I want a dog to love on my weekends
I grew up in a house with 5 or more dogs at a time. My partner, Chris, and I had 2 of our own dogs as adults and now have an empty house. We want to have a dog to love on our weekends. We have a fenced backyard and live one block from Forest Park. I’m a runner and would love to have a running buddy! Our dog was a lazy old man, so we love the couch potato dogs! My 17 year old dog passed in October 2023. We miss having a dog in our house and want to dog sit to fill our empty space.

Jamie and Chris were easy to communicate with. They suggested a meet and greet with the dogs and all went great. We scheduled a full day of care afterwards and our dog Benny came home happy and exhausted. Benny was well cared for, we received photos, and it was very positive experience. I highly recommend Jamie and Chris!

This was my first time ever leaving Arlo with a sitter, and I couldn’t be more thankful for Jamie. Arlo immediately seemed comfortably in her home, and didn’t seem to show his typical signs of separation anxiety when I left. Thank you Jamie for taking the best care of Arlo for me!
Jamie watched our two senior dogs for the day while I was in Portland for work. She was sweet and positive and took great care of our pups. And her energy was nice and calm for our extra anxious doggo! Jamie’s help was so incredibly appreciated and I would definitely drop the dogs with her again!
Jaime and Chris took great care of Calvin. They sent pictures and keep me posted about how he was doing. Highly recommended. I will take Calvin back. They are wonderful!

Zeitplan
I’ve opened my schedule to have dogs on my weekends and my partners weekends. Drop off/pickup on weekends will be with my partner, Chris. Drops off/pickup on weekdays will be with me. If you need dog care during times I am not available, please let me know. I may be able to accommodate days I have marked unavailable

We have a private, fenced yard, a dog door, and dogs will be leashed at all times on walks in the neighborhood and through Forest Park.

I’m a runner! I run forest park often and would love to have a four legged running buddy! Northwest Portland is very dog friendly, and I love taking the dogs walking through the neighborhood and/or Forest Park. Our private, fenced backyard is perfect for dogs to run free and play fetch!

- Let me know of any behaviors I should be aware of or if your dog has takes any medications. I do not have experience with dog who have separation anxiety. If you have a dog who needs constant care, I have an additional price for that which we can discuss before booking.
