“Mindy and Daniel took care of our dog and cat while we were away. They did a great job, communicated well, and our home was in great shape when we returned! Not to mention the beautiful photo updates of our pets!”

“My cat is not easy to get close to, but Madx was gentle, persistent, and played all of Juniper’s favorite games. They were attentive and fed and gave Juniper her meds when needed. When I got home Juniper was happy as could be. I highly recommend Madx for housesitting your pet! The house looked great too!”
“Compassion, care, and competence: Brigit embodied all of these things while watching my 70+ lb. highly energetic German Shepherd, Raina. I would recommend Brigit to anyone and everyone who needs a pet sitter. My dog mom anxiety was left at ease knowing my Raina pup was being watched by such a reliable and kind person!”

“We had Phillip watch our dog for 4 nights and 5 days: Couldn’t be happier with the level of attention he gave our dog. Sent us pics and always responded in a timely manner to our texts. And the fact that our dog is just a year old but also 100 lbs isn’t an easy task at times. I hope he’ll be available next time we are in need since Phillip will be our first choice!”

“Jasper and Jaydon took wonderful care of Muffin and my house! They were responsive, professional, and so kind and conscientious. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Alice is amazing! She stayed at our house for a week and took care of our dog and also watered our plants. Communication was great, our dog was happy, win win! I would happily use her again.”
“Kristen was a thorough and prompt communicator and awesome with our critters! Our anxious dog and cat warmed up to her quickly and she was able to navigate a troublesome toilet issue while we were gone. She is great and we appreciated her house sitting!”

“Naomi was super responsive and great about sending pictures and photos. She made my (high maintenance) pup immediately comfortable and she took great care of him. I highly recommend Naomi!!!”

“Jeff was excellent. Our dogs were well tended too. We appreciated him being here. Jeff sent photos and loved our pets like they were his own. We will definitely be hiring him again. We felt comfortable having him in our home.”

“Maria exceeded my expectations while accommodating a last minute request to sit Olaf in my home. She went above and beyond by volunteering to do things with Olaf that were not on my list. Highly Recommended!”

“Jayne is an amazing sitter and I know all of my pets are in great hands when she is with them! She is a true animal lover and regularly shares updates and photos. My pets love her!”

About: I am currently on a pre-veterinary track in college, and have worked in vet clinics + animal rehab centers in the past. Before moving to Corvallis, I also cared for 8 pets! I’m currently going to college classes a few hours a day during weekdays, with a lot of open time before, between, and after classes. I also have weekends open. At home, I have a large fenced backyard for lots of running and playtime! I also have an incredibly friendly dog, Juno, to keep your pet company if needed.
“Molly was the absolute best! She worked with us on some scheduling difficulties and ended up saving the day. She kept us totally updated with photos and messages and didn’t hesitate to ask questions which I really appreciate. Can’t wait for Molly to house/dog sit again!”

“Brian stayed with Leeroy Bku for his second time recently and we really appreciate him and his attention to detail. Brian has been great staying at our house with Leeroy and has even helped us water plants and also with other additional small requests. You can tell he’s a true dog lover and has helped Leeroy manage some allergy/skin irritations while we were out. Thanks Brian!”

“Meagan was great! We had regular updates and lots of pictures of a well cared for pup. Communication was consistent and would be happy to have her come again and recommend her to others!”

About: As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog’s care. I bring a calm, dependable presence and treat every dog as an individual, meeting them where they are—energy level, personality, and needs included. I’m easy-going and patient, with a genuine love and appreciation for dogs of all kinds. Whether your dog enjoys longer walks, hikes, dog park time, or just a quick potty break and some companionship, I tailor each visit to what helps them feel comfortable and content. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I’ve put my own younger dog through multiple training classes and understand the importance of reinforcing routines, commands, and good habits. I’m also comfortable administering medication and slowing things down for senior pups who need extra care and attention. Both of my dogs are rescues, which has made me especially mindful of dogs who may be anxious, sensitive, or adjusting to new people. I prioritize patience, consistency, and reassurance—particularly for dogs who feel stressed when their humans are away. I work full-time from home during the week, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m generally available mornings, mid-day, and early evenings, and I’m off on weekends—so your dog gets consistent care, not rushed gaps between obligations. I plan my day around the dogs I’m caring for, making sure walks and visits fit naturally into a calm, steady routine. I aim to mirror your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walking habits, commands, and house rules—so they feel secure and settled. I’m attentive to cues like body language, energy levels, and stress signals, and I adjust care as needed. Safety always comes first: secure leashes and harness checks, awareness of surroundings on walks, and clear communication if anything feels off. I respect your home as I would my own and follow instructions carefully, knowing trust is earned through consistency and follow-through.
About: I have dog sat for several people over the last several years. Including house sitting and dog sitting combined. Mostly they’ve been young and healthy dogs so I don’t have a lot of experience with older or sick dogs. But I know how important they are as a member of the family so I will always treat them with love and the best care. I’m a stay at home at home mom and have childcare often so I’m very flexible and am just looking for something to help supplement our income. Our cat is indoor only so I’m well aware of how to make a space comfortable and safe for them. But I’m willing to work with indoor/outdoor pets as well and am confident in my ability to keep them safe, clean and healthy.
Parkrose pet parents share their Rover experiences
Heather is trustworthy, dependable, punctual, and compassionate. She took a very active approach towards Otto’s care while we were away— taking him on multiple walks and playtime in the backyard. We received pictures throughout our time away. The home was clean and tidy when we returned. Would highly recommend Heather and will definitely work with her again in the future!

Rowan was great! He lived in our house for 10 days and took great care of our two dogs! He was very responsive and communicative and also immediately bonded with our dogs. He kept us posted of the few issues that arose while gone and the best part was that we came home to a very clean house. We would definitely ask him to help in the future. Thanks Rowan 🐾

Evan was a gem! I just adopted a cat who came from a rough situation, and I've only had her for five months. In that five months, she's been going from an underweight, skittish, matted girl to a healthy, loving, mischievous girl with a serious addiction to toys. She's endured two surgeries in that time, as well. All that to say, I'm a highly protective new cat mom. Evan met me where I was at. He clearly understood that relating to Nova might change from day to day, and was clear that he would be there for her but wouldn't push. He sent regular updates, funny pictures and videos, and was also very respectful of my condo. When I arrived home, Nova was clearly well taken care of, and he'd run a load of laundry, taken out the trash and left the place generally neat and tidy. The best part that I was very glad of: excellent communication. He asked questions to clarify how I usually do things, and also asked when supplies seemed to be running low, and was perfectly willing to run out and pick up things if needed. He also was honest. Nova struggles and tries to escape being brushed, and he was open with me that he hadn't been able to do it much. That's was helpful information so that I knew I'd need to catch up a bit with brushies when I got home. I highly recommend you use Evan, but you know... not so much that *I* can't book him anymore! 😉

Brigit was wonderful! We had a great first meetup with my two dogs, she was very communicative and prompt throughout her stay, she was sending us lovey updates and took great care of our home and our dogs with no worries at all. Would highly recommend Brigit to anyone, and will gladly reach out to her again.
Amy did a wonderful job watching our babies! She gave plenty of updates with the cutest pictures. Our house was left clean as well. We were away for a week and not once did we have any concerns. It felt so nice to trust our home and babies with such a great sitter. We can tell our girls miss her already! Thank you Amy, can't wait to book with you again.
