“Leah & Chris were absolutely amazing, i was in communication with them the whole time and felt at peace leaving my dogs with them. Thank you guys so much 🐾🐾”

“Oh my goodness, I'm pretty sure Hazel had an even better vacation than I did! From the start she was comfortable and snuggly with Paul and Arnel. Their home is warm, relaxed, and attracts good "dog vibes," if that's a thing. I so appreciated the wonderful communication, too-- frequent pictures and sweet observations came my way. As a first time Rover user, I had lots of questions about logistics, communication, etc., and Paul was incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you, Paul and Arnel, for being the best imaginable home away from home for sweet Hazel!”

“Sandy was so accommodating for our dogs stay: from providing us with flexibility regarding drop off and pick up, to caring for and providing updates on our very shy and nervous dog! I felt Noodles was well taken care of and enjoyed his time away from us hanging out with other small dogs. Would book again. Thank you Sandy!!”

“We LOVED our experience with Jennifer! She was wonderful with our sweet Luna. She sent updates with photos to assure us that Lu was very comfortable with her, her family and family pets. There's nothing better than to find someone who clearly loves animals and takes such great care. Highly recommend her!”

“Rosemary went above and beyond with our timid pup. She let him warm-up at his own pace and was calm and patient — she followed his lead. I won’t hesitate to leave Herbie with Rosemary again, she’s a gem!”

“Amber provided excellent care. Otis had a great time! We wanted Otis to experience more socialization with other dogs and he had two days of fun and playing with Amber and her family. Her location is perfect for travel out of PDX.”

“Jared has always gone above and beyond watching my Pomeranian. He is very prompt with communication and quick to reply. And able to work with my sometimes hectic schedule and flight delays. He even helped me jump start my car when my car died outside their house after dropping off my dog! I will continue booking with them whenever I am on work trips.”

“Kristen did an excellent job of taking care of our dog. She sent pictures daily and our dog really enjoyed spending time with her dog! We would definitely go to Kristen again. Thanks Kristen!”

“Araceli & her husband were amazing!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They took care of our Sullivan for 2 weeks while we were on our honeymoon, and their updates, messages, and pictures reflected their commitment to ensuring that our baby felt safe and comfortable. When Sully had a bit of an allergy flareup on his nose, they were quick to notify me and give him some ointment. It truly seemed that they cared for our pup as they would their own. I HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for a sitter. 💜 They are truly lovely!!”

“Eric & Emily are amazing with Sadie. This was a quick overnight trip and they were so accommodating. We're hoping they'll always be available for Sadie whenever we need to go out of town. I can't imagine a better family watching out for our Sadie.”

“Margaret was absolutely WONDERFUL! Jameson had such a great time spending the weekend with her and her family. She walked and played with him and was sure to send pictures of their great time together. We would highly recommend her.”

“Emily and her dog, Bowie, were the perfect hosts for our dog, Maxie. Emily was communicative, sent lots of pictures, and followed all care instructions. We could tell Maxie had a great time!”

“Josh is a true dog lover and dogs know it immediately. He has twice watched our Boston Terrier, once in the form of visits to our house when a new pup, and most recently overnight at Josh’s house for almost a week. In both cases Doc had a wonderful time and was well cared for.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Christine and Steven! They were generous in setting up a meet and greet as this was our dog’s first time staying with them. They are caring and responsive, and we really appreciated the photos and updates about our pup!”

“Holly and her entire family were so nice to take Cosmo in. She sent pictures often, and Cosmo had a great time. I loved that Cosmo found a buddy in her teenage son. He came back tired and happy after my week away.”
“I enjoyed our sitting experience with Karilla! She was communicative, prompt, friendly, and sent pictures throughout my dog’s stay. I would book with her again! Thank you Karilla :)”

“Erin took such great care of Theo and gave us frequent photo updates on our little guy. He got along and I'm pretty sure made great friends with their dog as well. Overall really wonderful experience and would trust Erin to care for Theo again!”

“Danielle made it so easy to make a last minute beach trip happen, and was so communicative and easy going the whole way. Amazing yard space that my dog just loved!!”

“If you're looking for a family setting for your dog that has never been boarded, then Ann is the perfect fit. Her girls and their dog Pepito welcomed Jack into their home as if he belonged there all along. Ann communicated, sent pics/updates about Jack and provided us with a sense of relief that Jack was in the right place. Thank-you!”

“We’ve partnered w Josh for years and he’s been responsive, reliable, communicative and fun EVERY TIME! He’s the best and we feel lucky to have a connection him!”
“Tayla was fantastic with two shy kitties! She was punctual with daily check-ins and sent updates with plenty of photos to ease my worry. Both cats were happy and well cared for. Tayla was thoughtful with her care and even suggested separate feedings to ensure Oona didn’t go hungry. We hope to rebook with Tayla for our next trip!”

“As a pet sitter myself on Rover myself, I was searching for someone who would care for my cat and home the way I do for others. After reviewing Athena’s reviews and seeing how my cat reacted to her at the meet and greet, I felt pretty confident. Wow - my snobby senior boy warmed up to her presence pretty darn quick. After traveling for 30 hours back home, it is honestly such a great feeling that our home and pet (and plants) were very well taken care of. I am thrilled to have found someone I now trust, and will 100% be calling her again on our next trip! Thank you so much Athena!”

About: i have a 12 year old cat right now i have had her whole life. ever since i have a memory i had a cat. i took care of every single cat i’ve grown up with. and now am the friend who takes care of my friends cats when they are out of town

About: In the past I have fostered cats from hoarding and abusive situations. I am very good at reading a cats body language and respecting their boundaries. I love playing with cats and showering them in affection and praise. I’ve been around cats since I was a baby. They are my all time favorite animal.

“We are so so grateful for Felicia! She has become our go-to pet sitter. The consistent and thoughtful updates for my two cats keep my mind at ease while I’m traveling! :)”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. I’m incredibly empathetic toward animals (I don’t even kill bugs!), so every pet in my care is treated with gentleness, patience, and genuine love. The dogs in my photos are my beloved old pups (Milo the Golden Retriever and Yoshi the Shih Tzu) Milo was 8wks when I got him and Yoshi was 5wks — I don’t currently have any dogs, but I do have two friendly cats at home. Lucy my tiny little black cat🖤 and Foggy my orange menace 🧡 (both rescues) I have hands-on experience caring for and training my own dogs over the years, from large breeds like Dobermans to small breeds like Shih Tzus. I’ve also had cats my entire life so growing up half my cats were kitties I found, some even needing bottle feeding. I'm comfortable with all things feline — from playful kittens to independent seniors. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve cared for chickens, birds, and many other kinds of pets throughout my life. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. With me, your pet won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for like family. 💛 Haaay! 🌾 *ba-dum tss* As you see being a stand up comedian wasn’t my calling so here I am 🥲 My name is way too long so I just go by Mari I’m a stay-at-home mom with lots of free time and even more love to give your fur babies! I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom! 😎 I currently live in Vancouver, Being home most of the day means I can give your pet plenty of attention, care, and one-on-one time. I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekdays from 7am–4pm and Sundays from 7am–1pm, with flexibility whenever possible to help fit your schedule (I remember how hard it was finding help when I had my pups and ended up taking them to work with me) Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, a potty break, or extra cuddles, I’m always happy to help! We will spend much time out exploring, enjoying fresh air, getting in plenty of movement and mental stimulation. Walks, sniff breaks, and outdoor adventures are very important to me in order to keep a pup happy and healthy! I’d love to be your fur baby’s (and yours!) new friend and help make their day (also yours!😌) a little brighter!✨🐾🩷 Expect lots of cute photos and videos so you can see your fur baby’s enjoying every walk, play session, and cuddle break.📸 Your fur baby's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities — they’ll get plenty of love, cuddles, and care, and will feel right at home!🩷

“John took a late booking to stay with our three cats for the weekend, and we are so pleased that he did! John was communicative in the booking process, scheduled a meet and greet that worked well for our schedule, came prepared, took notes, and immediately spoke cat language, putting us at ease. John gave fun updates, and enjoyed snuggles with our kitties. When we came home our kitties were relaxed and happy, clearly well cared for and attended to. The house was in great shape, respected and cared for. We will call on John again!”

“I was worried about leaving my cat for the first time, but Erin took great care of him! I received regular updates and pictures, and the apartment was spotless. Thank you so much ☺️”

“Allison is a very easy person to talk with and is sensitive to owners' concerns about their pets. She is thoughtful and reliable and is also easy to communicate and negotiate with. Highly recommend!”

“We cannot thank Dana enough for watching our two cats! She was amazing and sent us updates the entire time. She was thorough and asked questions about each cat’s specific needs. We would absolutely work with her again.”

About: I haven't had as much experience caring for cats outside of my own as I have with dogs. I have had my own cat for 10 years, but as any cat parent knows, each cat has a very unique personality. I look forward to gaining new experience in caring for cats, and I am confident in my ability to do so.

About: During my time at the Humane Society, I had the opportunity to care for cats alongside dogs. While my cat experience is still growing, I'm comfortable with basic care like feeding, litter box maintenance, and making sure they feel safe and unstressed in their own environment. I understand that cats are independent on their own terms, and I respect that. I'm patient, observant, and always happy to follow whatever routine works best for your cat

About: I am a nurse, but I have always wanted to work with dogs, and I see this Pet Care opportunity as a chance to fulfill my childhood dream. I'm thrilled with this pet care opportunity because of my deep love for animals. I believe my nursing experience will be valuable, as caring for patients has taught me compassion and attention to detail, which I hope to bring to the pets in your care. I would love to contribute to your team and learn from your experiences in pet care. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to connecting and sharing our mutual enthusiasm for animals. I am happy to adjust my schedule if needed to help out, so please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific times. Looking forward to your response. I understand how important your pet is to you, and I am committed to providing attentive, loving care that ensures their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I strive to engage with animals in ways that help them feel secure and appreciated, including maintaining familiar routines. My home features a spacious, fenced yard where we enjoy daily walks and playing fetch. I have experience caring for my own pet, Macy and in my childhood other animals such as parrots, fishes, and even a monkey. One of my favorite moments with dogs is play fetch—seeing their excitement always reminds me just how rewarding caring for animals can be. I take my responsibilities seriously and am always eager to learn more about each pet’s unique personality and age. To help maintain a safe environment, I kindly ask that your dog be protected with Simparica or a similar product recommended by your preferred veterinarian, such as Frontier, which guards against ticks and fleas Please let me know if you have any specific concerns, preferences, or special requests. I am open to feedback and happy to adapt to your pet's unique needs and routines. I am available for a meeting any day this week to discuss your loved one’s requirements, and after our meeting I will tailor my care to your pet’s needs. About: I grew up with a black lab for nearly 14 years as a child and come from a family of Labrador lovers. I now take care of my own gentle giant black lab who I got to train as a service animal myself. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and running off energy! I am very loving and passsionate person towards dogs, they love my ear and belly rubs and often love to cuddle if that's their thing! My favorite things to do with dogs is taking them for adventures to the park/forest, river/lakes and the snow during wintertime. I am no stranger to labrador breeds but also have experince with Shepard and border collie breeds the most, as well as many others here and there. I've had my fair share of sick dogs, whether it be ear infection to cancer and know the emotional roller coaster and/or hassle of giving medications and can show the dogs lots of empathy if this is something that would be needed. I always treat dogs like their my own and would want the best for your pup just like I would for my own girl! I work non-traditional hours which means I frequently have a lot of days off in a row and then work once a week with 12 hrs in one day. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.
“Shannon is very communicative and took the time to do a meet and greet. She also was mindful of the heat and even went out of her way to bring a package in for me. Thanks Shannon!”

I am a full time student online so I am very flexible. I am available all morning and afternoons. Night time care needs to be communicated prior. I will be taking of the pet in the clients home, as I have roommates at mine. I will follow all instructions the pet parents communicate with me and I will report any strange behaviors. Communication is very important to me. I will ask before doing anything that isn’t written on their list of instructions.

“Jade was really great with my dog, Ember who can sometimes be reactive on walks. It was a relief to have someone who has a lot of knowledge and experience care for her while I'm at work, plus my pup loved her. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: As your pet sitter, I am not just watching your animals; I am getting to know them. From their routines to their quirks, I care for every dog and cat like they’re my own, so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have been housesitting and caring for other people's pets for over a decade. As a pet parent myself, I also know that clear communication and photo updates are a must so that you can feel confident and relaxed while you are away that your babies are being well taken care of. Currently, my schedule is open so that I have all the time to dedicate to your furry family members! For overnight care I do request a minimum of 2 nights. I will take care of walks, feedings, litter boxes for cats [if requested] and easily administered medications. If staying overnight I will treat your house like my own. I can bring in mail, take out trash, and water plants if needed.

“Devin helped me out with the last-minute booking to walk my dog from my hotel while I was working at an event. It was good to have peace of mind that he wasn’t stuck alone all day. She was responsive and flexible about the schedule.”

About: I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking that are tailored to your pet's personality, routine, and needs. Whether that looks like a long walk, an energetic game of fetch, or simply settling in for cuddles and calm bonding time, I make sure every pet gets the attention and activity that suits them best. My experience comes from hands-on work at a Humane Society and past pet sitting opportunities, where I worked with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. From shy rescues adjusting to new environments to high-energy dogs who need an outlet, I've learned how to read animals quickly and respond to what they actually need in the moment. Whatever your pet's personality, I've probably met one just like them, and I know how to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Right now, I have a wide open schedule, which means I'm able to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Whether it's an early morning, late evening, last-minute booking! Whether I'm house sitting, stopping in for a drop-in visit, or out on a walk, I treat every pet like they're my own. When I house-sit, I stick to your pet's normal routine, keeping the same feeding times, sleeping spots, and rules. Drop-in visits are attentive and unhurried, and walks are tailored to your dog's pace and energy level.

About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood - I grew up alongside both cats (Kiki, Jenny) and dogs (Bailey and Fenton), which taught me early on how different (and wonderfully quirky) each species can be. Over the years I've pet sat for many families, handling everything from daily walks and feeding routines to those cats who pretend they don't need you...until they do. I have a special soft spot for small pets and genuinely love the one-on-one time that daily walks and drop-in visits offer. Your pet won't just be checked on, they'll be fussed over! I work from home most days, which means your pet is never just waiting around for someone to show up - I'm already here, or nearby and flexible. My schedule allows me to offer drop-ins and walks at consistent times, which pets (especially dogs) really thrive on. I plan visits and walks the way most people plan meetings: they're on the calendar and they happen. I'm a creature of habit, which works out great for animals who depend on routine. Whether it's a midday drop-in for your cat or an afternoon walk for your dog, I show up on time, every time. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd want shown in mine. I follow your pet's routine - their feeding schedule, their favorite spots, the words they respond to, the toys they love. I'm not there to do things my way; I'm there to make your pet feel like you never left. I always send updates with photos so you can see for yourself how they're doing. I have a genuine soft spot for small animals. I understand that small dogs and cats can be more sensitive to strangers and new energy, so I take my time letting them warm up to me rather than rushing the interaction. Calm, patient, and consistent - that's my approach.

“Erin has been walking our pup for a couple of weeks now and we concur with previous reviews with regards to her communication and friendliness. Our pup already has a routine in our new neighborhood! We feel completely comfortable with Erin checking in on Clara, and look forward to the report cards and photos!”

About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. Currently working a reduced amount with most of it being from home, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Free/flexible most hours, besides evening on the weekends(and even then, I could potentially work something out with enough time). I enjoy long walks and exercise, and love playing with animals, so I'm your guy if your dog needs a long walk or an hour of nothing but fetch. I grew up walking a stubborn 100+ lb. dog, so I know how to control them if they get a little too excited sometimes.
“Felicia has been walking Mocha regularly for a few weeks now and we have nothing but glowing reviews! She is an excellent communicator and very in tune with our Mocha and building trust with a nervous pup. Recently, our dog has been recovering from an injury and Felicia has done such a great job adjusting her activities with Mocha to fit her needs right now 😊”

Thank-you!”

“Elaine is my go-to sitter for my pup, Goose! She’s playful and full of energy, and always gets plenty of playtime and socialization with other dogs during her visits. Elaine is incredibly accommodating, even with last-minute bookings and flexible pick-up times. She also sends lots of updates and fun videos, which I really appreciate while I’m away. Highly recommend booking with her—you and your pup will be in great hands!”

“This was Reggie’s first time staying with Kris. It’s was pretty hot those 3 days and 2 nights but luckily Kris’ air conditioned home kept out hound cool and they played in the doggy pool to cool off during the day. We appreciated the photos and updates Kris provided. We would definitely recommend Kris.”

“Our dog didn't want to come home! I think she would've loving living with Lisa for the rest of he life which I think is the biggest compliment you can give a dog sitter.”

“Michael is very attentive and our pups seem very happy to spend time with him. While they can sometimes be tentative with new people and places, they both are quite chill at drop off. This is our second time booking with Michael and will continue to!”
“This was my first time boarding my dog with Elaine and I would do it again. I was out of service for the 4 days that my pup stayed with her, but when i got back into service I saw that she sent photos of big stretches and him chilling with the other dogs each day. Elaine and her family were welcoming to my pup and I would recommend her as a sitter or boarding option for sure.”
“Kristopher and his family did a wonderful job oc caring for Mochi. They are experienced and took time to learn about her specific needs prior to care. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing someone to take care of their fur baby and would use them again should the need arise. 5/5!”

“Colleen is AMAZING I 100% recommend. I am always hesitant about leaving my golden retriever with someone, considering how hyperactive he can be… but Colleen reassured me that this was no problem and made me feel at ease with how much experience she has with dogs! She is also super kind and easy to get along with. She sent me updates while on my trip to Seattle and communicated extremely well!”
“I have two dogs, one of which has separation anxiety pretty bad. Hannah was able to make them feel safe and comfortable. She sent frequent updates and was flexible and communicative. She was by far the best pet sitter my boys have stayed with.”

“Another AMAZING stay for my dog Sonoma with Debbie. I think he secretly likes it better at her house than he does at home! He is always so excited to go over there and I love all the updates and pictures I get!”

“We are fussy about our dog sitters as our pets are family. Lindsay and her dog Ernie provided a safe and nurturing environment for our dog Susanna. Lindsay is very knowledgeable in canine behavior. She took time at our meet before the stay to observe our dog asking important questions about her care and personality. We left Susanna in her care fully confident she would be in good hands. Susanna had multiple walks each day and plenty of outdoor time in the big back yard. She also lounged on the couch cuddling with Lindsay....what could be better?! We were updated via text and photo which made us feel even better about her placement. When we picked her up after our trip Lindsay bent down to say goodbye and Susanna gave her a sweet lick on the face...so dear. We will happily use Lindsay and Ernie again. Thank you!”
