If you are looking for someone who treats your fur babies like family *and* keeps you in the loop with updates and cute photos, you’re in the right place. 💛📸 🏳️⚧️ I’m a semi-recently out (2024) trans man (FTM)- part time animal care provider & photographer 📸, part time food entrepreneur & chef 👨🏻🍳- who partners exclusively with LGBTQIA2S+ and/or neurodiverse clients 🧠 🐾 I’m especially good with animals who are shy, anxious, or slow to trust (the “quiet nervous” ones who might hide, freeze, or tremble). As a trauma survivor who formed deep bonds with animals in my youth, I've become attuned to non-verbal distress signals - I adapt to each animal's communication style and go at their pace so they feel as safe and as in control as they can when meeting a new human. 💼 Experience includes overnight stays, local walks and/or nature hikes, drop-in care, basic training reinforcement, and medication support (oral and injected) 💊. Personally familiar with senior and special needs animal care. Unique animals welcome! Bonus ✨: You’ll also get a little “treat” yourself after each visit: emotionally expressive / photogenic photos of your lil (or gentle giant!) cuties 🥹 I love finding ways to bring out your furry loved one's unique personality on camera!! 🐕🦺⚠️ DOGS ONLY: Sadly, I'm not the right fit currently for dogs with a history of aggression. Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize crystal-clear communication during visits so you never have to wonder how your animal is doing. If you are tired of receiving only a few message updates and blurry photos- as I sometimes experienced when I initially used Rover as a client- you have landed on the right page. I try to create an experience that helps you feel as though you are there with us: expect plenty of photos, videos, and specific updates about how your fur baby is doing! FYI: The Rover app sometimes times out when I try to upload videos longer than ~1min in length. When that happens, I will still send photos and brief updates during the visit. However, please note I may need to send longer videos once I am home and connected to faster Wi-Fi. I am also happy to use a client’s Wi-Fi during the visit if they are comfortable providing access. Because I send detailed updates, you may receive quite a few messages from me :) You can rest assured that routine messages and photos mean everything is okay. If there is an emergency or another genuinely urgent concern, I will call you directly rather than relying only on an in-app message! I use a detailed Meet & Greet template to document care instructions thoroughly. As a detail-oriented neurodivergent caregiver, written instructions help me follow your animal’s routine carefully and step by step. I am also happy to use care instructions you have already created. I simply ask that they be sent through Rover messages or left as a clearly printed copy. Handwritten notes can be more difficult for me to read, and I want to ensure I understand and provide the exact care you requested! If anything unusual occurs- even if it seems small- I will let you know as soon as physically possible!! :) ---- For cat parents: I understand the anxiety around indoor cats slipping through doors, accessing an unsafe window, or finding another unexpected exit route. I remain vigilant about doors, windows, screens, and other potential feline hazards while entering, leaving, and moving through the home. Please let me know if there are any unique methods and/or routes your fur babies use!!

Max went above and beyond for KitKat! Thank you so much for accepting a last minute reservation and sending an abundance of kitty photos while we were gone. KitKat seemed relaxed and renewed and i think he had a great time with his new friend! 100/10 would book again.
I cannot overstate how great of a sitter Max is. My dog has cancer and requires very specific steps to get her chemo / antibiotics down. Max made it a point to let me know all these steps were followed and even tried new things himself when my pooch was being difficult. He put extra time, thought, and love into each appointment. Truly the best you could ask for.
Couldn’t be happier with Max and the care he puts into helping out with my dog. He’s compassionate and attentive and always goes the extra mile.
Max is such a wonderful sitter. Max went above and beyond to make sure my cat felt comfortable and really cared about making sure my cat felt safe and well taken care of. I would absolutely book with Max again!
Max took the best care of our family while my spouse and I were away! The house was left clean and tidy and our pets happy 😊 He took so many lovely pictures and made sure they felt loved.
Max is amazing with all three of our pets, he left the house looking better than we had it and is amazing at keeping up with communication. We received professional grade photos everyday of our pets while we were away and some videos too. We fully trust Max to watch our pets again.

Schedule
My availability is flexible yet intentionally managed: I will always cross-reference my calendars- including appointments and previously accepted commitments-before accepting any requests! Please note, my neurotype's periods of hyperfocus can sometimes make my response time(s) outside of an active booking- as I am of course highly responsive during a booking!! :) - more variable than neurotypical sitters. Rest assured though, I only accept bookings when I have the time and capacity to provide the safe, attentive, and considerate care described throughout my profile 🥹🫂❤️ And once I accept a booking, it is a real commitment- not something I casually fit in or overbook around 👔

- Please share leash reactivity triggers, guarding behaviors, escape habits, and any health or mobility concerns. Let me know what motivates your animal (treats, toys, praise), their comfort level with strangers and other dogs, and any medication details.
