Our 5 month old puppy Sophie had an absolute blast staying with Jennifer, her family, and her dogs. Jennifer even sent me a few videos of Sophie running and playing with their puppy and older dog. My worries were put to ease when we arrived for drop off and there was a decorated chalk board outside saying “Welcome Sophie”. That little personalized thoughtful touch nearly made me tear up. I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well! We will be boarding at Danielle's as long as she'll have us 💜”

My sidekick is Milo, our mini bernedoodle. He goes to the dog park twice a day and has yet to meet a dog he didn’t immediately adore. Honestly, having a friend in the house is his dream scenario, so your pup would be doing him a favor. Your dog gets two dog park trips a day, a playmate who never runs out of energy, and photo updates you didn’t ask for but will enjoy. I’ll treat them exactly how I’d want Milo treated - safe, spoiled, and pleasantly worn out by bedtime. My schedule is built around dogs already, so adding one doesn’t change much. I’m home all day working, so your dog is never alone for long stretches — just a friend at my feet while I work, with breaks for play and attention throughout the day. Milo and I hit the dog park twice a day, morning and late afternoon, and your pup comes along (or gets a neighborhood walk instead if the dog park isn’t their scene). Meals, medications, and potty breaks run on whatever schedule you set — I’d rather keep your dog’s routine than impose mine. About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

Working with Chris has made such a huge difference. He took the time to explain what Georgie needed, showed us how to properly use the prong collar as a communication tool, and gave us things to work on between sessions. Within just a few weeks, Georgie was walking so much better. He’s more focused, calmer, and actually checks in with me instead of dragging me down the sidewalk. It’s made walks so much more enjoyable, and I feel like I understand my dog so much better now. If you’re on the fence, do it. I only wish we had started sooner!”

During the weekends I’m free to take your pup on walks or even house sit while you’re gone enjoying some me time. Weekdays I usually have short days and can be flexible with my hours. I have a fenced back yard, and a lovely park not even 10 min away. They can spend time with me inside and outside my home.
About: I’m a professionally trained animal caregiver offering reliable, high quality care for pets of all kinds. I hold a Veterinary Assistants Certificate, as well as multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, first aid, emergency response, and administering medications. Including care for pets with long term medical conditions. In my free time, I volunteer with WCGHS in their shelter and in the community. I’ve also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and the Salt Lake City Humane Society, working with animals of all temperaments, including reactive and behaviorally sensitive dogs. About: Had dogs my whole life. Mines a coward and we'd need to check that he gets along with yours first, he'll get bullied if I'm not careful, the poor thing I stay home all day and spend as much of my time as possible outside. Your dog may come back muddy though, the messier you get the more fun you had and all! I am home all day with eyes/ears on the pets nearly constantly. I also spend so much time in environments that encourage explorative play and will keep most dogs too busy to get bored and act out in the first place. If a pet did act out, there's more than enough space in my place to separate animals and allow them to decompress. If at your place, mine is kennel trained for the same idea.

About: Ive taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets since I was a young child. I’ve worked with animals in multiple different environments and I can administer medication as well as provide a bath using my pet grooming station. I’m an animal lover of all kinds even the “big scary mean ones”. I lead a very active lifestyle and would love to be able to share that with your furry friend whenever you’re not able too! I also love teaching and training. There’s no better feeling for myself than when I can connect with an animal and build a bond. I’m currently working part time so I have a lot of available time to get outside and play with your furry friends. I take my own cats on walks several times a day we eat three limited ingredient meals a day and take regular baths and grooming sessions. Needless to say I never run out of time when it comes to spending time with any animals. I don’t have a yard however I have a big comfy couch and two very friendly cats that love dogs ready to play! I also live near a lot of dog parks including sellwood dog park and love going on tons of walks and runs throughout the day. I have a very clean home and a crate incase it’s needed I can also separate my cats away if needed pretty much can work around anything I’ve even got an elevator.

I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well!
