I’ve had animals of all kinds throughout my life and have several years of volunteering, fostering, and pet sitting under my belt. I love taking long walks and would be so happy to have a dog friend to accompany me. I’ve cared for cats and dogs young and old, and also have experience with rodents, reptiles, horses, and birds. I am interested in animal behavior, and I think that translates well into building trust with the pets I care for. Dogs seem to warm up to me quickly and I put effort into learning each dog’s unique personality and needs. I enjoy teaching dogs commands and love seeing their eyes light up with understanding as they connect a command with a behavior. I am a recent college grad currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m usually available at short notice. I studied psychology and found myself drawn to animal psychology and behavior. Rover has been a great experience for me and I deeply appreciate the time I get to spend with the pets that are entrusted in my care.
