About: I love spending time with pets and walking outside. I've taken care of dogs since childhood, and now I live between Laurelhurst and Mt Tabor, so there's no shortage of trails in the area. Let's go!! I'm currently taking a year-long sabbatical from a stressful job and training to hike the PCT, so I am available for your pet at almost all hours of the day! I typically hike a few times a week and may be gone for 4-8hrs, but this is flexible as your pets' schedule demands. My husband also works from home and can provide some extra attention and play. I'm a big fan of drop in and walks! I think staying in their own home is much less stressful for your pet. I am happy to offer a 15% discount if you book multiple drop ins per day (please inquire!). Currently, I am only boarding cats, as I have two cats of my own and occasionally foster. All guest kitties are kept separate.

About: I grew up around cats, dogs, birds, and more. I currently have two sweet sibling cats and one rambunctious dog. I've become close friends go-to for their pet sitting needs, and happily so. The most interesting (and adorable!) pets I have cared for are 4 excited ferrets, which included giving them morning and evening medications. I look forward to meeting your fur babies and taking as much care of them as I do for mine! I am currently between jobs and have plenty of time to care and play with your fur babies! I have my own vehicle so I am able to drive between homes or bring them where needed as possible such as parks, vets, etc. I am comfortable in aiding pets with anxiety and creating a welcoming and stress-free environment for them. I have experience in giving medicine and medical care.

About: Hi! I'm Ignacio, but I go by Nash. I grew up with a dog named Scotty in the Philippines, and pets have been part of my daily life ever since. I recently moved to Portland, and now I take care of my sister's five animals: three cats and two dogs. That means feeding on schedule twice a day, giving medication to Earl, our 16-year-old cat, twice a day, and plenty of yard time with our medium-sized dog Nova and Rumi, a small Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. Our cat Sebastian always tries to steal Earl's food, so feeding time takes some strategy to keep them both happy. I make it work. I'll send photos and updates so you know how your pet's day is going, and I always start with a meet and greet. It's the best way to know your pet is comfortable with me before you leave them in my care. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible, and I'm around during the day. That's a real advantage for house sitting, since your pet gets company for most of the day instead of an empty house. I'm available for overnight stays, and I can do walks or drop-ins most days with a bit of notice. I care for pets in your home, so my focus is keeping everything exactly as your pet expects it. I follow your feeding times, walk routes, and medication schedule, and I'll ask about house rules at the meet and greet, including which rooms are off-limits and what to do if something comes up. I'm comfortable giving oral medication to cats, and I'm used to dogs of most sizes, from a 16 lb terrier mix to a 45 lb Lab. If anything seems off with your pet, I'll reach out to you right away. We'll also go over your vet's contact info and what you'd want me to do in an emergency at the meet and greet, so there's a plan in place before it's ever needed.

She has followed through with all the directions (especially all of the safety concerns- key back where it’s supposed to go and the gate latched on the fence). My dogs seemed very happy with Lauren, and she is very good about communicating.”

About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover offering experienced, gentle care for cats and dogs. This includes anxious pets and those needing special attention or routines. I have a full time job, but I’m available weekends or after work. I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm. I can work before or after work, and I have Saturday and Sunday fully available. I have a fenced in yard, and I have two small dogs. I’m able to separate my pets based off the layout of my home if necessary. I’m open to visiting homes to giving pets attention, give meds, and take pets on walks. Also open to watering plans and taking trash out. Would be willing to do light cleaning around the home as well.
