About: I love spending time with pets and walking outside. I've taken care of dogs since childhood, and now I live between Laurelhurst and Mt Tabor, so there's no shortage of trails in the area. Let's go!! I'm currently taking a sabbatical after several years working in tech, so I am available for your pet at all hours of the day! Staying in their own home is much less stressful for your pet than a trip to a boarding facility. Allow me to help your pet stretch their legs! I also have many years experience administering medication to grumpy cats, through my own grump, Moe.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’m definitely not new to pet sitting! I’ve cared for cats and dogs across four continents through dog walking, daily visits, overnight stays, and house sitting. I’ve also fostered more than 20 cats and kittens with RSPCA Australia, sometimes caring for them for up to three months. This included administering medication, helping shy cats feel safe, and socializing kittens so they were ready for their new homes. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including seniors and pets with special routines, as long as you provide clear instructions. I’ve had a dog, cat, and rabbit of my own, and I genuinely love meeting new pets and discovering all their cute quirks, favorite routines, and preferred kinds of cuddles. As a redhead, I’m also delighted whenever I meet a dog or cat with matching golden-orange hair! I’m a homeschooling mom of two. For house sits, one or both of my children may occasionally enjoy joining me, but only with your prior approval. I’m equally happy to make other arrangements if you or your pet would prefer a quieter visit. I am certified in Cat and Dog First Aid by the American Red Cross I currently have very flexible availability throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated if my schedule changes. I’m happy to follow your pet’s established schedule for meals, walks, medication, playtime, and bedtime. Please tell me what makes your pet feel happiest and most secure! I know that every pet has a different personality and routine, and I’ll follow your instructions carefully. I take time to get to know each animal, respect their boundaries, and help shy or anxious pets become comfortable at their own pace. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications when clear directions are provided. I’ll also keep you updated so you can relax knowing your pet and home are being treated with care.

About: I've been around dogs a lot in my life, but I helped raise a puppy (healer lab mix) with my ex partner this year, and learned a ton about what it takes to keep a dog happy and take care of a challenging, high energy, and extremely cute pup. Can't personally adopt right now, so I'm looking to make furry friends through rover! I work remote/hybrid, work early mornings on weekdays so my afternoons are typically open/free. I'm busy on a lot of weekends but will accommodate jobs where I can! Happy to go on walks, dog park adventures, hikes, playing in the yard, will treat your best friend like my best friend! I don't have a yard so I'd have to use your space or a local park.

She has followed through with all the directions (especially all of the safety concerns- key back where it’s supposed to go and the gate latched on the fence). About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.
