About: I grew up around both cats and dogs as well as an array of more ‘exotic’ pets such as birds, Guinea pigs and fish. I have taken care of pets from a very young age, not limited to the ones in my household. I have experience in walking, pilling, feeding, basic grooming and overnight care. I am committed to being adaptable and I am ready to love and care for your pet! I am currently a student so I am mostly available in the mornings and evenings as well as overnight, on the weekends I am much more flexible. About: Hello! My name is Kaelin, I have over 10 years of experience caring for people’s pets. In addition to in-home care, I have worked as a veterinary assistant for over two years where I have gained advanced understanding of dog and cat behavior. My experience includes caring for dogs and cats with a wide variety of needs, everything from newborn to seniors as well as specialized care for diabetic animals, disabled pets, and pets who are more timid or reactive. Medication administration and advanced care for special needs pets are always available at no extra cost. My availability is clear for dog walking, drop-in visits to your home, nail trims and grooming for this month :) An updated schedule will be available before the end of September, and I'm hoping we can set up regular visits for your pet! I am currently unavailable for overnight sitting due to my pets needing some advanced care right now, thanks for understanding! I treat every animal and person with respect, care, and empathy. When meeting a new pet, I always go slow and take time to introduce myself. Especially when on walks, paying attention to details is of high importance to me when ensuring the safety of the pet. Taking note of things like the fit of a harness/collar, gates being closed, hazards on the sidewalk, etc. My ultimate goal is for the experience to be fun, comfortable, but most importantly safe for everyone involved.
