About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life - growing up with cats and dogs instilled a deep love for animals that eventually led me to professional pet sitting in 2017. I spent five years as a trusted sitter in Portland, OR and nearly three years living in Bali, where I continued caring for animals and fostering strays in need. Pet and house sitting allows me to combine my nomadic lifestyle with my passion for animal care. I get to provide excellent care for your pets while staying connected to the fur babies I’ve always had in my life. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for weekday and weekend sits. I’m active and love taking dogs on hikes and adventures, and I’m equally happy spending quality time with cats who prefer cozy companionship. I’m highly organized and responsible. I’ll follow your care instructions to the letter, whether that’s administering medication, maintaining routines, or honoring your pet’s unique personality and needs. I work remotely with an extremely flexible schedule, which means I can be home with pets throughout the day. I’m not tied to an office or rigid hours. I structure my work around the animals I’m caring for, not the other way around. This makes it easy to accommodate morning walks, midday play sessions, feeding times, medications, or just keeping them company while I work. About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

He took the time to explain what Georgie needed, showed us how to properly use the prong collar as a communication tool, and gave us things to work on between sessions. Within just a few weeks, Georgie was walking so much better. He’s more focused, calmer, and actually checks in with me instead of dragging me down the sidewalk. It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. About: I grew up raising my two dogs, Nike and Sparky, since they were babies. Nike is a dachshund and Sparky is a little chunky chihuahua. They are both 11 years old. I also babysit my friend’s frenchie, Appa, when they go out of town. I currently work full-time, and am free in the evenings. I am also free during the weekends. I am pretty active and love to go on hikes and runs. I am a super outdoorsy person but can also be a couch potato. Although I don’t have a yard, I live in a super pet friendly neighborhood. I also currently don’t have pets and live in a calm friendly neighborhood.

About: I've spent years hanging out with all kinds of dogs and have had a few of my own for years, so I know what makes them tick. Whether it's a bunch of playful puppies or a sweet old dog, I've taken care of them all. I have experience with newborn litters and taken care of my own elderly dogs. Because of this, I can give your dog the perfect care they need to feel happy and loved, no matter how young or old they are! I currently work a full time job but I get fridays-Sunday off. During the weekends I’m free to take your pup on walks or even house sit while you’re gone enjoying some me time. Weekdays I usually have short days and can be flexible with my hours. About: I’m a professionally trained animal caregiver offering reliable, high quality care for pets of all kinds. I hold a Veterinary Assistants Certificate, as well as multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, first aid, emergency response, and administering medications. Including care for pets with long term medical conditions. In my free time, I volunteer with WCGHS in their shelter and in the community. I’ve also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and the Salt Lake City Humane Society, working with animals of all temperaments, including reactive and behaviorally sensitive dogs. About: Had dogs my whole life. Mines a coward and we'd need to check that he gets along with yours first, he'll get bullied if I'm not careful, the poor thing I stay home all day and spend as much of my time as possible outside. Your dog may come back muddy though, the messier you get the more fun you had and all! I am home all day with eyes/ears on the pets nearly constantly. I also spend so much time in environments that encourage explorative play and will keep most dogs too busy to get bored and act out in the first place. If a pet did act out, there's more than enough space in my place to separate animals and allow them to decompress. If at your place, mine is kennel trained for the same idea.

About: I don't like seeing pets alone when their owners are away, so I love keeping them company! I make them feel comfortable in my home. As an animal lover and a deaf person, I appreciate having pets around for companionship. My schedule is available in anytime. Just let me know if you want me watch your pets as longer I don’t mind. About: Ive taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets since I was a young child. I’ve worked with animals in multiple different environments and I can administer medication as well as provide a bath using my pet grooming station. I’m an animal lover of all kinds even the “big scary mean ones”. I lead a very active lifestyle and would love to be able to share that with your furry friend whenever you’re not able too! I also love teaching and training. There’s no better feeling for myself than when I can connect with an animal and build a bond. I’m currently working part time so I have a lot of available time to get outside and play with your furry friends. I take my own cats on walks several times a day we eat three limited ingredient meals a day and take regular baths and grooming sessions. Needless to say I never run out of time when it comes to spending time with any animals. I don’t have a yard however I have a big comfy couch and two very friendly cats that love dogs ready to play! I also live near a lot of dog parks including sellwood dog park and love going on tons of walks and runs throughout the day.
