“Gigi and Sparkle Moon must have had a good time with Barbara! I got updates every day of their adventures and our house was also spotless when we got back last night and the doggies were happy to see us (and tired -always a good thing) And did I mention the treats she made that she left for us? Delicious and unexpected. 💕 Barbara gets our highest recommendation if you need a reliable, kind and loving pet sitter. So glad we found her over the holidays for the crew.”

“Char and Ben were fantastic pet sitters for my two Danes. It was obvious from the meet and greet that they had experience and were very comfortable around X-lg dogs! The communication and photos were top notch. My dogs are quirky and Char and Ben were able to work with them on their picky eating and fear of the floor register. The Danes were very content when I came home so I knew they had gotten their needs met while I was gone. Bodhi is now moping around as he misses his new buddies. Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.”

“Skyler was great! Did an amazing job taking care of our pups and keeping the house in one piece. Communication was on point, sending updates each day. Would definitely rebook in the future. Highly recommended!”

“Kayla was extremely communicative and from the moment I saw her with my pets I knew they would be comfortable and relaxed with her company. She sent lots of photos and updates throughout the stay, and I felt very grateful to have her watching our house!”

“Shannon was great with our 5-month-old Border Collie puppies for a 3-day house/dog sit. They are a handful, and both dogs and house were in great shape, upon our return. Shannon is punctual and a solid communicator. Highly recommended.”

“River was great! Very communicative and happy to send pictures/updates throughout. She generously accommodated some scheduling snafus between us, and additionally was happy to come meet him before the trip to ease into things. Importantly, she was happy to ask questions as needed. Our dog requires patience and exhibits some odd (charming) traits, and she was happy to learn how to accommodate a dog like that and get to know and meet his needs. While our dog was happy to see us, he wasn't overly relieved we were back, either :)”

“Scott was communicative and provided great care for our pups! He came and met the dogs ahead of time, which was really nice. He was very easy going throughout the whole process. Thank you!”

“Dey was a fantastic house sitter, so easy to work with, and took great care of our dog. Not only was Dey super responsive, but I think my house was cleaner than I left it.”

“Anna was able to watch my kitty last minute and on a holiday. She was very professional, great communication, sent me lots of pictures, and would love to have her back any time. :)”

“Tyler is one of the best Rovers I have ever booked! He followed all of my care instructions and kept me updated on how the dog was doing. The photos he sent me made me feel at ease. I will definitely book him again!”

“I booked Helen to stay at my place and cat sit for 4 days. She communicated well, provided consistent updates, and took great care of my cats and my place. I had peace of mind for my trip. Definitely recommend!”

“Jasper is attentive, positive, caring, and fun! Appreciate the questions Jasper asked in our first meet and greet-they really captured everything. Our dog, Fennel, loves Jasper. We received just the right amount of updates from them. We would highly recommend Jasper as a pet sitter!”

“I am so grateful to Sparkle for taking such great care of our pooch and our home. I contacted Sparkle months before our 3-week vacation and we set up a few appointments to help Ozzie get comfortable and to make sure Sparkle was cool with him. All worked well and we had a great 3-week-long vacation! She was responsive and professional, and left us with a freshly vacuumed home and sheets in the dryer (I did not request this).”

“Erin took great care for our pups! She definitely has a great love for your pets! It is helpful to be at peace while you’re away! She also house sit as well and kept everything organized. Thank you Erin! We will use her again! She is a great pet lover! By the way Annie is a pup 4 months now!”

“Ethan was so helpful with my kitties! They took great care of my two cats and my home. In addition, my senior cat has special needs for both food and medicine administration and Ethan was really helpful in that as well.”
“Aaron was a fantastic cat sitter. He gave my asthmatic cat, Tiger, her inhaler like an absolute pro, sent wonderful photo updates the whole time, and was incredibly conscientious. He left the house spotless, and somehow even won over my very shy kitty, Flora, by the end she was rubbing up against his legs like they’d been best friends for years. Highly recommend.”

Irvington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily looked after our one year-old puppy for a couple days while we had to go out of town at the last minute. Murphy seemed happy and content when we got home and the house was in great shape. Emily also looked out for packages that got delivered and helped bring those in. Thank you so much!

Anna was a good communicator, asked great questions, and took good care of both my pup and my home. My border collie, Alsea, is super high-energy and Anna seemed to handle it well. The house was clean and Alsea was tired (in a good way) and well-adjusted when I got home. I will definitely call Anna again for future pet sitting needs!

Madeline could not have been more excellent! I felt so comfortable leaving my cat Sunday and apartment in her hands while I was out of state for a week. She made sure to send me pictures and updates daily and left the apartment clean upon my return. She was professional, kind, and loving to my cat! I will definitely book her again in the future!

I highly recommend Emily! I have a nervous pup who had never done in-house sitting before and Emily helped her feel positive and comfortable about the experience. The house was in great shape and everyone was in good spirits upon my return. It was a comfort to know both my cat and dog were diligently cared for while I was away.

This was my third time booking with Jordan C, and once again, he exceeded expectations. He is consistently professional, reliable, and incredibly attentive. Jordan C took amazing care of Kitty Kitty and kept me at ease by sending multiple updates with photos of their walks and downtime together at home. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after, and that level of attention makes a huge difference. On top of that, he left my place just as clean and organized as I left it, which I really appreciate. I’m so grateful to have found Jordan C on Rover. If you’re reading this review and considering a sitter, look no further—Jordan C is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

Emily has been nothing short of amazing. I have a senior dog who takes scheduled meds, not my apartment isn't particularly low maintenance, and she's been wonderful. My dog loves her, and she sends daily updates. She was thorough in making sure she had everything she needed to care for my baby and my plants and I haven't had to stress a bit while I've been away. Would recommend her a million times over again.
