“My experience with Sandy was excellent!! It was my first time boarding my dog at Sandy. She welcomed me and my dog, and we had a chat about my dog. She showed me where my dog would be going to stay and introduced other dogs. On the first day, she sent me my dog's photo and a little observation report about my dog. This was very kind of her. I did not have to worry how my dog was doing at a new place with other dogs. She seems to be very attentive and has a great awareness about dogs (e.g., how old ones act differently, eye sight, sleeping, etc.). She takes care of dogs like taking care of human babies.”

I am a full-time freelancer, primarily in design and film, with pet care being my secondary gig. I typically make my own schedule and have long periods of open availability interspersed with intensely busy periods. You should know: because I live alone, my dog Teddy comes along on my overnight dog sitting bookings. He is very chill, respectful and easy tempered and I have never had a problem having him in other homes! At my place, I definitely let the pets rule the home and enjoy snoozing on the bed and couch. I do not have a fenced yard, so we will always be on leash for potty breaks in the back courtyard area or full walks. I typically do not do off leash dog parks until I have established trust with your dog, and feel strongly about strict safety rules for females in heat. In your home, I’ll defer to your rules!

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter! She was incredibly kind to my dog! Her two dogs were adorable and were great for nervous, first time in someone else’s home dogs (my dog). She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

About: Owner of English Lab for 5.5 years and she is my World. Got her at 3 months. Life Changer. She makes everyone around her (me included) feel like the most important person in the World. I also grew up with an American Lab which I cared and loved for, for 13yrs. My family got her when she was just a puppy at a year old (I was 13) and she lived to be 13yrs when she passed (I was 26). She is the reason I started to really love dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society quite a bit over the past 5yrs That has been a very rewarding experience. I currently work Fridays-Mondays in the medical field and have a lot of free time on my days off. I usually take Millie, my Lab, for a 2hr walk in the surrounding neighborhoods and try to get her down to the river once a week to swim. It’s by far her favorite activity and she’s a master swimmer. About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. Currently working a reduced amount with most of it being from home, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Free/flexible most hours, besides evening on the weekends(and even then, I could potentially work something out with enough time). I enjoy long walks and exercise, and love playing with animals, so I'm your guy if your dog needs a long walk or an hour of nothing but fetch. I grew up walking a stubborn 100+ lb. dog, so I know how to control them if they get a little too excited sometimes.

They were also very easy to communicate with, so friendly and very accommodating. We received the most amazing pictures of her while we were gone and also updates about her days & how she was doing. We know she was so well cared for and can’t wait for her to spend time with them again!”

“Our pup felt right at home at Amanda’s! She had all the toys and walks and snuggles a dog could want. And she had a blast (and got tuckered out) playing with Amanda’s dog, Ginger. Amanda is a sweet and caring dog person and we felt super safe with her caring for Duckie!”
“Breann did a great job. My dog has some sensitivities, but Breann ensured she was comfortable and safe. She asked good questions during our meet and greet, which demonstrated critical thought toward safety and adjusting her effort to each dog. Breann has other dogs, both of whom had different tolerances for play than my higher energy, large hound. She managed them together well. She provided us with frequent photo updates, and would have been available if we needed anything. I recommend booking with her.”

“When my husband and I were leaving on a two week trip, we were nervous about leaving our elderly pug with a sitter. We are so grateful to have found Lindsay! From the very beginning, she was very thorough in understanding our pug including his behaviors, medications, and feeding schedule. She was responsive throughout our trip and took away our stress when our return was rescheduled to be one day later than initially planned.
