep using her as our dog walker, so long as she’ll have us 💗🐕🐾”

“Jourdan was so amazing! She was quick to respond, took the time to do a m&g before a week of lunchtime walks, sent detailed 'report cards', and went out of her way to make sure Cujo had fun and was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend and book with her again - thank you, Jourdan!”

About: I’ve always lived with dogs of various sizes and have to care for puppies all the way to elderly pets. I’m confident with temperamental dogs and have the experience to de-escalate if needed. I hope to provide a consistent face to your animals! I am available full-time to care for all your pet needs. I am available for walks or dog-sitting during the week and weekends. I would love to be a consistent walker for your fuzzy friends! I am only able to care for your pets at the clients home and hope this will provide more comfort for your animals. I have experience in crate training, and can push forward any training in progress.
“Kai took great care of my 2 dogs! Took them on a nice long walk, and made sure they had everything they needed. Also, he was able to book on very short notice! Would definitely book another walk with Kai for next time.”

“Ava is professional, accommodating, and caring. She is an excellent communicator and has a great understanding of our pup’s behavioral cues. Our pup came back happily tired from the walk.”

“Evita was very sweet with our dog Leia. Leia really loved going on walks with her. Evita also responded to our dog walking request very promptly and on very short notice, which was very helpful as we had an unexpected situation come up!”
Eliot dog parents share their Rover experiences
Carlie has been really awesome with dog walking for my pup, Gus, during the work day. Gus is reactive towards other 4-legged creatures, and Carlie has been doing a great job with giving him quality walks while managing their encounters with others. Carlie has also been consistent time-wise and reliable so far.

Raven is awesome! She came to meet our pups same day and we booked her for the following two weeks and will continue to utilize her service. Raven sent pictures each day with notes about how the pups did and activities she engaged them with, such as sitting when strollers or runners went by and stopping before crossing the streets. Raven is reliable and friendly and most important we feel great about leaving our two pups in her care.
