Cat Charmer
Cat nerd for hire! I love all animals and have spent my life around them. My house is always filled with as many animals as I can care for. Right now I have four cats, two domestic and two feral. I pride myself on being the cat nerd that can charm even the most shy of cats. More clients than I can count have assured me that I probably wouldn't ever see their cat but I generally end up receiving an opportunity to give out a pet or scratch. I've worked at veterinary clinics and have had 15 cats, most that have lived into their teens. I'm familiar with using inhalers on asthmatic cats, injecting insulin, pilling cats, trimming nails, etc. I will talk your ear off about catios so if you are considering one, let me know. I've been an animal rights activist for decades and an ethical vegan for 36 years so if you can't trust me with your critters, who can you trust? I care for pets full time and generally make myself available by text 24/7 as well as early and late evening bookings. I'm well versed in escape artist cats, and parent one of my own. My cats are royalty at home as yours should be in theirs. I am a full time pet caregiver and am generally able to accommodate most schedules. Let's chat and see what times I can help you out. Please note that I require cats to be checked on at least once per day, I do not do every other day bookings. Even if cats do not desire physical touch, they need someone to check their physical well being and to reassure them that they haven't been forgotten. I have an escape artist cat so I'm quite adept at not letting any rascals out that aren't supposed to be. While I think it is often best for the pet to meet me prior to my entry, I realize that isn't always feasible and frankly some pets are cool with any friendly human walking in.

Elaine was really the best sitter I’ve ever had. Not only did she get my skittish baby to come out and meow at her, but her attention to detail was superb. She took her shoes off and recycled cat food cans. Sounds basic but every sitter I’ve ever had has worn their shoes in my house when I was not there. Elaine remembered every time and I greatly appreciate that. I didn’t ask her to recycle the cans she just did and even crimped the tops into the cans just like the waste management company instructs! She sent me updates with pictures every day and my cats looked happy and engaged. She even remembered to leave my key (another first, previous sitters often had to swing back by with key another day). While my previous sitters were good, Elaine was outstanding. Thank you❣️

We had to travel out of state for a funeral right after moving to a brand new city. Elaine took such wonderful care of our 2 cats that I never worried about them while we were gone. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a wonderful caretaker. Our notoriously shy kitty, Hicks, even decided to try and make friends with her! I really appreciate the love she gave them while we couldn’t be there and will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I'm a full time professional pet nanny which means I make myself available nearly 24/7. I frequently visit pets twice per day in order to maintain their medication cycle or to visit cats that are accustomed to having social time with their family.
