I’ve been dog-walking and sitting for since 2016, and cat and house-sitting since 2020. As a lifelong pet owner, I’ve been caring for animals much longer: grew up with dogs, raised a stray cat, and had rabbits. In the past I’ve also sat hamsters, reptiles and various types of birds. I will love your pets and respect their needs, boundaries, body language to the best of my abilities. I want folks I sit for to feel safe and comfortable while away, and happy with my services upon return. I am glad to adjust to fit to particular needs and aim to meet your expectations so please communicate them to me before and during a sit. I do what I can with photos given my old phone, pets being moving subjects, and indoor lighting conditions. These photos are to show you that your pets are safe, not to give you IG-worthy shots. If you would like to state an expectation with the photos, I will do what I can to meet them. I have a special soft spot for senior animals (I had a 17yo dog who I adopted 4 years ago that passed last summer) and pets with special needs. I love all animals as I’ve always been around them. I am covid-cautious in that I will wear a mask during meet and greets. I live in a house with 3 humans. I cannot sleep on couches due to chronic shoulder pain. Aside from the required Rover background check, I also have been on the Oregon Background Registry for 4 years as a requirement for my work in childcare. I also worked in childcare for a decade in Manila. I value flexibility in booking times and understanding from pet owners as I work another part-time job in after-school childcare. I rely on Rover to make ends meet and as I am pursuing further studies in early childhood education!
