About: I have lots of experience with cats and dogs and have2 cats of my own. I’m very flexible with my schedule and reliable. I love animals. I’m very patient loving and caring. I can walk, feed, play and give lots of love and affection. I’ve had dogs growing up and have had experience with pet sitting and walking. I’ve always had cats. I get a long very well with animals. I just need to know ahead of time of their needs. I have had asthma so I use an inhaler and can’t run but I can still walk them and make sure they get exercise. I don’t drive or have a car but I can take the bus or take an Uber or Lyft. I am disabled but still have lots of capability and time to spend time with dog or cats. I’m very flexible and reliable I make sure there’s lots of play time and opportunities to go outside to go on a walk or go to the bathroom. I can’t run due to asthma but I can still play and get exercise in. I give lots of love and attention just like they were my own I am disabled so I have a lot of spare time. I am a student but that’s part time so I still have plenty of time to spend with the pets I have an apartment with a small yard. I feed, bathe, walk, and play with pets staying in my home. They’re aloud on furniture or wherever they’re comfortable. In others’ home, I would care for the pets just as I would in my home unless instructed to do otherwise. Feed, play, cuddle, walk.

About: I have deep care for the animals we get to live with and I take this joyous role very seriously. I’ve been a dog mom myself and it would always bring me some anxiety to leave him with a new sitter. I’m here to answer any questions and meet your pup(s) to make sure that everyone feels comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages — from energetic puppies learning the ropes, to senior dogs who need a gentler pace and extra patience. I’m comfortable with specific care needs such as administering medications, following special feeding routines, and giving extra attention to pets with health concerns. I’m self-employed and split my time between working from home and from my office. My schedule is flexible most days, which means I can usually adjust my day to fit your dog’s needs — whether that’s morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening playtime. I make sure pets aren’t left waiting too long and always work around their normal routines so they stay comfortable and happy. I take care of pets right in their own homes, where everything smells familiar and feels safe. I’ve found that staying in their own space helps them relax so much more while you’re away. I really try to keep things feeling “normal” for them — same routines, same little habits, same comforts. I’ll follow your instructions closely so your pet’s day feels as similar as possible to having you home. I pay attention when we go on walks — checking leashes, making sure doors and gates are secure, and watching for anything that might make your pup uncomfortable. I’m more than happy to slow down if your pet needs a little extra care. Whether that’s meds, quiet time, or lots of cuddles, I meet them where they are and give them plenty of patience and love. I treat your home with care and respect, and I’ll care for your pet like they’re my own. I want you to be able to relax, knowing they’re safe, comfortable, and so well loved while you’re away.

“My dog is a little timid with new people, but Renata takes such good care of him! She’s patient and kind and I’m so grateful to have someone I can trust with him. She’s reliable and great with communication. Highly recommend her, especially for nervous/shy puppers. 🩵”

About: I have had experience with many different types of breeds and ages. I have seen it all! I have grown up with dogs and have experience with rescue/ shelter pups. Fun fact: I have leash-trained all of our family dogs ranging from 11-70lbs, assisted in potty training, and in January 2025 I began working as a part-time veterinary assistant! Since about age 17, I have volunteered at my local dog shelter in my spare time and helped friends and family bathe, feed, and walk their pets! I have a sweet spot for senior dogs; I have one of my own (Oreo) who is very spoiled with love and treats! My weekend availability is very open. On weekdays Mondays-Fridays it varies, since I do work in healthcare. I am available before 8am and after 5pm weekdays, but feel free to ask for specific availability if you need a pet sitter/drop in visits, as I can be flexible sometimes! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! :) I always make sure to prioritize the safety and comfort of your pet. Your pet will be supervised and if there is anything specific your pet or you need from me, please do not hesitate to ask. My job is to provide the best experience for you and your pet. As a pet parent myself, I know it can be difficult to leave your fur baby under the care of another person, and I dedicate myself to making you feel at ease knowing your canine or feline will be well taken care of! I like to know as much information about each pet to create a loving, safe, and trusting environment for each furry friend.

About: Since I was a little girl, I can’t remember a time when dogs weren’t in my life. As an experienced shepherd and husky owner, I am able to handle large dogs and strong pullers well. I love hiking myself, and being able to take dogs with me to see them smiling just adds to the joy. Being out in nature, no matter the weather, connects me to Mother Earth and to your furry friend in a special way. On days I’m not at work, I have the whole day to just love on your pet. Being a nurse, I love caring for others in whatever way that soul needs. I work 3 nights a week at OHSU, so I have 4 days off a week. On these days I am home all day and can give ample attention to your doggo, whether that be playing, running, walking, taking frequent potty breaks, snuggling, or sleeping on the bed with me! I live in an apartment with my boyfriend who is also a dog lover. I am flexible to provide dog sitting in my or your home. I recently lost my husky and so am an empty nester! I go on walks or runs everyday, and I can play fetch or roughhouse with dogs as well, as I am young and active. I give time and patience to learn about your dog and what makes your pup special so I can individualize my care as best as possible. My schedule is flexible and I respond very quickly to messages or requests.
About: I've had cats and dogs most of my life. I frequently watch my sister's 3 small dogs as well as my friends larger Pitbull mix. But have house sat and pet watched for dozens of other friends through the years. I had the great pleasure of volunteering at Elephant Nature Park elephant rescue in Chiang Mai Thailand for a week earlier this year. I paid for the privilege of scooping poo, preparing food and other duties 😊 It was one of my life's great pleasures. I drive for Uber and Lyft, as well as substitute teach, so my schedule can be very flexible depending on your needs. Contact me and I'm sure we can work something out. I just moved into a new duplex that has a fenced yard so boarding might be possible. We have a 3 year old border collie who would love to keep your dog company.

“Tina is great with my 65 lb. labradoodle! He can be a handful, but Tina’s got it covered! She is reliable, always communicates when she’s arrived, what they did during the visit, and when she leaves. I know he’s in good hands!”

About: Hi! I’m Jamie, a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of pet and house-sitting experience — and I truly mean lifelong. I grew up surrounded by animals and have cared for pets and homes for most of my life. My approach is calm, patient, and intuitive, making me especially attuned to the needs of senior pets, shy or sensitive animals, or pets who simply need extra TLC. I provide friendly, professional in-home care tailored to each pet’s personality and routine. From administering medication to long walks, from playful energy to quiet lap time, I adapt to meet your pet exactly where they are — whether young, old, quirky, or cuddly. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, barnyard animals, horses, and pets of all kinds — furry, feathered, scaled, or beyond — bringing the same calm, attentive care to each one. While I’m not a licensed trainer, I bring hands-on experience, training knowledge, and years of caregiving skills to every animal I meet.
About: I always had pets growing up, and I've always been in tune with animals in general. I began pet sitting with Trusted Housesitters last year. I have great reviews and references. I have taken care of 2 puppies and administered weekly subcutaneous fluid injections to a cat. I'm continuously learning about pet health & nutrition, and available to help with dog training upon request. Now I'm ready to branch out into Rover, and looking to become a more professional and established pet sitter. I don't want to bother pet owners while on vacation, but I do send photos and am always available for any concerns, extra instructions, etc. My goal is to take care of everything while you're gone, so that you can relax & enjoy your time away from home. I work on call as a substitute teacher in Oregon, and I'm transitioning into working remotely as an Agile Coach. This provides a ton of flexibility as far as pet care and even location is concerned. If possible, I like to meet in person with the owner(s) & pet(s) at some point before they leave. If clear, thorough instructions are provided, great, but if not, I can usually figure things out, and just let the pet(s) communicate what they want or need.
About: Family and friends often use me as their pet sitter when taking out of town trips. Have experience caring for aging and senior pets. I will treat your family as if it were my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom with plenty of free time on her hands to care for your loved ones. I have a wide open schedule and a big heart. Willing to come into your home and manage your pet care. Will make sure to adhere to your routine and schedule. Will work with your pets individual needs to ensure the best experience possible
“I rebooked Malissa and was not disappointed. I rebooked her for walks not a housesitting this time and I found my dog happy. She also sent me pictures and was on time for the walks. I trust her completely and already rebooked her for the end of July housesitting.”
Haden Island dog parents share their Rover experiences
A wonderful dog walker, who deals with a pup that will eat anything, but more importantly, a great person that is superbly friendly when you happen upon him and his pup walking the streets of St Johns. Both I and Frankie are so thankful for his professionalism, kindness, and ability to change schedules on short notice, plus he is great about communicating any delays or scheduling issues that arise.

When we first met Frances, we weren’t sure how our reactive Chihuahua, Benny, would do — but her calm, patient approach won him over almost instantly. She took the time to understand his triggers, worked with him gently, and now he greets her with a happy tail wag. Frances also accompanies our senior family member on walks with our other dog, Bucket, making sure both dogs (and human!) are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their time outside. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals have made her an absolute treasure to our family. ---
