“I was very pleased with Fin who kept me updated about Blackjack. He had a couple of issues that concerned Fin regarding his digestive system. I reassured her that sometimes he does have challenges. He was fine the first seven days so likely stressed with the number of days he was at Fin’s home. Fin sent a number of photos that showed Blackjack was totally enjoying himself! I highly recommend Fin as a Dogsitter. Her backyard is a great place for dogs to hang out as is her home. I was impressed by the fact that she walked the dogs twice a day and also only takes one dog at a time.! Fin works from home so Blackjack got constant attention!”

She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”
About: I have always had a dogs in my life. I went from growing up with dogs to getting my own dogs when I went off to college. They have been with me since up until recently when we had to put our dog penny down at age 16. Suddenly I find myself without a dog and it is very lonely, but I am not ready for a new permanent addition, so I am hoping to pet sit to still have dogs in my life. My husband and I both work from home, so we are around to give pets love and attention throughout the day. We do have 2 young children so it is important to us that your pet loves kids or is at least used to kids. We recently had to put our two elderly dogs down (14 and 16) so we really miss having dogs around the house but are not ready for a new permanent pet yet, so we are very excited about dog sitting. We have a fenced backyard, we love going for walks, and our kids would love to spend hours playing fetch if that's something your dog enjoys.
About: I grew up taking care of family dogs and began sitting friends dogs before adopting my own pup, Scooby. I'd grown up with typically smaller and mid size dogs and sitting a large dog helped me realize how much I loved the gentle giants and rowdy ones. About: I grew up having and taking care of cats but also love dogs! I am very reliable and attentive. Happy to just drop in for walks or take care of animals for a more extended time. I currently work full time, but I always make time for what is important. Some days I work from home so my schedule is much more flexible and I can do more frequent drop-ins or overnight house/pet sitting. I am very good at following directions, so any instructions you leave for walks/feeding will be followed to a T. I don't board at my own house, but your house and pets will be treated with utmost respect while your pets are in my care.
