About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since a young age and have recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix that has taken many hours of training and desensitizing to the world due to his difficult prior life. I adore my interactions with dogs and will treat them as if they are my own. I am currently not working but will be going back to work part-time over the next couple months. Right now my schedule is open and I spend most my time with my dog at home or socializing/playing with him on a friend's property with many different types of dogs. I have a yard with a 4 foot fence lining one side, 6 foot along the rest and a two story house with a basement. My rescue dog gets along great with other dogs and would love to have the company. I have many toys and games for dogs that come over as well as a dog friendly neighborhood and parks to walk in.

About: Grew up with pitbulls and cats in the house. I really enjoy being around them and they fit into my daily/weekly schedule extremely well. Im never away from the house for more than 4 hours and I walk for 1-3 hours everyday, I have the time to consistently walk the doggies 3-5x everyday. No dog will go without exercise when they stay with me, and if they like to be a couch potato that's ok too, I accommodate to any activity/energy level!

I love dogsitting and live really near North Portland VCA should there ever be an emergency. If your dog is a good leash walker, they'll get at least two walks per day; otherwise, we'll see how it goes! There is opportunity for backyard play, but I depend on walking to ensure dogs get the movement they need. There are no pets in my house at this time, so as long as your dog gets along with people, the relationships should be OK! No chewers, please; I do not close crate doors. I am a retired teacher, so I am mostly home but do go out for a variety of reasons during the day or evening sometimes. I have a fenced yard and spend lots of time in it with dogs during decent weather. If your very big dog is non-reactive, I would love to host your very big dog. 🐶 (I do not board puppies but do walk puppies. Just please do not ask me to close the door on a crate.) Please ensure your dog is flea-free.

She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for more than 10 years. I really love to be around dogs they bring lots of joy. I had 5 dogs and my parents relied on me to feed, walk, and wash them. Being around dogs for so long I have a good understand of their behavior. I am currently attending university of Portland, so sadly I am far from home and don’t have any interactions with my pets. But back home I would do my dog routine in the morning right after I eat breakfast. I would always keep and eye on the pet but at the same time not bother their peace. With the exception of this current year, I've lived with a dog all my life. I am without a doubt a "dog person". As a child, one of my favorite memories was talking my dog for a run around the neighborhood. I would ride my bike and let me dog run along with me.
