My experience comes from hands-on work at a Humane Society and past pet sitting opportunities, where I worked with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. From shy rescues adjusting to new environments to high-energy dogs who need an outlet, I've learned how to read animals quickly and respond to what they actually need in the moment. Whatever your pet's personality, I've probably met one just like them, and I know how to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Right now, I have a wide open schedule, which means I'm able to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Whether it's an early morning, late evening, last-minute booking! Whether I'm house sitting, stopping in for a drop-in visit, or out on a walk, I treat every pet like they're my own. When I house-sit, I stick to your pet's normal routine, keeping the same feeding times, sleeping spots, and rules. Drop-in visits are attentive and unhurried, and walks are tailored to your dog's pace and energy level.

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.

I have plenty of time to help take care of animals. I am also flexible on weekends. Would be able to walk your pet midday and evenings. Mornings are tough time for my availability. I am experienced with setting up a routine schedule for a pet: morning bathroom break, midday, and evening. Lunch and dinner are typically done first thing in the morning and evening. A morning walk or evening walk also works. Routines are great for animals.

About: I am home full-time and really love dogs. I have 20 years of experience and I will treat your dog as my own and give them the attention they need in addition to providing them with a safe place to run and play. I will pay special attention to any specific instructions you have so you can be sure your pet is safe and happy with me. I am happy to provide photo updates throughout the day and run errands for your pet's needs. My home is nestled in a quiet tree-lined dog-friendly neighborhood where all of the properties are 2.5-10 acres located on the border of Camas and Vancouver at the base of Livingston Mountain. Pick up and drop off service also available if needed.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats and dogs & got my first taste of hands-on pet care when I got my sweet pup for my 8th birthday. Fast forward, I now have the privilege of loving that same dog’s two puppies (who are now 10 years old). I work from home and walk my girls every 2-3 hours. I can exercise high energy dogs or make walks shorter and easier for senior pups. I’m very affectionate and love cuddly pups and kitties. I’m happy to tailor care to your animal’s needs & love them like my own! I’m also comfortable administering medications. I work from home full time so pet care is easy and flexible for me. I walk my girls every 2-3 hours and will be happy to do the same for your pup. Whenever I do leave, I try not to be gone for more than 4 hours to ensure no one is left alone for too long. I live in a two bedroom townhouse with a small front yard for quick potty breaks. The neighborhood is great for walks and is very safe. My two dogs are 10 year old chihuahuas and are very relaxed, friendly, and lazy (they love to sleep all day). While caring for your baby, I can provide separation if needed or preferred, or if it’s comfortable for you, everyone can happily co-exist. I also have a small crate available if needed at any time. I work from home and am home with my pets all day. I also have a living room camera to check on the babies whenever we are out of the house. I can use the two-way audio & microphone to talk to them with this. :)

About: Since I was little, I’ve helped care for my family dogs. Two years ago I adopted my first cat and I’ve been missing having a dog in my life! I’ve dog sat for friends and family and I love meeting new pups. Whether you need help walking your dog while at work or you need a sitter for a vacation etc, feel free to reach out! I already take nearly daily neighborhood strolls and local hikes by myself and if I have a companion with me then it’s a win win :) I have fairly open availability most days at the moment. I work seasonally and part-time at 2 jobs so my availability fluctuations - I can do most afternoons/evenings and some mornings. I can house sit in your home to give your pet some company, or I would love to get them exercise on long walks! I can transport in my car as well to take them to parks, or on a hike or run! I got poop bags and treats ready to go.

I pay attention when we go on walks — checking leashes, making sure doors and gates are secure, and watching for anything that might make your pup uncomfortable.
