Sam can care for
Availability
Pet care is currently my main source of income and my schedule is often changing to meet the needs of my clients and their pets. The most consistent parts of my schedule are the handful of dogs I walk 1 to 4 times a week, typically Monday-Thursday. I like to spend my free time producing music, play board games, and enjoying nature.

Reliable & detail oriented pet care
Pet care experience
Through Rover and beyond, I regularly care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities—from playful puppies to older pets who may need gentler attention. As of May 2026, I'm fully booked for dog walking 10am-2pm Monday-Thursday, but I'd be happy to take on a few more walks outside of those hours in NE PDX. I grew up with pets and landed my first paid pet-sitting gig was feeding my neighbor’s cat when I was about 12 years old; however, it wasn’t until I helped raise a Corgi named Rocket that my passion for pet care truly blossomed, leading me to pursue it more seriously. I’ve lived with cats or dogs for 90% of my life, and now is no exception. My housemates have a 12 year old lab mix and a 15 year old Siamese cat. Pet care has allowed me to develop rewarding friendships with so many animals, with pets so often putting a smile on my face! If your furry friend deserves a walk, some playtime, some company, or even somebody to reliably give them their medication, I’m here to help.

Always absolutely reliable

First time using Rover and was not sure how our fur babies would do with a new person staying in the house. Sam was great and everything went as expected- in fact, we have already booked another time for him to come look after our big dog and senior cat. Would recommend!

Sam saved the day coming through with a last minute pet sitting request when we had an emergency come up. Pretty awesome

Great sitter. Responded quickly, got photo updates, dogs were well taken care of.
