“Makenzie is fantastic- she has a sweet & calm demeanor, exactly what my anxious pup needed. She definitely knows what it takes to develop trust with dogs overtime. We’ve been lucky to have her take care of our fur baby.”

“First time with Brigit. Cooper was immediately comfortable with her. I appreciate that she asked lots of questions to ensure she knew his habits and likes, and my expectations. I look forward to Brigit taking care of Cooper again.”

“Nicole did a great job taking my dog for walks/play at the park. I came home to a happy tired pup. She’s a good communicator, quickly responds to any questions, and reliably showed up when agreed upon. Will definitely book with her again.”

“My dog is a total baby and needs someone who is patient with her so I’ve been very picky with who can walk her. Alyssa was the perfect match, super accommodating with my schedule as well which was so nice. Cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I grew up in a family that always had 6 pets plus of all kinds. Whether it be a mammal, reptile, or fish, I’ve taken care of it. I am very comfortable and familiar with animals. I currently have a cat who gets along with other animals well! I’m I have a very flexible routine, but I go to my nursing school program three times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a couple hours during the morning and afternoon I currently live in an apartment with one cat. She gets along with other animals well. My apartment is situated in a neighborhood, so I can take your furry friends on frequent walks if needed!
About: I have a vast background in pet care ranging from small reptiles to large mammals and love them all the same! Caring for critters is a huge part of my everyday life and would love to share a lending hand with you and your furry (or not so furry) friend in your time of need. Being that I am currently working part time, I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to aid in the care that your pet deserves. I enjoy getting out for walks when needed and have five cats and two dogs at home that can accompany your pet for some social time. Additionally, if crating is needed for your pet, I can provide them with a comfortable quiet environment to get cozy in. Plenty of soft blankets, pillows and cuddles included!
About: I have dog sat for several people over the last several years. Including house sitting and dog sitting combined. Mostly they’ve been young and healthy dogs so I don’t have a lot of experience with older or sick dogs. But I know how important they are as a member of the family so I will always treat them with love and the best care. I’m a stay at home at home mom and have childcare often so I’m very flexible and am just looking for something to help supplement our income. Our cat is indoor only so I’m well aware of how to make a space comfortable and safe for them. But I’m willing to work with indoor/outdoor pets as well and am confident in my ability to keep them safe, clean and healthy.
“Margaret is wonderful! She takes such great care of our pup and loves her like she is her own! Prompt response time, super responsible, and just a great caretaker overall.”

About: I've had a dog almost my entire life. My family has 2 dogs I have my smaller pamerian mix and my parents have a pit bull. So I know how to care for big dogs and little ones. I let the dogs out to potty at least once an hour. I just recently started on rover but I have been on wag longer if you wanna see reviews I've done about 30 walks and such on there all 5 star reviews. I would walk the dog twice a day moring and night. There's a dog park near me I could take them. I work Monday-Friday 4pm-1am. I work for the county and can not take days off unfortunately. I have the weekends off and most of the holidays. I would take the dog or dogs out to potty every two hours. We would do two walks a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon or night.
About: If your bestie is a cat, dog, rabbit, or chicken, I am excited to get to know them! I have experience with kittens, puppies, elderly cats and geriatric dogs. I've trained a foster puppy so she could be the best version of herself for her forever home, and I'm working on earning my credentials through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Pet care is important not only for the pet but for my own health. My dog, Toby, helps me remember to eat, exercise, and play. Toby is 4 years old and I am grateful for his company every day. I cherish him and I know you cherish your creature, too! I am excited to care for your pet in your home. It's the most comfortable thing for the animal to stay in their own, familiar environment, so I will adhere to the routine they're most accustomed to. I am very happy to feed, exercise, groom, bathe, cuddle, and entertain them.
“Brian stepped in when our summer walker for River was out of town. And we’re so glad he did. An incredibly compassionate caretaker of dogs. We trusted Brian with our best boy both immediately and implicitly! Thank you Brian!”

“Jenni is great. She has helped us get our high energy dog out for walks while we are at work. She is patient with our little pup, and he always seems happy on days they walk. She always takes great pictures of our dog, and is very communicative about what is going on with our dog. Would definitely recommend her.”

Parkrose dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brian is very patient and helpful with my two dogs, Snowy and Dutsch. Both dogs can be a little difficult on a walk, as they are working breeds without much training. Brian offered some tips and suggestions about using a gentle leader to avaoid pulling. He arrived on time and walked them for the full hour as promised.

Lauren has walked my dogs for a week and done a great job. She has followed through with all the directions (especially all of the safety concerns- key back where it’s supposed to go and the gate latched on the fence). My dogs seemed very happy with Lauren, and she is very good about communicating.

We had such a great experience with Ariane! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and you can tell she truly cares about what she does. She took the time to listen to all of my requests and followed through on everything with professionalism and attention to detail. On top of that, she’s easy to communicate with. I’m grateful to have found her and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog walker.

Julia was a wonderful dog walker! When I submitted the rover request she responded quickly. She communicated well through booking and while walking the dogs. She took very good care of our dogs and I would reach out to her again for future dog walking needs. Thank you Julia!!

Kelley is amazing! She was so kind to me, easy-going, punctual, super honest and seemed to enjoy her time with Hazel, my rambunctious 8-month old lab! I am excited to work with Kelley again for dog walks and also looking forward to having Hazel board with Kelley some day too!
Kayden has done a marvelous job tending to my mother’s dog. She can’t walk her as far or as often as she used to, so his help has been immeasurable. And my mom’s dog has taken to him quickly. We are very happy with his service. And he has kept us up to date with all his walks.
I had a great experience with Asami. She stepped in to help on short notice and did an amazing job with our puppy. He came back from his walks happy and thoroughly worn out, which was exactly what he needed. She was friendly, on-time, and clearly loves pups. I’m looking forward to booking with her again!
