About: I am an experienced sitter who is trained in pet first aid, and utilizes positive reinforcement and force-free training techniques. My gentle nature and intuitiveness make me a great fit for cats, senior dogs, and pups on the shy side. I also have experience with reactivity. I have always loved animals and find connecting with them easy and rewarding. I take the time to build a trusting relationship with each pet I look after. That in combination with my intuitiveness ensures that I can anticipate your pets needs and give them the best possible care. Along with having pets of my own since childhood, I also have two years of experience working with a rescue that was home to all kinds of creatures—from dogs, to chickens, to cows! Pet care is my full-time gig. I am available from 9am on each day for walks and drop-ins. For my house sitting clients I can guarantee they will be left alone no longer than 6 hours at a time, with a midday check/potty break included each day. My preference is to care for pets in their homes where they feel most comfortable. I make a point to be very respectful of my clients’ homes—I aim for a “leave no trace” approach to house sitting. I like to send daily updates with photos of your pets to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've always cared for cats and dogs, but for the past 8 yrs, I've focused on caring for my own senior and special needs cats and dogs who were/ are blind, had mobility issues, needed special medications and treatments, and animals that suffer anxiety and need extra love and attention. Making sure your pet has time to stretch their legs, get some fresh air, is given love and attention, and adhering to any special requests is my priority as your pet walker (and definitely lots of belly rubs or booty scratches!). Because I've taken care of special needs animals, I can provide a dog stroller or dog sling in the event they suffer from arthritis, other mobility issues, or maybe love to be carried during a walk. I make sure to take extra care while walking pets. Having walked blind, disabled, and high anxiety dogs, I take extra care to monitor the surrounding areas for potential dangers such as traffic, harmful debris, loose dogs, and even pavement/ land conditions that might hurt their paws (hot sidewalks are no joke). I currently work from home Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Sundays, I have plenty of time to stop in and give your pet some TLC. Your dog's safety is my first priority. Aside from keeping a close eye out for potential issues (loose dogs, loose children, loud trucks, traffic), I also keep an eye out and will let you know if I see anything that could potentially be an issue (a sudden limp, stool quality, reactions to certain stimulus). I also make sure to avoid or reduce exposure to already known trigger points (other dogs or overly trafficked areas).

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breads. I have recent experience in caring for elderly, disabled, and incontinent dogs. I love all dogs, young, old, grumpy, playful! I’d love to learn what your animal loves to do the most! I am a special needs childcare provider. I have lots of spare time when school is in. When I thought about how to spend my free time now that I no longer have my own dog, spending time with other people’s dogs sounded like the next best thing and getting to help people with travel plans or busy schedules stress less about their pets getting what they need is a great bonus! I love to follow instructions. If you leave me a list, I will follow it! Whatever your animal needs, I will do my best to provide!

About: We’ve taken care of our own dogs and fostered others for over 15 years . Sadly some have passed away and others have gone to good foster homes. We are comfortable with all levels of activity. One of us is home most of the time. My partner works from home twice a week and I am only away from home a few hours a day. Occasionally need to run errands or take the kids to school. I have a fully fenced in backyard with lots of grass to run around in. I have two friendly cats who have been around dogs.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid and I have a dog and cat of my own that I care deeply for. I have looked after pets that range from puppies to seniors. I am attentive to the needs of pets and I look forward to providing care for your fuzzy friends! I am a college student with a light schedule so I have lots of availability to spend taking care of your animals! Mornings and afternoons are generally pretty free. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to respect your space and follow your instructions exactly. I maintain their regular routine for feeding, walking, and any medications, and I send regular updates with photos so you always know how they’re doing. I aim to keep your pet relaxed and stress free while you're away!

About: When I was 12 I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society caring for and walking dogs of all ages and behavioral levels. I volunteered at the OHS until I turned 18 when I began working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, as well as pet-sitting. As a dog handler I spent time 1:1 time with dogs, distributing medication, and moderating large groups. Currently, I take many of those same dogs on weekly hikes, adventures, dog walks and work on basic obedience. As a dog owner myself, I participate in dog sports, service dog training and canine conditioning with my young dog and senior dog. Additionally, I am in the process of becoming a certified dog training (CPDT-KA) and certified behavioral adjustment trainer (CBATI-KA). I work a flexible part-time job, allowing me the time to provide 1:1 fun and intentional care of your pet, that works for you and your schedule. I will confidently and responsibly listen to and take action to provide the support both you and your pet(s) need. About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a certified groomer, lifelong dog lover, and proud pup parent of a young golden retriever — working through service training. Over the years I’ve also cared for labs, Saint Bernards, and many other breeds.
