“Excellent, exceeds expectations every time. Couldn’t imagine a better fit for our dog! Goes above and beyond! Your dog is more than safe with Josh and will be smiling from ear to ear with every visit.”

“Tayla was amazing! She left detailed notes after each visit with tons of pictures. She was flexible, communicative, and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. My cat can be timid around strangers at times but went up to Tayla immediately. I’d be happy to book her again :)”

“Felicia went *above* above and beyond with my skittish cat! She sent such nice updates and lots of photos, brought extra treats for my lil man, and experimented with different ways to engage him. He was having big trouble before my trip, as he’d recently lost his brother – so I was extremely worried about leaving him. Felicia took that to heart and loved on him as if he were her own. She must have a sixth cat sense, because my cat is very shy and skittish; despite that, he quickly became comfortable with her, and even endured a building-wide alarm test without any residual trauma upon my return. That speaks volumes about how Felicia put him at ease! I can’t recommend her as a cat sitter enough.”

“Shannon was great! Super on time, followed instructions perfectly and added great notes and pictures to ensure we knew all of our fur kids were happy and safe.”

“Erin was a perfect for daily play and feeding visits for Molly cat. She was quick to reply and gave regular updates during my two week vacation. I will be working with Erin in the future for sure!!”

“Molly is so wonderful with our home and our kitty. We so appreciate her flexibility, responsiveness, care and consideration. We look forward to working with her in the future.”

“I get great communication from Jade! She sends cute pics and is super aware of my dog and the environment. She even noticed when there was some torn paper on the ground and made sure to tell me incase my dog ate it. Marli seems to adore Jade from what I can see on the dog camera.”

“Leaving my dog when I have a vacation or other travel is always stressful, but Dana was so professional and experienced that I knew Bean was in good hands and I could just relax and enjoy the journey. Highly recommend!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood - I grew up alongside both cats (Kiki, Jenny) and dogs (Bailey and Fenton), which taught me early on how different (and wonderfully quirky) each species can be. Over the years I've pet sat for many families, handling everything from daily walks and feeding routines to those cats who pretend they don't need you...until they do. I have a special soft spot for small pets and genuinely love the one-on-one time that daily walks and drop-in visits offer. Your pet won't just be checked on, they'll be fussed over! I work from home most days, which means your pet is never just waiting around for someone to show up - I'm already here, or nearby and flexible. My schedule allows me to offer drop-ins and walks at consistent times, which pets (especially dogs) really thrive on. I plan visits and walks the way most people plan meetings: they're on the calendar and they happen. I'm a creature of habit, which works out great for animals who depend on routine. Whether it's a midday drop-in for your cat or an afternoon walk for your dog, I show up on time, every time. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd want shown in mine. I follow your pet's routine - their feeding schedule, their favorite spots, the words they respond to, the toys they love. I'm not there to do things my way; I'm there to make your pet feel like you never left. I always send updates with photos so you can see for yourself how they're doing. I have a genuine soft spot for small animals. I understand that small dogs and cats can be more sensitive to strangers and new energy, so I take my time letting them warm up to me rather than rushing the interaction. Calm, patient, and consistent - that's my approach.
“Amazing pet sitter! Very attentive to details and communicating! She made sure that Bravo was well fed and taken care of! Would highly recommend to anyone needing their pets taken care of”

About: Currently a pet parent of 1 dog and 2 cats. Experience outside of rover taking care of peoples furry friends. Good with being an advocate and dealing with dogs who are more shy and nervous as I have a shy/nervous dog myself. I will be intentional about the care and support your pet needs. I currently have a very flexible work schedule and will be able to fit to most schedules in terms of the family and pet needs. Though we won’t host any pets at our home, I will make sure I have a full understanding of your expectations and needs when taking care of your favorite family member.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. I’m incredibly empathetic toward animals (I don’t even kill bugs!), so every pet in my care is treated with gentleness, patience, and genuine love. The dogs in my photos are my beloved old pups (Milo the Golden Retriever and Yoshi the Shih Tzu) Milo was 8wks when I got him and Yoshi was 5wks — I don’t currently have any dogs, but I do have two friendly cats at home. Lucy my tiny little black cat🖤 and Foggy my orange menace 🧡 (both rescues) I have hands-on experience caring for and training my own dogs over the years, from large breeds like Dobermans to small breeds like Shih Tzus. I’ve also had cats my entire life so growing up half my cats were kitties I found, some even needing bottle feeding. I'm comfortable with all things feline — from playful kittens to independent seniors. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve cared for chickens, birds, and many other kinds of pets throughout my life. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. With me, your pet won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for like family. 💛 Haaay! 🌾 *ba-dum tss* As you see being a stand up comedian wasn’t my calling so here I am 🥲 My name is way too long so I just go by Mari I’m a stay-at-home mom with lots of free time and even more love to give your fur babies! I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom! 😎 I currently live in Vancouver, Being home most of the day means I can give your pet plenty of attention, care, and one-on-one time. I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekdays from 7am–4pm and Sundays from 7am–1pm, with flexibility whenever possible to help fit your schedule (I remember how hard it was finding help when I had my pups and ended up taking them to work with me) Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, a potty break, or extra cuddles, I’m always happy to help! We will spend much time out exploring, enjoying fresh air, getting in plenty of movement and mental stimulation. Walks, sniff breaks, and outdoor adventures are very important to me in order to keep a pup happy and healthy! I’d love to be your fur baby’s (and yours!) new friend and help make their day (also yours!😌) a little brighter!✨🐾🩷 Expect lots of cute photos and videos so you can see your fur baby’s enjoying every walk, play session, and cuddle break.📸 Your fur baby's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities — they’ll get plenty of love, cuddles, and care, and will feel right at home!🩷
About: Hi! I’m Kelley! If you’re looking for a second home for your dog, my son and I could be the perfect fit for your family! Our sweet Goldendoodle Riley suddenly just passed away and dog sitting has been so helpful navigating our loss. We treated Riley like a human (he thought he actually was! 😂 ) and so we will do the same with your fur baby! Dogs have a special place in my heart and I believe they should be treated and cared for with unconditional love and attention. I am primarily a stay at home mother, with a very part time job two evenings a week. Although we leave the house at least once a day, we are never gone for more than 4 hours at a time. I will walk your dog every day, and make sure he is given multiple potty breaks and stimulation inside as well. I have a fenced back yard and have a child proof lock on the inside of my front door so no dog will ever get loose. I allow dogs to be on the furniture and beds. For safety reasons, we can only care for your dog if your dog is good with children and is not aggressive with other dogs, especially while on walks.
Sunderland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Victoria did an absolutely amazing job caring for our fur babies while we were away. She made sure they received plenty of play time and pets, and even went above and beyond by returning to our home after her visit with them ended when their automatic feeders stopped working. I highly recommend Victoria as a sitter and will absolutely be booking her again in the future! Thank you for taking such good care of our kitties while we were away!

Catherine was wonderful with our cats! She wonderful with communication, did a great job giving our little old lady her liquid meds via syringe, and our house is nice and tidy and our cats are happy and healthy! We will absolutely be booking with her again for future trips.

Bea went above and beyond in an emergency situation where bees were getting into my apartment. While I am extremely sorry they had to deal with this, I am incredibly grateful to them for letting me know what was happening right away, and doing what they could to keep my cats safe in the environment. I can’t thank them enough!

I have high maintenance bulldogs, an old chihuahua and a cat. The bulldogs both had injuries/infections right before I left town, but that didn't stress her out. They loved Jill, and she did an amazing job taking care of them! She kept me updated so I knew they were doing well. I came home to an happy and healthy family. I have absolutely no concerns, only compliments. I will definitely hire her again.
