“Holly did I fine job of taking care of our cats. The cats seemed very comfortable with her, judging by the pictures and updates Holly sent at each visit. We will use her again in the future. I give her a five-star recommendation.”

“Shad is a responsible & kind dogsitter who takes time to make sure our dog is comfortable & gets some enrichment for the day while we are away. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you so much Blake! Blake was great. He took my booking request even though it was last min. He made time to come visit before hand and meet my cat and get a lay of the land. My cat warmed up to him right away and I could tell me cat was enjoying Blake’s company from the photos Blake provided. I would definitely recommend Blake to other pet owners. Thanks again.”

About: Responsible Teacher & Specialized Cat Sitter! 🐈⬛ As a local school teacher, safety, structure, and patience are at the core of everything I do. When I'm not in the classroom, I bring that same level of care, dedication, and organization to looking after your pets. While I love all animals and have experience with dogs (and chickens!), my current lifestyle is perfectly suited for the feline world (for housesits; for drop ins, I welcome a bit of dog time). I specialize in cat care, ensuring your kitty gets dedicated, low-stress, and reliable attention while you're away. 🐈 Multi-Cat Families: I believe a few extra head scratches shouldn't cost more. I don’t charge an additional fee for up to 3 cats—your base rate covers the whole trio. (If you have 4 or more cats, please message me so we can discuss a custom rate based on their routine.) (Note: If you have a mixed household of both dogs and cats, feel free to reach out! I'm happy to see if we're a great match for house sitting or drop-ins.) My Experience & Medical Care I've had a lifetime of pet ownership, including multiple cats and a sweet Dachshund named Hansi. One of my current cats is 14 with anxiety and asthma, and I am experienced at administering oral and topical medications. I haven't given insulin or allergy injections yet, but I'm absolutely willing to give it a... shot! :) For several years, I fostered for The Pixie Project, caring for cats recovering from surgery, tiny kittens, and those needing intense socialization (I’ve even braved giving sulfur baths for ringworm!). I only stopped when I became a proud "foster failure" and adopted my third kitty. My Pet Care Philosophy Because I am naturally low-key, quiet, and calm, I excel at reading the unique body language of cats and smaller dogs. I know exactly when they need their space to feel safe, and when they are ready to open up and play. 📍 My Routine Service Areas (more flexible in summer) To ensure I am always reliable, punctual, and available for ongoing care, I focus my services around my daily commuting hubs: NW Portland: Especially around Forest Heights/NW District/West Hills and surrounding neighborhoods (this is near my school). NE Portland: Centered around my home, stretching out toward 102nd Ave. Have a sit outside these specific pockets? Feel free to message me! If my work schedule permits, I always try to accommodate when I can. As a teacher, my summers are open, giving me maximum flexibility to adapt to your pet's specific schedule! I am naturally an early riser, which makes me perfect for those early morning walks, breakfast feedings, and potty breaks. During the school year, my routine is pretty fixed, so we can determine easily if I am a good fit for your family. While my summer schedule is wide open for midday check-ins and extended stays, I remain available during the school year for evening and weekend care (and occasional midday care, dependent on location), ensuring consistency for your pet year-round. NOTE: My "summer" begins June 16. Any bookings before that date will not have the same flexibility. I treat your space with the utmost respect, keeping things tidy and secure. I follow your exact feeding, medicating, and cleaning routines to a T so your pet’s schedule isn't disrupted, and I always ensure the home is locked up and safe before I leave. I am a homeowner myself and value and respect the immense cost and care you've put into your home, whether you are renting or paying off that mortgage. No matter the location, I focus on reading your pet's unique body language to give them the exact balance of affection, playtime, and peaceful space they need to feel right at home.
About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a certified groomer, lifelong dog lover, and proud pup parent of a young golden retriever — working through service training. Over the years I’ve also cared for labs, Saint Bernards, and many other breeds. Why Book With Me? • Experienced with puppies, seniors, and special needs dogs • Certified groomer (bathing available upon request) • Daily updates + “report card” on behavior, appetite, and sleep • Lots of exercise and playtime (hiking, dog parks, fetch) I know how much dogs mean to their families, and I treat every pup as my own. Whether your dog wants adventure or snuggles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. -Lauren I currently work a hybrid schedule and within 10 minutes of home for potty breaks/ play time. Home weekends or will most likely be out exploring the PNW. I have a spacious home with a loving pup for your fur baby to have company. Allow our dog on the couch for cuddles and comfort.
“Sam was great with pilot and Perla while I was gone over the holidays. It’s was amazing that he understood my dogs personalities. He was very attentive and took great pictures. I felt safe with him taking care of my dogs and I would totally book him again. Thank you Sam for being a great sitter.”

“Tayla was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our cat was taken care of when we were out of town! She spent extra time and attention to make sure that our cat was comfortable and eating after a fire alarm went off. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my home since I was born. Now I’m raising one of my own, and he’s my soulmate. While I’ve never worked with animals professionally, over my 30+ years of personal experience, I’ve learned the ins and outs, the good and bad, of what it means to love and care for a dog and give them the happy and healthy life they deserve. My desire to give that to any and all animals is a huge part of me. I’ve always just naturally connected with dogs, but I’ve also volunteered at various pet shelters and taken dog behavioral courses. I’ve done pet sitting for numerous friends and family members. Every dog is different, and I’ve found myself to be very in tune to each individual dog I’ve met in order to get to know them and earn their trust. I’d love the opportunity to meet yours! I’m available for drop-in visits and walks. Right now, my open schedule is Monday-Friday during the day, from about 10am-4pm, give or take. I’m generally unavailable in the evenings. For drop-ins, I’d be happy to do feedings and water refills, potty breaks, and of course snuggle and play indoors or outdoors. For walks, we’ll stroll in your neighborhood! Please let me know if your dog has any triggers or sensitivities (loud noises, other dogs, squirrels, humans, etc) and I’ll do my very best to avoid them. I will always take your dog out on a leash. No matter how well-trained and impressive your pup is, I’m just not comfortable with pups I don’t know well off-leash. Harnesses are preferred in addition for large pups.
“Megan was great! My cat is usually reserved with new people and Megan still got her out of her shell. She left meaningful updates and provided excellent care. Will absolutely rebook if ever needed.”

“Helena was great! She was very communicative and kept me up to date on my cats. She even went above and beyond and dropped in an extra time as well as bringing a package I received up to my apartment for me! Will definitely use her again the next time I need a sitter.”

“Chance was great with my shy boy, who warmed right up to him. He asked great questions in our meet and greet, and I felt confident in leaving my pup with him. Looking forward to having him watch Sab again!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood - I grew up alongside both cats (Kiki, Jenny) and dogs (Bailey and Fenton), which taught me early on how different (and wonderfully quirky) each species can be. Over the years I've pet sat for many families, handling everything from daily walks and feeding routines to those cats who pretend they don't need you...until they do. I have a special soft spot for small pets and genuinely love the one-on-one time that daily walks and drop-in visits offer. Your pet won't just be checked on, they'll be fussed over! I work from home most days, which means your pet is never just waiting around for someone to show up - I'm already here, or nearby and flexible. My schedule allows me to offer drop-ins and walks at consistent times, which pets (especially dogs) really thrive on. I plan visits and walks the way most people plan meetings: they're on the calendar and they happen. I'm a creature of habit, which works out great for animals who depend on routine. Whether it's a midday drop-in for your cat or an afternoon walk for your dog, I show up on time, every time. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd want shown in mine. I follow your pet's routine - their feeding schedule, their favorite spots, the words they respond to, the toys they love. I'm not there to do things my way; I'm there to make your pet feel like you never left. I always send updates with photos so you can see for yourself how they're doing. I have a genuine soft spot for small animals. I understand that small dogs and cats can be more sensitive to strangers and new energy, so I take my time letting them warm up to me rather than rushing the interaction. Calm, patient, and consistent - that's my approach.
Cully pet parents share their Rover experiences
John took care of everything we discussed perfectly. He was friendly and we're convinced our kitties were happier upon our return from our trip than other times. We appreciate his willingness to give the cats the love and care they needed while we were gone.

Catherine was wonderful with our cats! She wonderful with communication, did a great job giving our little old lady her liquid meds via syringe, and our house is nice and tidy and our cats are happy and healthy! We will absolutely be booking with her again for future trips.

Danielle is fantastic!! She always takes great care of Delphi, and provides great communication. She even cleaned Delphi's used bowls, and it was so nice getting home after a long drive and not needing to clean a bowl to feed Delphi's dinner. Plus she takes great pictures 😀
