I know trusting someone with your pet can be a big decision. My goal is simple: to provide reliable care that makes your pet feel safe and comfortable, so that you can have peace of mind. No two animals are exactly alike, which is one of my favorite parts of this work. Every dog and cat has their own personality, routines, little quirks, and favorite ways to spend the day. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and providing care that’s tailored to them. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful pets, which has sparked my own interest in canine behavior, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. I'm always learning because I believe the more I understand animals, the better I can care for them. Every pet teaches me something new, and I love that this work allows me to keep growing. When you book with me, you can expect thoughtful care, dependable communication, and respect for both your home and your pet's routine. Whether it's making sure the right food goes to the right pet, securely fastening a leash, or confirming that the front door is locked before I leave, I take a moment to double-check the little things. I carefully follow the instructions you provide, communicate if anything unexpected comes up, and treat both your home and your pet with the same respect I'd want someone to show my own. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your pet can feel comfortable until you return.

My first sit with Freya - She took care of my home and cat for 10 days, getting her to come around and play which was unusual for my little Loner. She communicated well, followed my care instructions and indulged all my worrying with grace😊 I would recommend!
Freya was timely, communicative, tidy, and most importantly took great care of our two dogs!

Used Freya's services for a quick trip out of town and she made it easier to relax and enjoy time away. She was responsive, easy to communicate with and gave me updates. She followed my instructions for everything and also made some good attempts to engage with my cat who is fearful of strangers. It was clear she is dedicated to the service and I appreciated that. Everything was left in good order when the job was finished. Will use her again for sure!
I had Freya do a quick drop-in visit to prep her for some upcoming stays I booked. She was very attentive to my plethora of details and asked questions to ensure she understood. I was clear she really wants to provide great service and make sure my cat is well cared! It was a good beginning!
Freya did a good job of keeping my dogs comfortable while I was gone. They clearly liked her, got lots of play, and were happy and relaxed when I got home after a late flight. Definitely will re-book next time.

Schedule
I also work as a writer, which gives me a flexible schedule that varies depending on the pets I'm caring for. During house sits, I may step out for dog walks, drop-in visits, errands, or appointments, but I plan my day thoughtfully around the needs of every pet in my care. If your pet has specific scheduling requirements, I'm happy to discuss them before booking so we can make sure we're a great fit.
