Pet care is central to my daily routine! With my own dog at home, I'm already structured around morning walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and evening wind-downs. Now that I'm building my Rover business, I've built my schedule specifically to prioritize pet sitting. I work part-time at a gym, but those hours are flexible and planned around the pets I'm caring for. Whether it's house sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walks, I make sure every pet gets consistent attention, exercise, and the routine they're used to.

For house sitting and drop-in visits, I follow your pet's existing routine to a T—feeding times, walk schedules, medications (if needed), and any quirks or preferences your dog has. I'm a great communicator, so you'll get regular photo/video updates and can reach me anytime. I keep things calm and structured while also making sure there's plenty of playtime and affection. Your home will be respected and secure, and your pet will feel safe and loved. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog's energy level and needs—whether that's a brisk neighborhood stroll or a more leisurely sniff-and-explore session. Safety and enjoyment are my top priorities.

A typical day
I love keeping things fun and engaging! Depending on your dog's personality, we might play fetch or tug-of-war with their favorite toys, explore the neighborhood on walks, practice basic training commands with treats, or just enjoy some quality cuddle time on the couch. If your pup is social and it's a good fit, I'd love to introduce them to my dog for supervised playdates—she's friendly and loves making new friends. Every dog is different, so I always adjust activities to match their energy and preferences!

Hi there! I'm Mitch, and I've been a devoted dog dad since adopting my pup in 2018, but my love for dogs goes back even further—about 9-10 years of hands-on experience caring for furry friends. I recently decided to turn my passion for pet care into something more, and I'm building my Rover business with the goal of becoming your go-to, reliable pet sitter for the long haul. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your dog when you travel or have commitments—that's why I'm here. I want to give you total peace of mind so you can go live your life knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands. What sets me apart? I'm organized, communicative, and deeply loyal. You'll get regular updates, and I treat every dog like they're my own. I thrive on structure and routine (dogs love that!), but I also know how to have fun—toys, playtime, and if your pup gets along with mine, we can make it a party! My dog is super social and loves making new friends. I live in a cozy condo with a small yard and a walkable neighborhood, perfect for daily strolls and outdoor time. While I'm new to the Rover platform, I'm fully committed to building lasting relationships with clients who value reliability and genuine care. Mitchell was great!! My wife and I were home for a week, and Mitchell helped watch our two dogs (cattle dog and a Dalmatian boxer mix). He was extremely communicative, very reliable and trustworthy, helped us feel at ease while away with him sending updates and photos, and when we arrived home from our trip our house was even cleaner than we left it! 10/10 would recommend him to anyone in need of a good dog sitter. We plan to book Mitchell again!
