“Nell is so wonderful and clearly so knowledgeable about pet care. You can tell she really loves animals. My anxious rescue pup adores her! Highly, highly recommend! I am so thankful I found her!”

About: As a pet parent to two dogs and a cat, I know firsthand how important it is to maintain a pet's daily routine in their own comfortable environment. Because I work from home, I bring my flexible schedule directly to you, providing dedicated sitting and drop-in care without leaving your pets alone for long hours. You can relax knowing your home will be respected and your animals will receive attentive companionship, regular exercise, and plenty of love. I'm currently working from home with a flexible schedule so I'll have plenty of time to care for your pets. I'm available weekends, most afternoons and evenings. I'll stick to your pet's routine in their own home, giving your fur baby the company/exercise they need and giving you peace of mind while you're away!
About: I am a music teacher and performer with a flexible schedule. I’ve taken care of pets big and small for family and friends. Everything from dogs and cats, to chickens, to hamsters and birds. I am especially fond of big dog breeds like shepherds and Pyrenees! I have experience and am down with everything from house sitting, feeding and checking in on, to walking or taking to the park. I am a music teacher and performer that loves kids and pets! My schedule is flexible and open for check-ins, walks, and house sitting. I have my own pets (dog, cat, chickens) that I love and care for, but I’ve also owned birds, fish, and hamsters. I treat your home and pets with the utmost respect, keeping your space secure by double-checking locks, arming alarms, and maintaining a discreet presence. To ensure your pet’s total safety, I use strict escape-prevention habits when entering, perform regular hazard sweeps for loose items, and meticulously follow all feeding or medication schedules. You will receive frequent photo updates and behavior reports during every visit so you always know they are happy and safe.
“Kay walked our dog twice a week for 2 months while she was in town and was very reliable and delightful to work with. And our dog loved her! Highly recommend her services.”

About: Helping Pets Feel Safe, Seen & Understood Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by everything from chickens and horses to dogs, cats, birds, and even rescued squirrels. Today I share my home with my charismatic black cat, Pippa, and caring for animals continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of my life. My approach is calm, observant, and deeply respectful of each animal's individual personality. Some pets want endless play, some need patience before they'll trust you, and others simply appreciate a quiet companion who understands their routine. Over time I've discovered that one of my greatest strengths is noticing the little things.. changes in behavior, energy, appetite, comfort, or mood that others might overlook. I enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and adapting my care to what helps them feel safest and happiest. Whether your companion is young and energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, my goal is always the same: to help them feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you're away. You'll receive thoughtful updates, photos, and open communication throughout every visit so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring hands. I look forward to meeting both you and your animal companion. 🐾 *Additional services* Over the years, I've developed experience as an animal communicator alongside my work caring for animals. While every visit above includes attentive, compassionate care and careful observation, some families are looking for a deeper level of support and connection with their companion. For those interested, I offer the following optional extended services, designed to complement—not replace—excellent veterinary care and your pet's regular routine. ✨ Animal Communication Session (+$20) Includes an additional 30 minutes solo with your pet (or with both you and your pet if you're home) beyond the scheduled visit. Following our session, you'll receive a detailed email or voice note sharing the observations, impressions, and intuitive insights I experienced during our time together. Many clients enjoy these sessions as a way to better understand their companion's unique personality, preferences, and emotional world. 🌿 End-of-Life Companion Support (+$25) Includes an additional 30-minute consultation with you and your pet alongside your scheduled drop-in visit. This service is designed to offer compassionate support during one of the most difficult chapters of loving an animal. Together we can discuss quality-of-life observations, your pet's changing needs, and any intuitive insights that may help bring greater clarity or peace during the process. While I am not a veterinarian and do not provide medical advice, I am honored to support you and your companion alongside your veterinary team's recommendations. If you're curious about either of these offerings or would like to know whether they're a good fit for your pet, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to answer questions and chat about what would best support you and your animal companion💕 My Current Schedule: I typically work 9a-5p Saturday-Tuesdays, with availability before or after those hours and open anytime Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. There's some flexibility with this schedule too so if there are needs outside what is listed please reach out and we can see if other hours would work too! What to Expect During Our Meet & Greet: My goal is to help your animal companion feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you're away. During our meet & greet, I'll take time to get to know both you and your pet. We'll go over their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite toys and activities, medications (if applicable), and any unique quirks or preferences that help them feel happy and secure. I pay close attention to each pet's individual personality and adapt my care accordingly, always meeting them where they are rather than expecting them to adjust to me. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and help me learn how I can provide the very best care for your companion.
“Kai took great care of my 2 dogs! Took them on a nice long walk, and made sure they had everything they needed. Also, he was able to book on very short notice! Would definitely book another walk with Kai for next time.”

About: I have owned several dogs throughout my life. Most recently a border/aussie mix , I called him border awesome for 14 years and he spent everyday with me until his passing. I currently help care for two golden retrievers. I have a safe and comfortable home with a yard. I can host or come to where service is needed the most. Open to young and old owners and pets. I feel dogs and animals can sense people the best, once your pet meets me, they will feel comfortable knowing I will care for them with love and respect! VIP Love Care! I'm currently working part-time and have some time that I can spare to help support you and your pets's needs with confidence. I can schedule ahead or possibly take care of last minute request that come up when available. Can be flexible on timing and weird work schedules. I have a multi-level house with a fenced in yard. I have a family of a 3 year old and wife, both dog lovers and open to hosting pets in our home. We have separate space and have gates if needed. Great neighbor park dog park and community for walks. Lots of fresh air, love , exercise etc. !! Can accommodate giving medications or tending to special diets/needs
“Lauren has walked my dogs for a week and done a great job. She has followed through with all the directions (especially all of the safety concerns- key back where it’s supposed to go and the gate latched on the fence). My dogs seemed very happy with Lauren, and she is very good about communicating.”

“Jenni is great. She has helped us get our high energy dog out for walks while we are at work. She is patient with our little pup, and he always seems happy on days they walk. She always takes great pictures of our dog, and is very communicative about what is going on with our dog. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Teryx loves Karly and her dog Nova. Karly has always been very dependable and gives us pertinent updates on Teryx’s behavior. We trust that she deeply cares for our dog and understands our needs as dog owners, too. We are lucky to have Karly to be around our dog regularly.”

“Jaclyn is awesome, she’s great with our dog Freddy who has a ton of energy and struggles with loose leash walking. Freddy is always super happy when she arrives and after he gets to spend some time with her!”

“Nick is the best! He’s reliable, kind, and our pup LOVES him. Looking forward to more walks soon. I can’t recommend Krissy and Nicholas highly enough!”

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

About: Hello! I love all animals of any form. I believe all animals deserve patience to get to know someone. I’m not afraid to be nipped a little to earn their trust. My style of pet sitting is matching the pet! I understand some animals prefer just lounging around and playing with toys inside, while others love running outside and going on long walks! I have fun doing both. In my lifetime, I’ve owned 4 dogs, 2 cats and 2 hamsters. I’ve done pet sitting for the past three years to make extra income for school. Trying out the Rover app to see if I can schedule more work! I currently am at work / school from M-F 12pm-5pm but don’t let this deter you! My office is pet friendly and I can bring along your pet with me (I request that they are potty trained). I’ll be free to pet sit at home / at your place out of office hours! There’s a little bit of flexibility in here, please reach out. I currently have no uncaged pets roaming around the house. Other than that, our house is free for your furry friend to roam with a two dog parks nearby. For housesitting, I follow all rules listed! If there are no rules, I’d let you know what my plans will be for the day! I always update with photos and videos, every 2-4 hours. You can also call me anytime I’m with your pet and see how they’re doing live. :)

About: Animals have always been my first love! I grew up in a house with a minimum of 2 big dogs at all times and now have my own golden retriever and pitbull/heeler shelter mix. I’ve volunteered with dogs at the Humane Society, rescued farm animals at a variety of animal sanctuaries, and love animals enough to have gotten a degree in Animal Law. I promise to care for your pets with the same love and kindness I do my own. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule so am happy to pop in and check on your pet or get them out for a walk during the work day. Safety and trust is truly the most important thing to me. I’ve used Rover before to find care for my dog and know how scary it can be to trust someone with someone as important as your pet. I’m extremely committed to listening to you and your pet’s needs, asking any follow up questions needed, and communicating with you throughout the whole process.
About: If you're looking for a petsitter that is communicative, responsive, patient, consistent, and experienced, you're at the right place! I have taken care of cats and dogs of all different personalities, sizes, and ages! I care about your pets and ensure that I offer the best service that I can. Before and after walks, I always make sure that your pets are hydrated. In my Rover cards, I provide detailed descriptions of my visit/stay with your pets! If you're working on training your pets, I'll update you on improvements and behavior. Rest assured, I've got you covered. I'm currently working part-time as I am also a remote designer. I aim to conduct visits/walks during the day with preference of weekdays - however, I can be flexible when need be! I always have a checklist for my visits to ensure that I've got all grounds covered especially if I am working with multiple pets in a visit. For multiple occasions, I've had to take care of 3 dogs/cats for a visit with different dietary plans and needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Foster Powell
I honestly wasn’t sure we’d ever enjoy walks with Georgie. He pulled constantly, got overstimulated really easily, and I felt like I had tried everything. Working with Chris has made such a huge difference. He took the time to explain what Georgie needed, showed us how to properly use the prong collar as a communication tool, and gave us things to work on between sessions. Within just a few weeks, Georgie was walking so much better. He’s more focused, calmer, and actually checks in with me instead of dragging me down the sidewalk. It’s made walks so much more enjoyable, and I feel like I understand my dog so much better now. If you’re on the fence, do it. I only wish we had started sooner!

I was apprehensive about using Rover, but I needed help during a recent work trip and hired Raphael. I'm glad I did. He was attentive, communicative, and accommodating with my schedule which included 3 walks per day, one of which was an hour. I would recommend working with Raphael to take care of your pets and for peace of mind. Thanks!

Tiana is absolutely wonderful!!! She’s communicative, pays attention to detail and is so in tune with Tilly. Tilly automatically felt comfortable around her and gets so excited when Tiana comes by. We appreciate her and she has made our life so much better with the kind care that she provides.

Lizette is great, she’s very trustworthy, friendly, punctual, very responsive and took great care of my Ellie. She followed all the instructions I sent her and made sure to send me lots of pictures on their walks which I really appreciate! I will book with her in the future for sure 🫶🏻 thank you Lizette
