“Peter and Missy are fantastic! They took excellent care of our dogs and provided daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. The only other time we have used this service to book care, the caregiver was also watching about six other dogs and we only got one brief note in the middle of the stay. With Peter and Missy, they only had one other dog for a short part of the stay, but the rest of the time it was just our dogs and theirs, Gunner. One of our dogs is blind and the other one is very needy, so we are always a little worried, but we did not have to be concerned at all. It was obvious that they were being given all the attention and care that we would hope for, and they became fast friends with Gunner. We will 100% use Peter and Missy in the future!”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up, I used to care for stray dogs in my neighborhood and even raised a puppy outside. After I started my own family, I continued looking after animals whenever I could. I adopted a Tibetan Mastiff mix and raised him for three years. Unfortunately, when we had to move, we weren't able to bring him with us, so he stayed with our relatives. Since then, I've continued helping animals in need. I cared for a stray rabbit for a short time until my neighbor adopted him, and I also looked after a stray cat that I became very attached to. Sadly, after I went away on a short vacation, she never came back. Now I foster animals in my home. So far, I've cared for an American Pit Bull mix and a small 5-week old black kitten for four weeks. Taking care of animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I love being able to give them a safe and caring place while they need it. I work from home and have flexible hours, which allows me to easily adjust my schedule around pet care. I’m able to provide attention, visits, and care throughout the day as needed, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I also like to go on walks at the nearby park, which is great for giving dogs exercise and fresh air. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I follow their normal routine, give them food and water on schedule, and pay close attention to their behavior and needs. In my home, I provide a calm and clean environment where pets can feel relaxed and at ease. I also make sure they are supervised and get plenty of attention and care. If I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully so their pet feels secure and cared for in their usual environment.

About: One of my passions in life is pets and caring for them. I have a massive soft spot for silly “Golden Retriever energy" and a special place in my heart for seniors. I’m new to this paid pet drop-in gig, but I have cared for pets and children (including those with disabilities) nearly all my life. A quick note on fit: To keep things safe and happy for everyone, I only sit for friendly, non-aggressive dogs. I want to make sure I can give your pup 100% of my attention in a relaxed setting! About: I've been passionate about animal care ever since I started my first pet-sitting business at 15. I still remember my first clients: A family with an older cat and a family with two pomeranian puppies. While I love dogs and can take care of them, my specialty is feline friends! About: I enjoyed decades of loving and caring for my own dogs and cats, though their long, healthy lives. Through that I became familiar with medicating, training and creating happy lives for those lovable souls. My work on Rover hosting and house-sitting has been rewarding for the pet families I've supported, and for myself. I've hosted my neighbor's small older dog Marty for a week or long weekends and often assist my friend (a Star Sitter!) with walks and general attention/care when visiting them. My son's cats and hedgehog are happy to stay with me when they travel. My work is part-time, and I'm typically a home body. I'm generally open to distraction, the sort that I expect to encounter with pets, and the break from work routine is very welcome to me. I'm able and willing to let your pet wander my home and fenced back yard. As they like, I enjoy providing affection and head, back, belly rubs and scruffs. I'm happy to tune my hours to meet a unique feeding or meds schedule.
