Dear Pet Parents, I live in inner SE Portland and enjoy taking frequent walks to the many nearby parks and through the beautiful neighborhoods. I would love to offer my services to make sure your family pet gets the exersice and fresh air they need to be healthy and happy. I am happily offering my services for dog walking and drop in visits, primarily, with some overnights at the owners' home too. It would be an honor to provide care for your family pet. My first experience taking care of animals began with my family's Golden Retrievers, Taffy and Butterscotch, who were part of our family for 13 years. I loved taking them on long walks, being physically active and seeing how happy they were after a walk, it warmed my heart and motivated me. It was a responsibility that I enjoyed and loved. As a young adult, I dogsat and walked my sisters' dogs for them when out of town etc. One was a loving protective Rottweiler, and the other a sweet three legged Husky. Additionally, I helped care for a roommate's adorable Corgi, taking him on walks and watching him for the occasional overnight. I cared for a dear friend's cat, with drop in visits and some overnights too, while her kittie was requiring medication. Although, I do not have any family pets of my own right now I love animals and would love the opportunity to help care for yours. Best Wishes, Ursula F.
