I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life. I have periodically been a pet sitter for 5 years. I currently work at an animal hospital in Portland, OR as a kennel assistant. I also have experience working at a doggie daycare.

Julia was great! Both of our cats were well cared for and seem to have really enjoyed their time with her. We came backs to a clean house and happy cats. What more could we ask. We will definitely use Julia again the next time we go out of town.

Schedule
I work Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm every week. Other than that I’m very flexible I have all weekend open and weekdays before and after my job.

Every home and animal have different needs and environment’s. I would follow instructions specifically given by owners and parents to provide and safe and fun atmosphere for every pet.
Pets
A typical day
I’m very adaptable to each pet's needs. If your pet is very active we can go for hikes/walks that I’m comfortable on and take my dog on often. I can also take your dog to sniff spots which are private dog parks. If your pup is older and needs short/ no walks and just wants company on the couch I have no problem doing that as well. For the kitties, I have fun toys and mental enrichment toys that my cat loves and doesn’t mind sharing. But I also understand that some cats would rather have their space from humans which I can also care for.

- It’s very important to me that I have all the information I need to take care of your pet and make sure they are safe at all times. Examples of important details would be medication, how they take medications, stress caused by anything, aggression caused by anything, veterinary information, emergency contacts, allergies, etc.
