I grew up around dogs and have had large dogs of my own. This taught me how to care for dogs of all temperaments and how to get to know each dogs preferred walking and play style. I enjoy getting to know each pets rhythms and keeping them conformable as they get their daily exercise. I also offer attentive drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship to help pets feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I provide dependable dog walking and drop-in pet care in Santa Monica for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I have experience with both puppies and senior pets, and I’m comfortable adapting care to each animal’s routine, personality, and needs. Outside of Rover, I’m a wildlife rescue volunteer and foster parent to cats, which has given me hands-on experience with animals from a wide range of backgrounds and temperaments. Whether it’s regular dog walking in Santa Monica or reliable drop-in visits, I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure every pet feels secure and cared for.

Having known Sophia for the last 23 years I know you couldn’t chose a more perfect caregiver for your pet.She has always loved all animals and has cared for her family , friends and relatives pets with responsible and tender loving care. She grew up with several family dogs and also has helped out on our family farm caring for chickens, bunnies, dogs, bees and cats. This past year Sophia and her roommates fostered rescue cats until they were adopted. She also volunteers with a marine rescue center and recently has been feeding baby elephant seals who were abandoned.. She had numerous customer service jobs while attending college and provided excellent customer service. Her great work ethic enabled her to graduate from college with 2 degrees in 3 1/2 years! Hardworking, reliable, loving, kind, lover of animals - a totally awesome young woman!!!

Schedule
I am currently on a gap summer before continuing my education, and enjoy pet sitting as a way to save up some money for school between volunteering and working on my summer research project.
