Loving, Experienced Pet Care Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up caring for all kinds of pets — dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, hamsters, fish, reptiles, and even a pet lobster! I bring that same lifelong love and calm, nurturing energy to every pet I meet. Services I Offer: Boarding: I provide a quiet, safe home environment with a backyard and a nearby tree-lined, grassy park for walks and playtime. Pets boarding with me can sleep in my bedroom, and I’m home full-time to care for them. Drop-in Visits: Available in the Belmont neighborhood of Portland. I’ll visit your home regularly to feed, walk, and care for your pet while you’re away. Doggy Day Care: Spend the day with me! I love taking dogs on great walks and bringing them to the park. Walks: Customized walks tailored to your pet’s needs and energy levels. Experience Includes: Dogs of all sizes (including shy, senior, or high-attention pups) Cats (kittens to seniors) Rabbits and small animals Daily updates, photos, and responsive communication My priority is always your pet’s well-being — ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Alexandra was great! We made this booking with little time to spare, but she made time to come meet our shy dog and know all the ins and outs before her stay. She was very communicative, followed care instructions perfectly with our dog who is healing from surgery, and left the house in great condition.
Alexandra was able to accommodate a last minute request! I also really appreciated her flexibility to work around my crazy schedule as well. Most of all, my babies looked relaxed and happy around her.
Pets were well taken care of and everything went very smoothly.
Alexandra is amazing. She not only took care of our house but did wonderful with our baby Rousey. I would recommend everyone to her and will be booking again!

I always respect your home’s rules and routines, and I make sure your pets stay on their normal schedule so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to take care of small household tasks such as bringing in mail, watering plants, and keeping everything tidy. I’ve been pet and house sitting for over three years and have received 25+ five-star reviews from pet and homeowners on the Trusted Housesitters app. References are available anytime — I want you to feel completely comfortable and confident while your pets are in my care.
A typical day
A typical day with me is active, enriching, and tailored to your pet’s energy level. We might start with a trip to a local park for a walk or a run, followed by some playtime or fetch to burn off energy. If your dog enjoys water, we can spend time swimming in your pool for a low-impact workout. I also love incorporating gentle dog-friendly stretching (yoga for dogs!) to help them relax, and yes — I even dance with dogs who enjoy movement and music. Throughout the day, your pet gets plenty of companionship, affection, and fun activities that keep them happy, stimulated, and relaxed.

To make sure I’m the right fit for your pet, it’s important for me to know their personality, daily routine, energy level, and any special needs before confirming a booking. Please share anything that helps me understand how to best support your pet — including behavior quirks, triggers, medical needs, or anything that makes them feel safe and happy. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide calm, attentive care.
