About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. About: Animals of all kinds have a special place in my heart, whether it's a dog or a cat :) I used to dog-sit for my mom's coworkers when I was in high school, and I've handled solo care for my family's highly active Border Collie/German Shepherd mix for anywhere from a few days to full months at a time. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.
About: I grew up raising my two dogs, Nike and Sparky, since they were babies. Nike is a dachshund and Sparky is a little chunky chihuahua. They are both 11 years old. I also babysit my friend’s frenchie, Appa, when they go out of town. I currently work full-time, and am free in the evenings. I am also free during the weekends. About: We are a highly experienced dog family who has raised and cared for adopted street dogs for the last 15 years. We currently have two old friendly dogs in the house and they both get along great with other dogs and help to create a calm and obedient environment. One of us works from home and the other works part time so there is always someone around to care for your dog! We wake up early (5:30-6:30am), feed the dogs and let them out to the fenced yard. The rest of the day is pretty easy going - a couple nice walks and plenty of time outside and relaxing inside. We have an old dog with lots of medical needs, and we have also had puppies. So we are comfortable with any kind of dog care. We have a kindergarten daughter who loves dogs and knows how to interact with them properly as well.
