I know trusting someone with your pet can be a big decision. My goal is simple: to provide reliable care that makes your pet feel safe and comfortable, so that you can have peace of mind. No two animals are exactly alike, which is one of my favorite parts of this work. Every dog and cat has their own personality, routines, little quirks, and favorite ways to spend the day. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and providing care that’s tailored to them. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful pets, which has sparked my own interest in canine behavior, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. I'm always learning because I believe the more I understand animals, the better I can care for them. Every pet teaches me something new, and I love that this work allows me to keep growing. When you book with me, you can expect thoughtful care, dependable communication, and respect for both your home and your pet's routine. Humans make mistakes, which is why I always double-check. Whether it's making sure the right food goes to the right pet, securely fastening a leash, or confirming that the front door is locked before I leave, I take a moment to double-check the little things. I carefully follow the instructions you provide, communicate if anything unexpected comes up, and treat both your home and your pet with the same respect I'd want someone to show my own. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your pet can feel comfortable until you return.

Freya did a good job of keeping my dogs comfortable while I was gone. They clearly liked her, got lots of play, and were happy and relaxed when I got home after a late flight. Definitely will re-book next time.

Freya was the most trustworthy sitter that we have ever had, she took immaculate care of all of our critters, including our little reptile. She kept the house perfectly clean and was extremely polite. We got tons of updates and excellent questions, one of the only sitters that actually asked for a care guide as well. We 100% will be asking her to house sit again, I couldn't imagine having someone better. Our dog in particular is extremely anxious and barks at anyone, but Freya was able to win her over on the meet and greet and had 0 trouble even though other sitters had bad experiences. My dog is incredibly difficult to work with and it's tough to find sitters that work with her.
Freya took care of our pup at our home and she respectful and great with communication. We would be happy to have her back at our home.

Schedule
I also work as a writer, which gives me a flexible schedule that varies depending on the pets I'm caring for. During house sits, I may step out for dog walks, drop-in visits, errands, or appointments, but I plan my day thoughtfully around the needs of every pet in my care. If your pet has specific scheduling requirements, I'm happy to discuss them before booking so we can make sure we're a great fit.
