“Annika, John, and Pepper were great with our pup Lemon. She’s very shy and takes a little bit to warm up, but she was cuddling with them in no time. They were very communicative and sent us updates so we were never worried. And Pepper is a perfect, well behaved playmate. :)”

“Amber provided excellent care. Otis had a great time! We wanted Otis to experience more socialization with other dogs and he had two days of fun and playing with Amber and her family. Her location is perfect for travel out of PDX.”

“I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about Marie!! We’ve used multiple sitters on Rover before, and she is in a league of her own. She went so far above and beyond—sending tons of photos and videos, keeping our home spotless, and even helping set up a water fountain and troubleshoot our cats’ picky eating habits. It’s clear she genuinely cares. Most importantly, she loved our cats like they were her own, and that meant everything to us. She was truly an angel and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had her. Perfect for high energy dogs - Eliot
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: Grew up with pitbulls and cats in the house. I really enjoy being around them and they fit into my daily/weekly schedule extremely well. Im never away from the house for more than 4 hours and I walk for 1-3 hours everyday, I have the time to consistently walk the doggies 3-5x everyday. No dog will go without exercise when they stay with me, and if they like to be a couch potato that's ok too, I accommodate to any activity/energy level!
“Christopher was great! He was easy to communicate with and gave Change lots of great walks and burned out a lot of his energy. Would definitely recommend and book with him again when in Portland.”

“Evita was incredible! She watched Miso while I had a 12hr shift at work, and was extremely accommodating with drop off and pick up time. She sent lots of updates and was very understanding when my nervous dog wouldn’t stop barking in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Leah was great. I had to leave my 8 week old puppy with a sitter in an emergency, and Leah was very communicative, kind, and generous. She met me right outside her building so we had no trouble finding her. We sat and chatted for a bit inside before I left for the day, so I felt comfortable before heading out. She even gave Frankie a new stuffed animal that he now can't sleep without because he loves it so much. She sent multiple texts and pictures while I was away, so I felt secure that Frankie was safe and sound.”

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter! She was incredibly kind to my dog! Her two dogs were adorable and were great for nervous, first time in someone else’s home dogs (my dog). She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

“Storm takes a bit of time to get comfortable in new environments with new people, but she seemed to settle in easily with Gil and Peaches! We are so thankful they are patient with her separation anxiety and welcome her on daycare days!”

“Took my 3 year old female GSD to Allen’s for daycare and had a good first time experience. Got to meet the other dogs and see her interact with them. Lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which really helps you feel at ease for a first time drop off. Good to know the dogs are running around getting their exercise. We plan to continue using Allen’s services.”

“Sheung is a very trustworthy and kind person! Mochi was under great care. He went on an amazing walk under the cherry blossoms, he played outdoors and was no doubt a very happy dog when we picked him up. She’s also located very close to an enclosed dog park so that’s a bonus. Sheung is Number One!”

“For our pup’s first doggy day care, Bryan took good care of him and helped out on short notice. He’s friendly, on time, and gave a full report on drop off. Will definitely book again.”

“Serena is great! I love that whenever I leave Theo in her care, I know he’s going to get nice and tired playing with Nugget, and I appreciate the updates I get throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend and we will keep coming to Serena!”

About: Hi! I’m a full-time animal lover offering boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog and a calm, confident cat who are both very used to being around other animals. They help create a relaxed, safe environment for visiting pets. I treat every pet like my own—whether that means playtime, walks, or just giving them a calm space to relax. I’m attentive, patient, and always focused on making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m happy to accommodate different energy levels and personalities, and I can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone stays safe and stress-free. I’m currently building my client base, so I’m very flexible and available—including last-minute bookings. I’d love to meet you and your pet! I do pet sitting full-time, so I’m able to provide lots of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My schedule is very flexible, including availability for many last-minute bookings. I focus on creating a calm, structured, and stress-free environment where pets can settle in comfortably. I pay close attention to body language, routines, and individual needs to help every pet feel secure while they’re away from home. I can easily separate pets when needed and always prioritize safe introductions, supervision, and a clean environment. I also have a fully fenced in backyard.
“Emily did a great job watching our 9 month old lab, Bruno, for the day while we had out of town guests. She is so calm, friendly and professional, I knew he would be in good hands. There was one other playful dog staying with her and Bruno had a great time, while Emily's 11 year old Lab, Lola, sweetly watched over the proceedings. Bruno came home tired and happy, and we got to enjoy a day out with visiting friends. I would highly recommend Emily, she is great!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Currently, I live with two of my own pets—a friendly and social labradoodle named Café and a sweet, independent black cat. Through caring for them, I’ve developed a strong routine that includes natural feeding, regular grooming, daily dental care, and lots of physical and mental stimulation. I walk Kafae several times a day, and we enjoy outdoor adventures like hikes, beach trips, and visits to local parks and dog-friendly spaces like Sandy River Delta. I cook his meals using natural, whole ingredients and keep up with monthly grooming, as well as daily ear and teeth cleaning. Beyond my own pets, I’ve provided pet care for friends, family, and neighbors—offering everything from overnight stays to drop-in visits and daily walks. I’m confident managing different temperaments, administering medication (oral/topical), and adjusting to special dietary or behavioral needs. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and respect I give my own. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal—and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is always to make both you and your pet feel safe, understood, and cared for. Tips are much appreciated. I donate 10% of my income from each stay to support animals at the Oregon Humane Society. Pet care is a natural and essential part of my everyday life. I care for my own labradoodle, Café, and black cat every single day, so my routine is already built around providing consistent, loving, and attentive care. Each day includes multiple walks, feeding nutritious meals (I cook Café’s food using whole, natural ingredients), daily grooming habits like teeth and ear cleaning, and plenty of playtime and affection. I also make time for regular outings—whether it’s the beach, the Sunday River Delta, hiking trails, or the dog park—so staying active and keeping pets engaged is part of my lifestyle, not an add-on. When I’m caring for other pets, I simply fold them into this rhythm and adapt to their needs and preferences. I enjoy the structure and joy pets bring into my day, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to ensure each pet gets the attention, care, and love they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of attention and structure. Pets stay in a calm, pet-friendly space with my own friendly labradoodle, Café, and a quiet, respectful black cat. I follow each pet’s specific feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, and I include them in our daily routine—morning and evening walks, playtime, naps, and enrichment activities like fetch, hikes, or beach trips. I also provide daily updates and photos for peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their regular routine as closely as possible. I respect your space, keep it clean, and make sure your pet feels safe and secure in their familiar environment. I’m attentive to details—feeding, walking, administering medications, and making sure they get plenty of love and companionship. I keep communication open with daily updates, and I’m happy to handle extras like mail, light tidying, or plant care if needed. Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I bring patience, consistency, and genuine care to every visit.

“Ronnie was amazing with our 10 month old pup! This was our first time using Ronnie and will for sure be a repeat customer. Our pup was so happy and tired afyer his fun day with the pack! Thanks!”

About: Growing up I always had animals, especially dogs and cats! I absolutely adored each and every one. I love animals of all sizes, and treat mine like my children. I will give your baby all the attention, snuggles, and love they want. I have many years of experience in caring for dogs and cats, and would love to spoil and care for yours just as I do mine! :) I work through out the week so during that time I have limited availability but I am flexible for drop-in’s most evenings and early mornings. I am completely available Friday through Sunday. I will keep a close eye on your baby and make sure to the best of my ability they’re safe at all times! If you have a certain schedule or routine for your babe I am happy to keep them on that as well. “Kai took great care of my 2 dogs! Took them on a nice long walk, and made sure they had everything they needed. Also, he was able to book on very short notice! Would definitely book another walk with Kai for next time.”

About: Owner of English Lab for 5.5 years and she is my World. Got her at 3 months. Life Changer. She makes everyone around her (me included) feel like the most important person in the World. I also grew up with an American Lab which I cared and loved for, for 13yrs. My family got her when she was just a puppy at a year old (I was 13) and she lived to be 13yrs when she passed (I was 26). She is the reason I started to really love dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society quite a bit over the past 5yrs That has been a very rewarding experience. I currently work Fridays-Mondays in the medical field and have a lot of free time on my days off. I usually take Millie, my Lab, for a 2hr walk in the surrounding neighborhoods and try to get her down to the river once a week to swim. It’s by far her favorite activity and she’s a master swimmer. I live in an apartment with my dog and care for her like a child. Because let’s be honest. She is a child. She gets whatever she needs and so will every dog I care for on a daily basis.
“Christopher was amazing and really helped me out when I was overwhelmed with work and needed my puppy to get some outside time. He's very communicative, reliable, professional and trustworthy. Highly recommend.”

“Had such a great experience with Young! He took direction very well and was communicative! It was our first time working with Young and he was so kind enough to come by a few days in advance to meet Yogi. He understood our goal on wanting to continue leash training with Yogi and was very attentive to that! I highly recommend and will definitely be utilizing Dissaya and Young’s services again!”

About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. Currently working a reduced amount with most of it being from home, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Free/flexible most hours, besides evening on the weekends(and even then, I could potentially work something out with enough time). I enjoy long walks and exercise, and love playing with animals, so I'm your guy if your dog needs a long walk or an hour of nothing but fetch. I grew up walking a stubborn 100+ lb. dog, so I know how to control them if they get a little too excited sometimes.
About: Hi ✨ I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of experience—from high-energy athletes to seniors requiring a gentler pace. Having lived with a sassy Shih Tzu and a spry Goldendoodle, I’ve learned that every pet has distinct needs that require a patient, observant eye. I believe the best walks come from maintaining the consistency of your dog’s established outdoor routine. Whether it’s navigating a favorite neighborhood route, practicing consistent leash manners, or ensuring they get the specific physical engagement they need, I’ll care for your pup with the same devotion I’d give my own. I’m a Product Designer currently taking a career break, which means I have the unique advantage of a completely flexible schedule. I can offer consistent, reliable morning or midday walks to keep your furry friends happy and stress-free while you’re busy. My schedule is always up-to-date, so you can rest assured that when you see a green light on my calendar, I am truly available and ready to prioritize your pet’s routine. I’m happy to stick to your pup's favorite neighborhood routes or head to a nearby local park if they prefer a bit more open space for their stroll. I’m an active walker and love ensuring they get the specific physical engagement they need to come home happy and exercised.
“Mathew did a fantastic job! Before his first walk with Aslan he took the time to come over to our house for a meet & greet. He brought a notebook to write down any instructions I gave him. On the day of the walk he checked in with me and left a very detailed report card with a lot of photos! I’d recommend Mathew to a friend and will definitely book him again!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and been involved in raising puppies for the Seeing Eye since I was 8 years old. I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes since then, and want to make sure your animals feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away. I am a contract worker, so if I’m available for a sitting that will typically be my top priority for the duration. I am a very active person and love to go for long walks or runs with more energetic animals, but also love a good stroll and snuggle with more relaxed pets. I keep a regular schedule during the duration of the stay to ensure your dog has structure while you’re away. The minimum amount I would visit is 3x a day, but I can increase the frequency and stay overnight as needed.
About: I have had cats and dogs in my home since the age of 11 and have loved everyone. My childhood dog passed in 2023, around the time I moved from the East Coast (Maryland). My Gracie girl was a rescue and required extra attention during thunderstorms and other anxious situations. Near the end when mobility slowed, we made sure to give her the best, wagons rides and stair carries to spend as mmuch time as possible. I also used to take care of my sisters cat when he got sick with FIP. This included giving him two shots daily for ~3ish months and getting him back to being a healthy boy. He has since moved with my sister and my fiancee and I moved to Portland with our own two cats. I would love the opportunity to take care and spend some time with your puppy or kitty! I work remote full time and besides some scheduled meetings, I am able to provide morning and afternoon pet care in and around the Portland area during weekdays. I live with two cats that my partner and I pretend are our children. Feeding, scooping litter, playing, cuddling are all part of the daily routine and something I would look forward to providing your pet. I am also able to walk dogs or complete check-ins.

At the moment, I'm free for the summer and available to give all my time to your fuzzy buddies! I start school on September 26th, and my schedule availability will change. However, until then I'm here at your beck and call for whatever your pet care needs may be! “Appreciated the superb communication, especially getting pictures of my happy pup, but all along every step of the way. This was the first time I left my dog overnight, and Kristopher made it a comfortable experience for me.”

“Veronica was great! Our dog Perla is 1 year old and very active and playful. She was kept busy with Veronicas two dogs for 12 days, which Perla seem to enjoy very much. Veronica is very knowledgeable about dogs and very patient. She kept us informed with pictures and videos. We will definitely use Veronica again.”

“Kristen did an excellent job of taking care of our dog. She sent pictures daily and our dog really enjoyed spending time with her dog! We would definitely go to Kristen again. Thanks Kristen!”

“Josh is a pro; I’ve been using different sitters for over ten years and it is obvious he know what he is doing. Booking was easy, quick responses, reassuring intro and tour, great pics while I was away, and flexible on after-hours pickup. I’ll definitely seek out Josh in the future and highly recommend him to anyone.”

“Dan took wonderful care of my two Labradors especially during a hot spell. He was undaunted about one of them being a 11 month puppy . I appreciated his care and attention to them.”

“Dahlia and her husband took wonderful care of Bo. He is a high energy dog and can be a bit talkative so it puts some folks off but Dahlia was fantastic and they took him on lots of walks and lots of play time. She sent me pictures multiple times a day and sent me updates which were lovely as one misses their friends when traveling. I will definitely be repeating services!!”

“What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. I loved her tree-lined neighborhood and the HUGE fenced backyard available for my little pupper to play. I've decided Marybeth's the one to trust with my little pup, Mia.”

“Christopher has a great yard for dogs to play in and I enjoyed the photos and videos he sent during our dog's stay with him. He seems insightful of dogs' communication and was able to handle our dog's protectiveness around meal times. I really appreciated Chris' communication and that there weren't a lot of other dogs there at the same time so I didn't have to worry about unknown dog group dynamics. I will gladly book with him again in the future.”

“Zack was amazing! Watched Watson from Sat-Tuesday and kept him happy, safe, and well cared for. This was my first time using Rover and I'm glad we found a reliable sitter on the first try. I definitely recommend him!”

“My dog had an awesome time with Brittany and I would definitely seek her services out again. I have a German Shepard/cattle dog mix so she needs a lot of attention and playtime and Brittany handled her perfectly. She’s very communicative throughout the entire process.”

“As always, Jax came home happy and tired. He knows when we are in Allen’s neighborhood for the drop off and starts getting excited. He doesn’t even look back when we say goodbye. We are so grateful we found Allen.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Madeline and highly recommend her! She took great care of our dog, Jayda, during a stressful time for our family and made the whole process so much easier. Madeline was communicative and sent regular updates with photos, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. It was clear that she took the time to get to know Jayda and made sure she felt comfortable and cared for. We’re so grateful for her kindness and would absolutely trust her again in the future! Thank you so much, Madeline!”
