A vet tech and a pet sitter!
I am a vet tech who has over 10 years of experience working with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I have extensive experience as a veterinary technician in both general practice as well as emergency medicine. I am comfortable with all pets of any age including pets with special needs. I am able to administer oral meds, injections, fluids, and much more. I have worked with animals professionally for all of my working career starting with basic pet sitting/dog walking. After this point I was a groomer for sometime and then made my way up to working at the San Diego zoo as one of the animal ambassador care takers and conservation/wildlife educators where I led tours teach the public about conservation, ecology, and animal welfare welfare. I then moved on to a non profit shelter for a few years as an animal care taker, caring for and providing enrichment to the rescued dogs and cats we took in from across the country. All of this eventually led me to working in the veterinary field as veterinary technician. Animals have always been my passion in life and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with career. Working with pets no matter how big or small, young or old is the most profoundly fulfilling part of my life and I would love to be able to care for your pets too! You will never have to worry about the safety or happiness of your beloved pets when they are in my care 💕

Emily was amazing with my rambunctious 4 mo old puppy. She was so flexible when I had something come up and I had to pick him up late. She's even showed me some basic grooming tips! Do not sleep on her! We will definitely be booking again.
Emily is an incredibly compassionate and detail-oriented caregiver. It is incredibly easy to see how much passion and heart she pours into not only our pets and plants at home but the pets of others at her job as a veterinary technician. She continues to impress me and make the joy of having pets easier and free of stress every day.

Safety, trust & environment
As a vet tech and a seasoned veteran in all things pet care, I am very adept and hypervigilant of the safety of pets entrusted in my care. This means that I am able to assess medical emergencies very quickly, am able to provide first aid, and am able to analyze the body language of your pet. Outside as well as in your home, your pet's safety is my number one priority. Your pet will be well taken care of and loved in my care!

A typical day
Providing enrichment and comfort to the pets under my care is a huge priority to me. I love to go for long walks/adventures and I would love to take your babies along with me! In addition to this, I’m a very crafty person and enjoy creating/making fun puzzle boxes to keep pets entertained and socialized.

- Please let me know if your pet has any medical conditions , allergies, or requires special care such as medication administration. If your pet has any special commands such as a cue to eat and etc, please let me know in advance. It is important for me to know if your pet has any behavioral challenges such as resource guarding, noise phobias, dog reactivity, and so on. This will not deter me from providing care to your pet but it will help me prepare for how to care for them with these behaviors in mind. Please leave me with a detailed care guide, emergency contact info, the name of their primary vet, and other pertinent information prior to booking with me so I can provide your pets with the best possible care!
