About: I've taken care of my son's dogs Eddie, Nina and Uma for weeks to months at a time while he travels to England to visit family. I'm available for work shifts and even overnight upon request all throughout the weekdays and weekends. Updates will be posted to my calendar if changes occur. I have a front yard and more importantly a full fenced in backyard. I keep it very clean and clear of poop. I also have a beautiful 9 year old Golden Retriever to help keep your little one company.
“Another wonderful visit at Dawn's house. She has so much fun with Dawn's daughter and their two dogs. It's a mini vacation for Maggie when she is with them. Couldn't find a better place for her when we are away.”

“First time trying Alex as a sitter and it went great! She made our shy, nervous dog feel right at home in her space and sent lots of photos. We’ll definitely book with her again in future.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life as I grew up with a lab, and have been an avid dog sitter for many years for a variety of dogs with many different needs. I have experience in medication delivery as well as taking care of reactive dogs. I currently work in a fully remote role giving me the time and flexibility to give your pup the frequent potty/exercise breaks, attention, and care that they deserve! I am patient, kind, and love every dog I have met. I will treat your dog as if they are my own, and ensure they have a restful & stress-free experience. I’m currently in a fully remote role, so have time and flexibility during the work week and weekend to provide exercise and attention. I’m also very active and will gladly take your pup as a walking or running buddy. I am responsible, respectful, and have a deep care to contributing to creating a comfortable environment for your pup in your home. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog while you’re away and will work to make the transition as smooth as possible so not only your dog can relax and feel comfortable and loved, but you can relax while you are away.
About: We work from home so we can give your dog lots of care and attention. Our 4 year old pup loves all people and dogs, and has a blast with friends who visit. We have a fenced yard and go on two walks a day. We are a couple with a teen kiddo, so there are lots of people to take care of your baby. We work from home and have a dog who gets two walks a day, so we are already in the groove of taking good care of doggies. We follow the lead of the dog. We allow pets on the bed and furniture, We can administer meds, or any extra healthcare needs. We have a fenced yard and your pup can have freedom to be inside or out as desired.
“If I could leave 10000000 positive reviews I would! Jiao and her partner are the most incredible, kind, professional, caring, and amazing rovers I’ve ever had watch my lil buddy! They are 10000% my go to best rover friends and my dog Blue was truly sad leaving them after daycare and it’s such a good feeling knowing the people watching your dog cares for him as much as you do!!! So so so wonderful!”

“I took my dog to Kate for daycare one day while we were visiting Portland. Kate has a wonderful outdoor and indoor space for doggy daycare. She sent many photos and updates. It looked like my dog had so much fun. I highly recommend.”

“Grateful to have found Don!! Axle who has a lot of separation anxiety loves going to Don”s house. He heads right in with no hesitation & has a great time with Don, Melody & Cody. He enjoys the walks, ball time, and is comfortable and safe in their environment thank you Don!”

“Storm takes a bit of time to get comfortable in new environments with new people, but she seemed to settle in easily with Gil and Peaches! We are so thankful they are patient with her separation anxiety and welcome her on daycare days!”

“Peter took my puppy on more walks than he gets at home! He came home tired, which is hard to do with this fella. I appreciated the generous care he offered my puppy.”

“5 stars is not enough! Crystal is absolutely the best! she was able to take us super last minute and she took great care of my very sweet, but nervous german shepherd and was very accommodating. She is very caring and so sweet with Mila. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Your dog(s) will be accompanied by my own two dogs, who I’ve raised from puppyhood, should you choose for them to stay at my home, with its spacious fenced back and front yard. I’m happy to do drop-in appointments at your place, but extended care will be at mine, as I’m well set up for all of our dogs. I do have experience dog sitting for friends, which was a wonderful experience that inspired me to get dogs of my own. However, I’m only starting out on Rover and don’t yet have many reviews. I encourage you to visit the place and acquaint our dogs to establish a sense of comfort with the experience your dogs will enjoy. I’m not working a “regular job”, so am very flexible regarding time. Weekends work fine for me, and feel free to reach out at short notice. I have a detached house set back far from the sidewalk. A section of the front yard is itself fenced, and the backyard is large and also fully fenced. The majority of the backyard is fully cedar chipped to control mud and dust. Dogs are most certainly allowed on the couch and bed!
“Caitlin was so kind and patient with both dogs, especially my more fearful/anxious chihuahua. Her dog Lucy is a sweetheart and was also great with the small dogs.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of friends and coworkers for about a year now. They trust me to follow a close schedule for feedings and walks, as well as administering any prescribed medications that they need to take. I'm currently a part-time student, but most of my classes are in the mornings. So, I would be available for most of the day to care for pets. My neighborhood is filled with other students that go to my school, so it's pretty quiet and safe for walks at any point in the day. I have housemates that all share a love for animals and also have prior experience with pet care. We have doggy bags, pet beds, toys, and litter for any pets if needed.
“Carissa gave my pup the ultimate staycation! He was happy and tired in the best way. Her dogs were great with him and they happily coexisted. He was immediately comfortable when I dropped him off and didn’t even want to say bye. Looking forward to booking again in the future.”

“Alayna took great care of my pup Johnnie, even when he had a small, unexpected accident at their apartment. She handled things with grace and care. Recommend!”

University Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie and Chris were easy to communicate with. They suggested a meet and greet with the dogs and all went great. We scheduled a full day of care afterwards and our dog Benny came home happy and exhausted. Benny was well cared for, we received photos, and it was very positive experience. I highly recommend Jamie and Chris!
We absolutely adore Hailey! I couldn’t recommend her enough, it’s easy to tell when somebody has a genuine love and respect for animals and she definitely does. Theo is my baby and I feel so confident leaving him with her; I’m not sure how many times she’s watched Theo at this point (it’s been many) and we’re going to keep coming back! Hailey is so attentive, very patient with Theo, and communicative. It’s clear she understands Theo and Theo loves her so much - 100/100 stars!

Joe was fantastic with Juno! He’s a genuinely pleasant person and communicates clearly and promptly, which made everything easy and stress-free. Juno had a great day at daycare and came home happy and relaxed. It’s clear Joe really cares about the dogs he watches. Highly recommend him — we’ll definitely be booking again!

Ciera did an absolutely amazing job with my pup. She is detail-oriented,a good listener, punctual, researches before asking questions, and pays as much attention to the health and safety of her daily adoptee, as she does providing TLC. I have worked with her four times, and each stay gets better as she learns his habits, and my dog gets increasingly comfortable. I will absolutely be working with Ciera again in the future.

Brittany was a fantastic caretaker! Was very attentive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. There were some adjustments to my schedule and Brittany was able to make sure to be available regardless. Huey had a great time at their place of work! He spent the whole day playing and napping, and came home an happy, exhausted puppy. Couldn’t recommend Brittany anymore! Will definitely be booking again in the future!
