“Heath and Amy were wonderful! They took great care of Eloise and were patient and attentive to her timidness with new people. I appreciated the communication, updates and photos. Eloise got along great with their pup and they played and enjoyed each others company. I will book Eloise a stay with Health and Amy again in the future! Thanks again for taking care of my sweet girl.”

“Wrigley and Smash had a great week at Sandy's! We received photo updates throughout the week and the boys always looked happy and relaxed. They love Sandy and we love knowing that they are being so well cared for!”

“Ron did a wonderful job caring for our dog, Henry, and was great about administering the special eye medication our guy requires. This was the second time we’ve left Henry with Ron and both times he seemed happy and comfortable there. There’s a big back yard to sniff around in and a comfy couch for lounging. Ron’s calm demeanor really made Henry feel at home, and Henry came home happy and in great shape. We will definitely contact Ron for any future dog sitting needs!”
“Annika, John, and Pepper are perfect sitters for our shy dog! She gets lots of time to play/explore, spoiled with cuddles, and loves going over there. They’re always communicative throughout the stay.”

“Rebecca is the only sitter I trust Stella with for an extended stay! She sent me frequent picture updates and I could tell she embraced Stella as part of her own pack, letting her sleep on the bed, giving her a take-home toy when she fell in love with a rubber chicken, even taking her to the Coast while I was away. So thankful we have Rebecca as Stella's sitter and boarder!”

“As first time Rover users, we feel so fortunate to have found Nad in taking great care of our senior cat, Chase & Corgi dog, Koji. She had kept us posted with daily pics and feedback of our fur babies which really helped put us at ease while we were away. It can be such a challenge when leaving an old cat and a younger dog to the care of someone new, thankfully Nad was able to fulfill the duty and made the boarding experience both peaceful and fun for my pets. We will definitely be back for Nad's service in the future the next time we plan a trip away from home.”

“I was initially nervous to leave my little guy for a week while I went on vacation, but Jocelyn completely put me at ease! She was very flexible and communicative throughout the whole stay. “Emma was great! She came over every morning (very consistently) to feed, give pets and give our mostly indoor cat some outside time. We mentioned that if Peanut wants to go outside just keep eyes on her. Emma let Peanut bake in the sun and have some fresh air which is always a good thing and ushered her in when her time was up. We also bought a lot of stuff on Amazon Prime day and she brought in all our boxes, even big ones!”

“Tayla was amazing! She left detailed notes after each visit with tons of pictures. She was flexible, communicative, and quick to respond to any questions/concerns. My cat can be timid around strangers at times but went up to Tayla immediately. I’d be happy to book her again :)”

“Bobby was sweet, attentive, and thorough when he watched my cat and my rabbit. He wrote detailed reports letting me know how they were, accompanied with a bunch of pictures! It was a huge relief to know that they were both thriving and to see photo evidence of them getting love and attention. I would recommend him above any other sitter for his absolute enthusiasm for the job, his love of animals, and his genuine thoughtfulness. Thank you Bobby!”

“Courtney was so sweet and loving towards our cat that has a bit of a cattitude 😅 Our cat warmed up to Courtney quickly with her kind demeanor. So grateful for her checking in on our monster while we were away!”

“Kate was professional from the very beginning with timely and open communication before even booking. It’s clear she has a lot of experience with cat sitting. I didn’t worry once about my pet during my vacation and my pet is reactive and scared of strangers. I would recommend and rebook without doubt.”

“Great taking care of our cats for a week. Thanks for trying to introduce Ruby, your dog. Unfortunately one cat wasn’t as curious. But you did track down Steen and send is pics to let him know he was doing ok. We appreciate the extra effort!”

“Carly was outstanding, as usual! We even had to slightly change our reservation at the last minute to add more days unexpectedly and they were super flexible and communicative with tons of pictures and details. Our cats now both love her, thank you for taking such good care of our babies!”

“Alex is Winston’s new bestie! Winston spent the day with Alex for daycare, and had the best time! She is so sweet, has such a peaceful, patience presence, and was so great with him. About: Hi, I’m Kenah. I provide dependable pet care for families who want someone calm, responsible, and attentive caring for their pets and their home. My background includes years of caregiving, direct support, healthcare operations, and compliance work, so I am very comfortable following detailed instructions, respecting home routines, documenting important updates, and noticing when something seems off. I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your home or care for a pet you love, and I take that responsibility seriously. During each visit, I focus on keeping your pet safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I am happy to help with feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, basic cleanup, and photo updates. I also make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and you receive clear communication so you are not left wondering how your pet is doing. I especially enjoy working with pets who do best with a steady, patient person. Whether your pet is social and playful or shy and slow to warm up, I will follow your lead and care for them in the way that works best for their personality. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to work around each pet’s normal routine. I am available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting depending on the day, time, and location. I prefer to plan ahead when possible so I can give each pet the right amount of time and attention, but I may also be able to help with shorter-notice requests when my schedule allows. I take safety and trust very seriously, whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a small, calm home environment with a large, fully fenced yard, which gives dogs space to get fresh air, play, and take potty breaks safely. I always supervise outdoor time and make sure gates and doors are secure.
“Storm takes a bit of time to get comfortable in new environments with new people, but she seemed to settle in easily with Gil and Peaches! We are so thankful they are patient with her separation anxiety and welcome her on daycare days!”

“Penn was so happy so see Evita. He was making happy crying sounds when we approached Evita. Evita sent a regular update on Penn’s status and the cutest picture of him and NuNu.”

About: I adore all animals, available for drop-ins, walks, and puppy play dates with my dog. I’m currently self-training a wonderful psychiatric service dog, Sobek (still in training). Together we have taken a large number of classes, passed the CGC, volunteered with Oregon Humane Training, canine PT, and had a whole lot of fun along the way. I am familiar with positive reenforcement, force free, settle training, crate training, socialization, clicker training, agility and capturing calm behaviors. I have experience with animals who have mild to moderate mobility issues, puppies, senior and special needs, safe stretching/activity monitoring, and reactive body language. *I am not a certified trainer* but I hope to be one day. I’m happy to answer any questions or assist you on your journey, teach your dog a thing or two, or point you to my many trusted local resources. Inclusivity, flexibility, and honesty are some of my main core values. I am honest about my availability, knowledge and conduct. I’m also a former pro photographer and bound to take many cute photos. They/them, queer/trans affirming. I work from home so I am flexible depending on my meetings. I am available late afternoons and evenings unless otherwise noted in my schedule. I’m fairly organized and pet-proof my own home. I always treat other’s homes as if they were my own, meaning I pack out what I pack in and respect the boundaries of humans and pets who live there.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rodents and have taken care of them my whole life- training, washing, walking, playing, etc. I have booked many clients with Rover and feel very confident in my ability to gain trust from both humans and animals. I love animals with my whole heart and would love to help take care of yours! My schedule is currently open, so I can provide pet care mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed. I’m reliable and adaptable, and I’m happy to coordinate with pet owners to meet their pets’ routines. If my schedule changes due to gaining a part-time job, I’ll update availability promptly. I would love to be an additional help to anyone in need of pet care 🐶🐱 I provide drop-in care, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and enrichment for dogs, cats, and other pets. I focus on building trust and keeping pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for, while tailoring my approach to each pet’s needs and personality. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer check-in, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and supported.
About: (Please read my whole profile to make sure we are a good match! If you decide to request a booking, please provide the requested information about your dog, either on your Rover site or in your inquiry. Note: I provide the walk-only service exclusively in the Kenton neighborhood. Thank you!) I have owned dogs most of my life and spent my adolescence on a small family farm. I love dogsitting and live really near North Portland VCA should there ever be an emergency. If your dog is a good leash walker, they'll get at least two walks per day; otherwise, we'll see how it goes! There is opportunity for backyard play, but I depend on walking to ensure dogs get the movement they need. There are no pets in my house at this time, so as long as your dog gets along with people, the relationships should be OK! No chewers, please; I do not close crate doors. I am a retired teacher, so I am mostly home but do go out for a variety of reasons during the day or evening sometimes. I have a fenced yard and spend lots of time in it with dogs during decent weather. If your very big dog is non-reactive, I would love to host your very big dog. 🐶 (I do not board puppies but do walk puppies. Just please do not ask me to close the door on a crate.) Please ensure your dog is flea-free.

“For our pup’s first doggy day care, Bryan took good care of him and helped out on short notice. He’s friendly, on time, and gave a full report on drop off. Will definitely book again.”

“Allen was very responsive from the time I booked a meet & greet to when he took care of my dog, Kau Kau. He also was very patient with her since she does have some separation anxiety and I appreciated that very much. I definitely would recommend Allen as a doggy daycare option. Thanks.”

About: My husband and I have had many years of experience with dogs. We have a rescue that we adopted a year and half ago. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home! My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. We are available 7 days a week currently. Beyond that we’re both homebodies who love to take our dog on long walks around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard with locked gates and one 20 lb female rescue pup to keep your dog company. We allow dogs on the furniture/bed, but we can also crate your dog if preferred. Our home is a single story with no stairs. Dogs will never be left alone together for safety purposes and will never be in backyard unsupervised. We can accommodate frequent bathroom breaks, but your dog must be potty trained.
“Lillian was a great companion to both our pets while we were away for the holiday. We were so happy to connect with someone willing to drive our dog to an area of the neighborhood with flatter streets. I'm sure he was happy too! Would definitely recommend.”

About: I grew up with a black lab for nearly 14 years as a child and come from a family of Labrador lovers. I now take care of my own gentle giant black lab who I got to train as a service animal myself. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and running off energy! I am very loving and passsionate person towards dogs, they love my ear and belly rubs and often love to cuddle if that's their thing! My favorite things to do with dogs is taking them for adventures to the park/forest, river/lakes and the snow during wintertime. I am no stranger to labrador breeds but also have experince with Shepard and border collie breeds the most, as well as many others here and there. I've had my fair share of sick dogs, whether it be ear infection to cancer and know the emotional roller coaster and/or hassle of giving medications and can show the dogs lots of empathy if this is something that would be needed. I always treat dogs like their my own and would want the best for your pup just like I would for my own girl! I work non-traditional hours which means I frequently have a lot of days off in a row and then work once a week with 12 hrs in one day. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.
About: I have lots of experience with cats and dogs and have2 cats of my own. I’m very flexible with my schedule and reliable. I love animals. I’m very patient loving and caring. I can walk, feed, play and give lots of love and affection. I’ve had dogs growing up and have had experience with pet sitting and walking. I’ve always had cats. I get a long very well with animals. I just need to know ahead of time of their needs. I have had asthma so I use an inhaler and can’t run but I can still walk them and make sure they get exercise. I don’t drive or have a car but I can take the bus or take an Uber or Lyft. I am disabled but still have lots of capability and time to spend time with dog or cats. I’m very flexible and reliable I make sure there’s lots of play time and opportunities to go outside to go on a walk or go to the bathroom. I can’t run due to asthma but I can still play and get exercise in. I give lots of love and attention just like they were my own I am disabled so I have a lot of spare time. I am a student but that’s part time so I still have plenty of time to spend with the pets I have an apartment with a small yard. I feed, bathe, walk, and play with pets staying in my home. They’re aloud on furniture or wherever they’re comfortable. In others’ home, I would care for the pets just as I would in my home unless instructed to do otherwise. Feed, play, cuddle, walk.
About: I am a pre-veterinary student who has grown up with pets my whole life! I love animals of all kinds and sizes and will eventually be attending veterinary school in the future. I have volunteered for over a year at a local humane society, working with both dogs and cats! I am a college student home for the summer, so I have a very free and flexible schedule. I love all pets and am excited to have a new walking/adventure buddy! I care for pets by prioritizing the pet’s schedule. I enjoy walks and playing with the pets, so I will make sure they get plenty of physical activity and attention.

“Kate was so sweet and personable! She genuinely has a love for dogs and treated my furbaby as if he was her own! :) She is also very responsive and professional and we truly appreciate her!”

“Annika is a fantastic dog walker! professional, friendly, courteous, and flexible with schedule changes. I'm just jealous that my dog's get more excited for walks with Annika than they do for me 🤣 😂”

About: I was raised as an animal lover in a home with two dogs, two cats, and one bearded dragon! My appreciation extends to creatures great and small -- I have performed some light farm-sitting. I have pet & house-sat since highschool and I feel comfortable and confident with: large dogs, reactive dogs, pets with special medication needs, and skittish or hostile cats. I want to make sure your pet is getting the care they need from me; I can give pets and comfort to a senior kitty, or make sure your pup has sniffed everything in a one mile radius! I'm currently working part time and I should have flexible availability for what service you're looking for. Please feel free to message me about any specifics you have questions about! I want to ensure your pet's routine stays as close to usual as possible so they are happy and healthy! When I've cared for reactive dogs, I did my best to walk routes that avoided potential triggers. To follow medication schedules, I will try my hardest to trick even the most suspicious pet into taking their medicine. I will take care of your pet as you'd like me to!

“I feel so lucky that Leah and Chris are going to be taking care of my senior dog in a few weeks. We had a meet & greet and a trial sleepover. Although that trial was just a few hours, they sent lots of sweet photos and my guy was clearly being well cared for. Chris & Leah were focused on his comfort and well-being. It brings me invaluable peace knowing I can take my trip out of state for a week and leave my darling boy with such caring and attentive people.”

“Michelle (Ching yin) took such great care of our pup, Salty! She was very communicative and accommodating to our changing schedule. Salty was happy and tired after the visit. Can’t wait to book again!”

“Best dog sitter ever! My 2 collies are part of my family, and I wanted to find a home where they were treated like family. Kate did this, and went above and beyond taking such great care of Bailey and Levi! I will definitely reach out to her again the next time I go out of town.”

“For Peanuts third stay with Taylor, she went with Taylor without looking back! At doggycare, she would pull and cry. This is evidence to us that Taylor has already gained Peanut's trust. Since Peanut's typically an anxious dog, we are so thankful she can stay with someone she can trust while we're away!!”

“This was Reggie’s first time staying with Kris. It’s was pretty hot those 3 days and 2 nights but luckily Kris’ air conditioned home kept out hound cool and they played in the doggy pool to cool off during the day. We appreciated the photos and updates Kris provided. We would definitely recommend Kris.”

“Navi was The BEST! I love meeting people who really “get” how ridiculous dogs are in all the best ways. Great communication and I felt 100% confident with his care of our anxious muppet. Our dog made a new best friend. ❤️”
