“Taylor took *wonderful* care of my cats! She did everything I asked, sent succinct and helpful summaries, and - most telling of all - both cats were healthy and happy upon my return. She seems highly competent and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

“Molly was great! She kept in regular communication and provided updates and pictures which was greatly appreciated. My cat is very standoffish with new people but she came around to Molly and seems to have enjoyed her company and care. Thanks again!”

About: I treat every dog like family, with love, care, and plenty of belly rubs—keeping tails wagging, paws happy, and pet parents worry-free! If you need someone reliable, I’m your gal. My schedule is flexible since I work at home. I appreciate structure and communication so let’s chat about your needs and we can go from there. Maintaining a routine that your pet is familiar with is important to me when caring for them. There can be an adjustment period when first meeting which is totally understandable, but I strive to make your pet as comfortable as possible to settle in! As mentioned before, communication is also a top priority so I am happy to send updates and photos for peace of mind.
“I was so nervous to leave my cat while on vacation but thanks to Kayla I didn’t have to. She got all the information down and made me feel at ease. She did a great job and ensured all her needs were met. Again, thank you so much.”

“Desirée did a fabulous job with drop in visits for my three cats, including one who needs oral medication. Everything went super smoothly! I also appreciate her prompt communication and flexibility.”

“Caroline was so friendly, communicative, adaptable and most importantly, so caring with fur babies! She left such detailed and thoughtful notes and photos, and went above and beyond with their care instructions. I’d definitely want Caroline to watch my pets again, and recommend her as a trustworthy person to anyone searching for pet care!”

“Zach has a very calm energy which is really good for our Lola. He was very comprehensive during the intake to make sure he understood all Lola'd needs and preferences. We had to change plans a couple of times but he was understanding and adaptable (thanks for that Zach!). Zach is our go to person for our home check-in's and walking services.”

About: I love spending time at home, playing with toys, cuddling, and taking long walks with the dogs. I’ve always treated the pups I care for as if they’re my own. Puppy or senior, Tito and I love doggo visitors in our house! I have a very flexible 4:1 work schedule. I’m home Friday - Sunday, which leaves a ton of time for snuggling up or getting outside with the dogs. Multiple walks a day for quick breaks or strolls and fresh air. Tito is a 8 year old goldendoodle who loves to play with others! Plenty of space for the dogs to have playtime and then rest in their own area for naps.
“Cody was kind and considerate when watching my two cats! Cody thoughtfully arranged their toys each day and gave them as much attention as they would allow! Thank you, Cody! I know the cats and the house were well taken care of!”

“Honestly, if you’re looking for a sitter look no further. Kate is without a doubt an attentive, sweet & communicative person. She’ll look after your dog like her own & keep you updated. 10/10 will book kate again.”

“Trace is great! Relaxed and easy to communicate with, took excellent care of my kitty. Daily updates with helpful info and photos. I highly recommend Trace for your pet!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals since childhood, growing up on my grandparents’ farm with cows, chickens, pigs, cats, and dogs. But when I was around 8 years old, I was bitten by a trained guard dog that came off the chain in the neighbor’s house, it left me with a deep fear and a stutter. For years, I kept my distance from dogs and found comfort mostly with cats. When I moved to New York City as young adult I met Alex, a family dog who truly healed me. First time I spent an entire month caring for him while his family was away, we formed a bond that transformed my relationship with dogs forever. Since then, I’ve been lucky to be part of a vibrant dog-lover community in NYC, where me and my ex-partner would often board dogs, take them for adventures to the beach or outdoor cafe with us, swing by dog run daily even if we didn't walk a pup just to be with the community, celebrated countless dog birthdays, attended multiple dog Halloween parades, and in our group we just always had dogs. Even for the New Years Eve we would often have 5-8 dogs running around the house where we would all gather. I have experience taking furry friends for doctor’s appointments, taking medications, brushing teeth, cutting nails, washing, walking multiple dogs (small and large together), managing pets with anxiety (like fireworks), cared for dogs of all ages, pups and elderly. I am also really good at feeding dogs the needed vegetables, playing fetch, and just catching their moods, needs, and giving unconditional love. I love learning about their personalities and building friendship with every pet I care for. As I moved to Portland 5 months ago, I have been missing my furry friends and community in east coast and I decided that it was time to build a new one. I would be honoured to meet your pet, whether it's cat or dog, and I am confident that I can provide the best care to them filled with love! I’m detail-oriented, respectful of your home, and genuinely love spending quiet time working on my laptop with a pup or kitty curled at my side or heading out for play and/or for walks. Animals bring me joy and deeper love for myself and others, they are the medicine for the soul, and I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own family. I am a PhD candidate and former non-profit project manager, currently very flexible and would love to be a pet sitter full-time alongside my writing. I am open for bookings weekdays and weekends. I have cared for dogs in their homes and boarded dogs in my own apartment too. I treat your home as my own, I am very clean, responsible, and respect your privacy and space. At the moment, I can board dogs and cats:)
“Zen was wonderful with my cats! They even got my old lady to play some laser, which she rarely does. They also check in and sen photos every visit. I Highly recommend them!”

“Laura was so accommodating and great to communicate with. My two doggies really have trouble meeting people and can be quite a handful. They warmed up (warm for them) faster and easier than with anyone outside of my husband and I. They were still quite a handful, but Laura handled it calmly and heroically. Im very happy to have found her and know she will be great for our dogs and just maybe we will be able to get a human only trip in this year.”

“I booked Annie last minute to watch my cat over the holidays and she was excellent! She was punctual and thorough and I’m incredibly grateful she was able to be so accommodating.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all sizes, and all of them deserve the best. Big or small, scrappy or furry, every single one is just a future friend to make, and I look forward to meeting them all. I’m currently only working and seeking work for pet care so your furbaby would be my main focus. I only recently moved to Portland, so making animal friends is a dream come true. I pride myself on being very attentive to pets needs and actions. Keeping an eye on them, chatting with them, playing with them, letting them out or taking them for walks, I like being the best fur-friend I can be while also respecting the environment I am in, while also respecting the clients wishes.
“Gracie is my girl! A lot of sitters are more “dog people” and just deal with cats. Not Gracie! She is so good with my kitties, always grabs snaps of them, and goes the extra mile to make sure my scardy cat eats. I love her so much. 11/10 would recommend.”

“Patricia was so kind and generously left a toy for my pup!! That he’s super curious about and loves to have fun with. She also was very communicative during the stay. I recommend!”

Audrey was incredible! Right off the bat she had a great connection with my two cats (who are very tricky with new people) and instantly made me feel at ease. Throughout our long time away, she was consistently thoughtful, a thorough communicator and shared great updates from home. I will rebook in a heartbeat!

Lisa was the purrr-fect fit for watching our cat while we were on vacation for 2 weeks! We were quick to notice how much she wanted her to feel as much love and attention in our absence as possible. She provided detailed updates and photos every visit so we felt at ease knowing our fur baby was in good hands and we could fully relax. 10/10 quality sitter - we WILL hire again!
