I'm currently working part-time (will share more during the M&G), so I can be flexible to meet your pet's needs day or night, and even on short notice. I am free to give frequent walks and special attention when your pet needs them!

When taking care of pets in clients' homes, I always make sure that their needs are front and center. Since some of my work is remote, I can accommodate their needs and give them cuddles, attention, and round the clock care. I am also very attuned to pet body language, so I am able to provide relief for pets if they are nervous, cheer them up, and take care of any special needs that may arise.

Please let me know in advance if your pet has: ⭐️ special needs (e.g. constant care/separation anxiety/disabilities) ⭐️ special behaviors (e.g. resource guarding, leash reactivity, behaviors with particular triggers) ⭐️ a medication regimen ⭐️ activities they like/toys they enjoy so that I can ensure your pet has a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Please neatly organize your pet’s care information in a printed sheet or in a document. *IMPORTANT* policies to read before booking: ⚠️Please notify me if there is no free parking where you live; I invoice all parking which must be paid by the end of the stay. ⚠️ All no-shows (including not sharing address) for M&Gs will incur a $30 fee. ⚠️ Drop-ins, walks, and housesits with start/end times before 8 am or after 8 pm will incur a $15 fee. Housesits and drop-ins ending after midnight or starting before 6 am carry a $50 fee. ⚠️ Key pickups are $15. ⚠️ Cancellations within 24 hours of the start of the booking will not receive a refund. ⚠️ Housesitting pick-up and drop-off windows must be 1 hour or less. ⚠️ I am happy to be flexible in the event of potential plan changes or delays whenever possible, but these must be reflected with a booking modification. ⚠️ Ensuring I’m a good fit for the pets I care for is of the utmost importance. To honor this, we must do a trial overnight (or set of drop-ins) before stays 1 week or longer. ⚠️ I accept clients outside my service radius; these bookings will include a travel fee proportional to your home’s distance. ⚠️ Bookings including June 14 and December 20-31 will be charged at the holiday rate. ⚠️ Holiday housesitting bookings require a 2 night minimum.
A typical day
I have experience with pets of all activity levels, whether it be my own husky-mix needing constant walking and stimulation to the chillest couch potatoes who just want to vibe, sleep, and watch tv. No animal is too weird for me! I like to play with pets and their toys or make up silly games for them to have a great time, and I'm good at reading pets' signals for what they might want. If you have any specific requests for activities your dogs might want or need, please let me know and I will be happy to honor them! :)

Pet care experience
I've had dogs at home for nearly my entire life, and I've pet sit for dogs of all ages, ability levels, and sizes; over 30 different breeds! During the pandemic I also found my love for cats, and fostered one of my own, Alfie! So one could say I really love dogs and cats :). I have also cared for several other species throughout my petsitting career, including guinea pigs, snakes, bearded dragons, tarantulas, cockroaches, and others! Most of my own dogs have been rescues (and I've also pet sit many of them!), so my specialties are dogs and cats that are anxious, shy, or with other behavioral problems. From taking care of them, I've also mastered extremely complex and specific diets (especially those that require home cooking), food issues, medication administration, and tummy troubles. I’m a native born and raised, so I know the Portland area extremely well and take care of pets all over town! My favorite neighborhoods are Sylvan, Multnomah Village, Maplewood, Garden Home, Hillsdale, Hayhurst, and anywhere in the SW Hills; I know them all like the back of my hand! I’m very familiar with several other neighborhoods around town from my regulars and time living here.

Chloe has done overnight dogsitting with Moose, and we plan to have her stay with him again this summer, so we booked a walk just so they can stay acquainted with each other! Chloe followed the plan we set in advance and everything went well! Thanks for taking him for a potty break and feeding his afternoon snack!
Chloe was great with our dog Moose! Moose can be a little overexcited when new people first come over, and Chloe was patient and understanding. She made us feel confident his behavior was nothing she hasn’t handled before. When going over instructions, Chloe remembered little details we had talked about at the meet and greet. During her stay, Chloe was communicative and sent us plenty of pictures and updates so we knew everything was going well. We will definitely book with Chloe again!
Chloe was so sweet with our dog, Max! She did a meet and greet first which was so reassuring, and she took such good care of our little guy. I can tell she really cares about the pets she works with. We’ll definitely be using her again!
