Growing up, I was lucky enough to have two amazing dogs that I cherished, and now my partner and I are eager to welcome a dog into our lives—but we’re not quite ready for the full-time commitment. “Shell is Amazing! She stayed with our very anxious 1 year old golden retriever for a couple of days. Our vet had strongly advised us to not leave her at a boarding kennel because she is terrified of other dogs. Shell did an excellent job from start to finish. She visited us at our home to meet us and Cedar in advance in order to understand our pup's personality and needs. Shell also brought her own well-regulated dog along with her for part of the time that she house-sat, to help our dog start learning that dogs can be safe and fun to be around. Shell used creative techniques to help Cedar eat (she cooked eggs and provided bone broth) because Cedar does not eat much when she is anxious. She provided opportunities prior to the house sitting job for Cedar to interact with her and her own dog to help reduce Cedar’s stress while we were gone. Shell reinforced the training techniques we are working on. She took pictures of Cedar interacting with her dog and sent them to us. She even coordinated with our adult daughter so that Cedar could visit with a trusted family member for some of the time. Cedar was happy to see us when we got home, but we could tell she had a good time and had made a doggy friend that she feels confident and safe around! I feel lucky to have someone like Shell to leave my very anxious dog with. She is passionate about dogs and their welfare and is skilled at taking care of their needs. About: I have lots of experience with cats and dogs and have2 cats of my own. I’m very flexible with my schedule and reliable. I love animals. I’m very patient loving and caring. I can walk, feed, play and give lots of love and affection. I’ve had dogs growing up and have had experience with pet sitting and walking. I’ve always had cats. I get a long very well with animals. I just need to know ahead of time of their needs. I have had asthma so I use an inhaler and can’t run but I can still walk them and make sure they get exercise. I don’t drive or have a car but I can take the bus or take an Uber or Lyft. I am disabled but still have lots of capability and time to spend time with dog or cats. I’m very flexible and reliable I make sure there’s lots of play time and opportunities to go outside to go on a walk or go to the bathroom. I can’t run due to asthma but I can still play and get exercise in. I give lots of love and attention just like they were my own I am disabled so I have a lot of spare time. I am a student but that’s part time so I still have plenty of time to spend with the pets I have an apartment with a small yard. I feed, bathe, walk, and play with pets staying in my home. They’re aloud on furniture or wherever they’re comfortable. In others’ home, I would care for the pets just as I would in my home unless instructed to do otherwise. Feed, play, cuddle, walk.
About: My husband and I have had many years of experience with dogs. We have a rescue that we adopted a year and half ago. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home! My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. We are available 7 days a week currently. Beyond that we’re both homebodies who love to take our dog on long walks around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard with locked gates and one 20 lb female rescue pup to keep your dog company. We allow dogs on the furniture/bed, but we can also crate your dog if preferred. Our home is a single story with no stairs. Dogs will never be left alone together for safety purposes and will never be in backyard unsupervised. We can accommodate frequent bathroom breaks, but your dog must be potty trained.

About: I have loved taking care of dogs ever since I was little. I even started a dog walking business in my neighborhood at the age of 8! About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since a young age and have recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix that has taken many hours of training and desensitizing to the world due to his difficult prior life. I adore my interactions with dogs and will treat them as if they are my own. I am currently not working but will be going back to work part-time over the next couple months. Right now my schedule is open and I spend most my time with my dog at home or socializing/playing with him on a friend's property with many different types of dogs. I have a yard with a 4 foot fence lining one side, 6 foot along the rest and a two story house with a basement. My rescue dog gets along great with other dogs and would love to have the company. I have many toys and games for dogs that come over as well as a dog friendly neighborhood and parks to walk in.
