My schedule is very flexible because my classes are fully online. I am seeking more regular walks, drop-in visits, and sitting work. My school can be adjusted to fit working needs.

Information Orion K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your animal needs any sort of special accommodations for medical conditions, disabilities or medications I'll need to administer. I have experience giving solid and liquid medication to cats and dogs, as well as injected medication. I'm more than happy to provide these extra services to ensure your animal is well looked after! And I will do so in the gentle and easiest ways I've learned to do it in my work at clinics.
A typical day
I'll make sure the animals are well taken care of! For dogs, I'll ensure they have food and water, play with them, take them out for some exercise which might entail a walk and/or trip to a nearby park! I'm also open to taking dogs on hikes. For cats, I'll ensure their basic needs are met as well, and I'm more than happy to provide exercise (ie play-time), as well as anything that could be additionally enriching, like turning on Cat TV for them! Let me know anything unique in your animals' routine that you'd like me to follow.

Pet care experience
Hello! I go by Shiloh. My pronouns are they and them. I'm currently studying veterinary technology at Ashworth College. I've always had animals at home, including cats, dogs, and small animals! I also used to volunteer to socialize animals and walk dogs at SPCA of Anne Arundel County for 3 years. This included giving affection to cats, dogs, and small animals while helping to connect individuals with potential adopters as well as walking dogs. I used to walk dogs outside of volunteer work too, but I was only doing it for volunteering for a bit due to being busy. I have hands on experience fostering puppies in the past, as well as having experience fostering an adult dog. I'm fully vaccinated for COVID-19. My first priority is to make sure that your animals have their basic needs, like food, water and exercise. But another major priority of mine is to be flexible in providing anything they may seem to want enrichment from in the moment, such as play or cuddles.

Reviews

Orion did an AMAZING job. I was super nervous about leaving my dogs (including a very senior dog with some medical issues) with anyone and I’m so glad I found Orion. They were incredibly responsible and detail oriented. They made sure my dogs were comfortable and well taken care of, plenty of walks, love and company. They clarified instructions and asked me how many updates I wanted. I SO appreciated the pictures and the check ins a few times a day letting me know how they were doing. My dogs loved them and I plan on using them in the future! They cleaned up and were punctual and I felt comfortable and trusted them in my house.
Reliable! Wonderful! Treats our dogs with as much love as we do!

Orion is our go-to for all of our dog sitting services! They are so great with our babies and we are so grateful!
Orion was wonderful. Thank you so much!
