“Alex was really patient with my apprehensive whippet! He was extremely prompt when I messaged and was on time for the walk. I will definitely use him again in the future. My dog took a while to get going and get comfortable and Alex was patient and waited and guided him along. Really nice guy”

“Byron was so easy to work with! So glad we were able to find someone local a bit last minute, and really looking forward to working with him again in the future.”

“Kate was so sweet and personable! She genuinely has a love for dogs and treated my furbaby as if he was her own! :) She is also very responsive and professional and we truly appreciate her!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful. She communicated with me daily, let me know when Jammer needed things, and she showed him so much love. That’s all I can ask for. She updated the rover walking cards regularly, which was so nice to see! 100% will be using her services in the future. Thank you Libby!!”

About: Hi, I am Matthew. Over 10 years of experience in animal welfare. Love all creatures great and small! I am a dog daddy and my pup is named Yoko Ono! I currently work part-time at Oregon Humane Society, so I have plenty of time to help you out with your fur babies! Either drop in visits or walks of various distances works for me! If you choose dog walks: I can ensure that you're dog will be well exercised with lots of sniffs along the way! I have lived with dogs for most of my life and currently work at Oregon Humane Society.
About: I’ve cared for animals for as long as I can remember. Cats, and dogs. I grew up surrounded by pets, and when I was little, I would even bring home animals I found on the street to care for them (even though my mom did not approve of that!). This is actually the first time in my life that I don’t have a pet of my own, which is why I would truly love the opportunity to care for yours. I’m a calm, patient person who enjoys dedicating time and attention to the well-being of other living beings. I work as a Postpartum Doula, which means I create my own schedule. This gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my routine, so I can reliably make time to help out when you need it. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow their usual routines, provide plenty of attention, keep their space clean, and give regular updates so you know they’re doing great.
About: What sets me apart is my reliability, attention to detail, and genuine care for each pet’s routine and comfort. With over five years of hands-on experience as a pet owner, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. I follow instructions closely, communicate clearly, and provide consistent updates so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. I work full time in Lake Oswego, but I love spending time with pets in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays. I make sure every drop-in is reliable, attentive, and tailored to your pet’s routine, so they feel happy and cared for while you’re away. I provide attentive, routine-based care for pets in their own home. I follow feeding schedules, bathroom routines, and any special instructions to keep pets comfortable and happy. I give plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship, and I always communicate with updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pet is safe and well cared for. I treat each pet as if they were my own, ensuring a calm and loving environment.
About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. I’ve raised and loved a variety of animals, including dogs, and cats of my own and through pet sitting for friends and with TrustedHousesitters, I’ve also supported families with senior pets, rescue animals, and those with medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injected), adapting to animals with anxiety or mobility challenges, and tuning into what each pet uniquely needs, whether that's active play, a gentle routine, or quiet companionship. I attend grad school mostly online through UW, so your pet will get plenty of attention and presence. I look forward to connecting with you all. Spending time with animals is grounding, joyful, and meaningful for my life. If you’d like to connect or hear more about my past experience, I’d love to chat. I’m happy to share references and photos (or just swap pet stories!). Your animals are family. And I’ll treat them as such. Pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm. I attend grad school mostly online through UW and have a flexible schedule, so I can easily adjust my day around walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks. Spending time with pets is grounding and joyful for me, not an add-on or chore. It gives me purpose and balance, so I welcome the routine of feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and companionship as part of my everyday flow. I meet each pet exactly where they are. In your home, I follow the routine you’ve already established, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. That means keeping consistent meal times, walking routes, play activities, or quiet company, whatever your pet is used to. I’m comfortable with administering medications, supporting anxious or shy animals with patience, and giving extra attention to senior pets. My goal is always to maintain stability, reduce stress, and provide genuine companionship so you come home to a happy, cared-for pet.

Your dog’s health, happiness, and overall well-being are always our top priority.
“Brooklyn is great with Maizie. When Maizie sees her, she gets so excited to go on a walk. It's so helpful to have someone who can commit and help my girl get the activity she needs when I'm working. I love the updates on Maizie's feelings that are part of the walk.”

About: I grew up with dogs (two adorable shelties) my whole childhood. From a young age, I helped feed, walk, bathe, administer meds, and clean up after them. I have experience taking care of other people’s dogs too. I’ve done brief and extended overnight stays in the pet’s home environment. I feed, walk, play games with them, and take care of whatever needs arise. I’m always happy to send pictures updating the pet parent on how their baby is doing. My schedule is currently relatively flexible since I work as a substitute teacher. I’m often able to take last minute bookings as my schedule often is decided the morning of. That said, I’m happy to book further out and plan accordingly to make sure your pet is taken care of! I’m unable to take pets in my home, but am more than happy to come into your home where your pet will be the most comfortable. I’m happy to take your pet outside regardless of if your yard is fenced or not (if you have a yard) and will always leash your dog when outside unless your yard is fully fenced and have been told it’s fine to just let them out! I always follow my clients care directions to ensure their baby is cared for and safe.
About: I absolutely adore being around animals. It fulfills me and brings me so much joy to provide love and care for them. I know how stressful it can be with an anxious pup waiting at home when you leave, so I want to help alleviate that! I will take your pup on walks, play with them, and love them as much as I can until you get back! If you have kitties, phenomenal! I adore taking care of cats too :) I am available to look after your pets Monday-Friday, 10:00am-4:30pm. I have lots of free time in my week that I am looking to fill up! I have two cats of my own, so I will need to look after your pet in YOUR own home. I will always be respectful of your spaces and be patient with your pets if they are hesitant meet me :)
About: I've loved taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up I would help around with the neighborhood dogs. I have helped potty train and socialize puppies. I've also learned over the years to help with medication and treatments for dogs. I'm currently working from home so I have all the time possibly needed to spend with the dogs and give them the needed attention and care. I have a fenced yard and over 20 acres of land. I have 1 friendly dog making the house entirely pet friendly. We have a baby gate to keep the pups from going into areas where they aren't supposed and if needed I can always use a crate.
About: I've been caring for dogs for eleven years. My oldest dog was a senior who came to us at 13 and lived to be almost 19, so I became very good at caring for dogs of advanced age. I'm available for house sitting, day checks, and walks! I'm currently unemployed and have access to a car 9am-10pm, so I can check in with your pet whenever, or stay overnight. I'm happy to walk dogs as much as they need, play with them until they're tired, give them cuddles, and I can crate them if necessary.
“Carly is super friendly and kind with a comfortable energy. Our dog, Clara took to them quickly and clearly had a great time on her very first walk with Carly! We will book again for sure!”

Kate is amazing! It’s so apparent that she truly cares about the dogs she takes care of, and she went the absolute extra mile to get photos, videos and funny little updates about the time. She and her daughter are such kind people, and we hope we will be lucky enough to book with them again.
