Expert level with playful puppies to sweet senior dogs with a soft spot for seniors. I recently put my sweet old man down due to medical condition at the young age of 13, so if you have a special senior, I'm your girl! I volunteer at a local shelter once a week, so I'm exposed to all types of dogs with various temperament levels. Dogs are my favorite and I'll care for them just like my own- spoiled rotten! I do have a job however I have a different work schedule compared to a basic 9-5pm. I'm confident we can make something work! Drop me a message anytime. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow your pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. About: I have taken care of dogs for many years, from put bulls to chihuahuas, I have yet to meet a dog I didn’t love! I have grown up with dogs my whole life and I have learned how to care for and bond with dogs of all kinds. I would love to care for your furry friends! I am a recent college graduate and I am looking for a part time job while I wait for my graduate program to begin in the fall. My schedule is very flexible and I love taking long walks! I am a pet parent myself, so I am always very careful and cautious with my surroundings. I am aware of the many toxic substances to cats and dogs, I have learned their body language, and I am always interested in learning more about the individual pet to better care for them!

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!

About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. I have taken animal care and vet sciences in 4H and volunteered in an animal shelter. I can't imagine life without animals, they add so much joy to life. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors. Most of my days are 4 to 6 hours long with weekends off. I have a flexible schedule . Since my schedule is flexible I can adjust to you pets needs well so they are being fed and walked at their regular times to help reduce stress.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and absolutely love spending time with them! I grew up with several dogs, including a Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Husky, so I’m very comfortable caring for and being around larger, energetic breeds. Growing up with dogs taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are to keeping them happy and comfortable. I currently have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is still a big part of my everyday life. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their family is away. I’d treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and longer stays as needed. Having two pets of my own also means caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily routine! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care, so I always treat both with respect. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could affect your pet’s safety. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable and keep their routine as familiar as possible while you’re away.

About: Animals of all kinds have a special place in my heart, whether it's a dog or a cat :) I used to dog-sit for my mom's coworkers when I was in high school, and I've handled solo care for my family's highly active Border Collie/German Shepherd mix for anywhere from a few days to full months at a time. I'm patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy long walks & active time outdoors, which makes me a solid match for high-energy breeds that need real exercise and structure (also love to just chill and hang out with animals if that's more your pet's speed). Sadly don't have a pet of my own yet, so I would love to give your pet my time and attention while you're away! Hi there! I'm a 25 year-old grad student currently completing a master's program at UO's Portland campus. I'm currently on summer break, so I have ample time to spend with your pet and can be flexible if needed. Come October, I will be unavailable on Wednesday & Thursdays, but I can still provide the same time and flexibility. While I can't currently care for your pet(s) in my own apartment, I am happy to offer walking & sitting services at your home to keep your animal(s) in an environment they are comfortable with. Just let me know what your pet's routine is, and I will do my best to keep it consistent :)

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a child. My partner has also shared with me the many things they have learned from working in their mother's dog breeding business and at a company as a groomer. I have plenty of knowledge and experience and am ready to take care of your fur babies as if they were my own!! I'm currently not working at any other job than this one. This is my only source of income, so I am available all the time! I will take care of your home and pets, and bring my own needs and I will maintain the cleanliness of your home, and do as asked if there are instructions given.

About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

About: I have taken care, as both a dog parent and sitter, of many high energy hunting breeds such as GSP’s and Brittany Spaniels, and understand the necessity of patience, rigor, and consistency. I have a soft spot in my heart for senior dogs and am comfortable administering medicine, alongside lots of love. Personally, I have gentle crate trained two puppies and worked alongside professional trainers to encourage and support dogs in their training journey. I’m currently in school part time so have lots of free time for walks and visits. As a former food service veteran, I understand the need for last minute or emergency pet care and will always do my best to accommodate a dynamic and shifting schedule. I will always follow my clients lead and ethos when it comes to the care and comfort of your pet, giving them a warm and consistent experience across care. As a pet owner myself I know the anxiety of leaving your animal home alone, and aim to bring a calm and comforting energy to your pet and space, and holding gentle and firm boundaries to make sure everyone has the most fun possible! If you have specific training practices you are working on (leash, crate, etc.) I am more than happy to incorporate them into my routine.
